Fernie had another great weekend with Sophia!

Sophia was wonderful! She sent so many pictures of Fynn having a great time playing with her pups, playing in the backyard and cuddling during nap time. Sophia was able to meet all of Fynns needs and we felt comfortable leaving him in her care! Would definitely call on her again! Fynn came home happy and tired after a fun day at her house!

Fernie had a fantastic time and we greatly appreciated the regular updates and photos from Sophia! Looking forward to booking with her again!

Sophia was warm and welcoming to both me and my puppy Chai on our first meeting. Then while watching Chai she would send me multiple photos and updates throughout the day. Chai was well cared for, and clearly had fun at her home! I highly recommend Sophia!

I left my yellow lab Millie with Sophia for 3 nights, and Millie had a wonderful time! Sophia sent pics and updates. I could tell Millie was safe, happy, and well taken care of. I’m sure Millie will be excited to go back!

Sophia watched our dog porter while we were gone over the holidays. She checked in on him multiple times a day and left us feedback each time on how he was doing. We love hiring Sophia when we go out of town because we know he’ll be well taken care of.

Sophia is great to work with and my shy, nervous dog loves her. Shes punctual and very communicative when we’re out of town.

Sophia is amazing as well as her fur kids. Bella had such a great long weekend stay, playing with all her new friends. Sophia’s home is warm and welcoming, and we appreciated her willingness to be flexible with our plans if needed. In pictures that were sent, Bella looked happy and content so we knew she was in great hands. I would totally recommend Sophia and will use her again if we travel this way again.

Oki was well cared for while under Sophia's supervision. He enjoyed playing with her three dogs. I would certainly use her services again.

Sophia & The Rover service were all amazing. First time users and will be returning (to hopefully book Sophia) on our next out of town get away. Sophia had a connection with our cats that was immediate and left us with no worries while we were gone. Well taken care of with tons of pics which is one of the best features of this service. I can’t give a higher recommendation than to book Sophia through Rover to take care of your animals while you are away.

We asked Sophia to house sit and watch our dog for 5 days while we were on vacation. She sent a lot of updates and photos of our dog putting us both at ease. She also took in our trash and let me know about a neighbor dog that had almost started an altercation while out on a walk. I would definitely recommend Sophia and Porter loves to see her when she visits!

Sophia was an excellent sitter. She has a natural skill with animals. She handled her 3 small dogs and our golden retriever with love and diplomacy. :-). Our dog loved her playmates and the bedtime cuddles. We received daily delightful photos to warm our hearts and relieve any possible concern we could have. She is 100% reliable. We will definitely use her again!

Sophia did a few check ins for our cats when we were gone over night. She took great care of them and they were happy and content when we got home! We’re looking forward to her staying for a longer trip soon.

I had high hopes for Sophia as a sitter and regular dog walker given all her reviews I read and the in person meeting. However, it was not the best experience. The most concerning thing was receiving a message from my neighbor halfway through the 3 week sit to say she saw Sophia talking aggressively and quite frankly, mean, to my dogs while she had the door open getting ready for a walk. She saw her yank hard multiple times on their leashes to pull them back into the house. When I messaged Sophia about this there was little in the way of an apology or explanation, leaving me to think this is just how she handles dogs. Not okay. I had left a printed housesitter guide which specified positive reinforcement only, no verbal or physical punishment. Besides that (reason enough to not have her back for me), it seemed like she did the bare minimum in terms of exercising and playing, and one of my dogs didn’t look all that happy in most of the photos. She also lost my house key and hadn’t put the spare back in its place, causing an hour of high stress until my landlord was reached. A friend who sometimes walks past my house later said she heard dogs barking inside a couple of times while I was away, which makes me think Sophia did not use the white noise machine as instructed (it was not on when I returned). Finally, the house was not as clean as I had left (not properly vacuumed, lots of poop in the yard). The only good things I can say are she was quick to respond to messages, sent plenty of proof of life photos daily, and the dogs were alive and well (plus a few lbs). I have had lots of dog sitters which have done a great job - this was the first time I was truly disappointed.

Sophia did a wonderful job of looking after my pup! Received solid updates while I was away, including great photos. This was my first time leaving my dog behind for a couple of days so I'm grateful I was able to find a great sitter. Thank you!
