About: I have house/dog sat for 7+ years now around my old neighborhood. I have cared for pets (cats and dogs) of many ages and breeds. I am experienced with giving your fur babies the medications that they may need and the amount of exercise they require. I am experienced with caring for young and old dogs and will personalize care however you prefer. My pup requires a long walk every day so I am used to walking long distances if needed; it is completely up to you to decide! I have a SUPER friendly boxer. He plays very well with other dogs, big and small. He loves all dogs, humans, cats, you name it. I also currently foster for a Belgian Malinois rescue and have a ~2yo mal foster. She is also friendly and does well with dogs but prefers neutrality. If your dog isn’t friendly or prefers alone time, that is also fine! I am easily able to separate dogs so that they can have a neutral environment. I work from home currently, so I am available to take the pups out whenever they need. My dogs usually get a long walk (1-4 miles) and any dogs I watch are welcome to join! If they cannot handle a longer walk they can get a shorter walk before or after my dog’s walk. I leave for about an hour a day to work out or run errands. At most I’m gone 2 hours from my house. I live in a neighborhood and have a semi large yard. My yard is not fenced but I have long lines (leashes) that I will take your dog out on to run and get exercise if they do not prefer walks. They will always be supervised and on-leash outside to prevent any accidents!

Additionally, I have worked as a vet assistant at a veterinary hospital in Fredericksburg ,at dog daycares, and at boarding facilities in the past, as well as have personally owned and cared for dogs and cats my entire life! Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
