Once again Sara loved on our 11 year old somewhat anxious Betsy and took care of our home for 10 days. We never worry about our older girl while we’re away as Sara has an older dog too. We are so grateful to Sara as we have for peace of mind while traveling and Betsy loves being with her.

Sara is amazing! Our dogs LOVE her. I feel so much better about leaving them knowing they are in good hands. Our dogs have a lot of energy and Sara does so good playing with them/keeping them entertained.

Sara is awesome! Our dogs are so excited to see her when she arrives. She has house sat for our 2 beagles a couple of times and we would love for her to sit for us in the future. We feel so comfortable knowing she is home taking care of our babies. She sends great updates and takes care of anything needed/asked, including our multitude of supplements we give our dogs.

Sara has become part of our family. Betsy loves her and receives Sara’s utmost attention with cuddles, walks and rides. Betsy has become more anxious as she ages and its a relief to have a sitter who keeps her calm and happy. We came home to a clean house, bedding and towels. Sara even had to deal with sheltering Betsy and herself in the closet during a tornado warning last evening. Thank you Sara!

Sara was hands down the best we have used off Rover. She showed up promptly as discussed left the best messages and pictures on the cards and loved our pups as her own ! I usually have such anxiety leaving our pups so we take less trips due to this but we trusted her reviews and she did not disappoint!! We will forever use Sara as long as she is on Rover ! I would even plan my trips around her availability to make sure she was the one watching our pups ! Thank you Sara for your great care you took of our pups you are the best !!

Sara is just great and we appreciated how well she took care of our doggos on super short notice! Sara was always punctual, communicated every visit and sent photos. Sara is a delight for dogs and humans alike! Our Betsy is 9 and has started getting anxious away from home so we hired Sara to stay at our home for 5 days. By the second day they were great buddies. Sara sent us photos and videos of Betsy which eased my anxiety about leaving her too. The house was very neat and Sara even washed the bedding for us. I highly recommend Sara as a house and pet sitter.

TLDR: Dogs were left home alone for 12-13 hours for 2 days in a row, and Sara lied to me about it until I confronted her with security footage time stamps. I hired Sara for in-home sitting from 10/30-11/2. My dogs have a feeding schedule of 9am & 5pm and, as per their Rover profiles, they should not be left alone for more than 4 hours at a time. My chihuahua has a hard time dealing with door knocking/doorbell ringing, so I also asked that measures be taken to help him get through Halloween night. Per security camera footage and electronic door logs, Sara was gone for 13 hours on the 31st, with only a 20 minute drop-in from 5-5:20pm, leaving the dogs home alone until 10:30pm. When she finally arrived home, she sent me a message telling me that she had spent the evening at home with the dogs & that they handled the trick or treaters well, which was a lie. She left my home the next morning at 5:30am and did not return until 6pm, leaving the dogs alone for nearly 13 hours again, and forcing them to wait 5 hours past their normal 8 hour feeding window. When confronted with her failure to adhere to care guidelines, and her blatant dishonesty, she refunded me $40 of the $280 that I paid for her services, but no amount of money makes up for the stress and anxiety of being so far from my pets, knowing they were alone and not getting the care they needed.

Sara was wonderful with my 3 dogs. She stayed with them for a few days while I was out of town and did an excellent job caring for them, even though my senior dog was dealing with some health issues. 10/10 highly recommend

Although we did not get to meet as I had hoped, I totally respected her reason: coming off a military exercise. We spoke by phone which was very pleasant. Sara spent time w/ Maggie and spent time outside w/ her so Maggie could relieve herself. Everything was as I left it so I am very appreciative. Many thx!

Sara made me feel so comfortable with my pups in her care! From the meet and greet, I knew my babies would be in good hands. From her warm demeanor and kind nature to her daily check in pics and updates, I couldn’t have felt more at ease being away from my dogs. Whenever I’d be missing them, I’d get a text and picture from Sara and it would warm my heart. I also loved knowing that they had Layla’s company and had another companion with them. We will certainly be booking another stay with Sara and would recommend her to anyone!
