Pet care experience
Some people call me the dog whisperer... I just think I have a strong case of Dog ADD! I immediately lose focus and become distracted by befriending any dog in my closest vicinity. I love animals, and getting the opportunity to spend time with them makes me happy. I'm waiting for the opportunity for myself to own my own fur child soon (unfriendly building), and until then, I love to take care of other's pets. I'm as much a cat person as I am a dog person. I have experience taking care of most animals you may find in a home -- pet rats, fish, ferrets, birds, rabbits etc. I'm great for animals who love to walk, cuddle, and get lots of ear scratches and massages. My own family dog was injured a few years ago and is paraplegic and I adapted to his personal needs empathically easily. I have patience and compassion, and love to make sure that each animal feels calm, safe, loved, and happy. #petsitting/dog walking service for:

 Need someone who has flexible hours to give your pups some attention during your busy workday? I'm available to drop in visit your pets for scheduled playtime or walk any time, any day! I own and run a community engagement coaching business and also run a non-profit organization that collects donated clean warm clothing and needed items, and then distributes them during our volunteer-based outreach days to those in need in the downtown eastside. This allows me to work from home or remotely, I'm often available to visit pets and also to take frequent dog-walks and cuddles as a necessary break from the computer. I'm available day and night and on weekdays and weekends. I've had my own dogs and cats since I was five. Since about 13 years old, my family and many of my friends’ families have hired me to care for their furry family members while on vacation. I'm an avid walker and hiker, so taking the pup out for a great outdoor adventure getting those legs stretched and maybe even out on a hike if our location allows!

Sara was so kind and thoughtful! It was our first time leaving our cats with a pet sitter and Sara went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Sara kept us updated each day and sent lots of photos. Sara took such great care of our cats and our home!! We will definitely use Sara again.
Sara was sooo great to our girl Maggie! She started out by meeting her prior to booking which helped us feel super comfortable and let Maggie get to know her. She really wanted to know everything about making Maggie comfortable while we were gone. And she sent us so many pictures and updates, so we were never worried about her while we were away. She’s the best and we can’t wait for her to take care of Maggie again!
Sara was an absolute pleasure and Rocco had an amazing time in the short time they were able to bond. Would certainly recommend for your fur-baby needs!
Sara is wonderful and really made us feel comfortable and at ease leaving our quirky anxious boy with her!

A typical day
ON PET VISITS: I'm a great tug-a-war playmate and ball thrower. After taking care of the essentials (water, food, litter, etc.) or any special requests, I spend at an additional time playing, giving massages and cuddling. I'm always happy to stay and do some work on the computer at your place in order to keep your pet(s) company should you wish. ON DOG WALKS: I'm an avid walker and hiker, so taking the pup out for a great outdoor adventure getting those legs stretched and maybe even out on a hike if our location allows! ON ANIMAL SITTING AND HOUSE BOARDING: Your pet(s) will get tons of play and cuddle time - guaranteed. During my visits, your pet will receive the full menu - massages, cuddles, playtime and walks all in one service. **During every service, I like to also send photos/video updates of your pets to you to keep you in the loop as to how your baby's doing. I understand that they are your immediate family members and that knowing they're safe, happy, and taken care of eases the mind.
