We are so glad we found Nicki! We were hesitant to use Rover.com without having a personal referral, but she is the best dog sitter we have had (including above family). Our dogs are large and both have special needs with one being a high anxiety rescue and the other a senior with hip issues and both are on medications at different times of the day. Nicki went out of her way to try to re-create our routine to help reduce stress and to be sure they ate properly. The high anxiety Great Dane rescue doesn't trust most dog sitters (or people) and it can takes days (if at all) for her to warm up and come too close to someone. However, Nicki is genuinely sweet and tentative to the dogs and Lily warmed up to her on the first meeting and immediately trusted her on her first night. This is so comforting and gives us peace of mind when we are away. Thank you Nicki!

Nicki is the best dog and house sitter we have ever had. She genuinely loves our pets and attends to their every need. And this love is mutual-my dogs go crazy when she walks in the door. She spends considerable amounts of time with them, giving them affection, playing with them, exercising them, and keeping them content and happy. She is diligent with medications and dietary needs, and she keeps me informed about any concerns that may arise. Nicki is thorough in caring for our home, down to the smallest detail. We don't have a moment of worry or concern about anything when Nicki is at our home, and I couldn't recommend her more highly.

Nicki has stayed with our huskies on numerous occasions over the last year (the longest stay being 15 days). I can't begin to express how amazing she is. Our dogs love her and are always stress free when we get home. She's grown to be their second mom. Nicki has always kept us up to date, sent us plenty of pictures, and taken great care of the house (we always come home to a clean house). She goes above and beyond anything we could ever ask for. Since the first stay that we booked with her we've never considered any other pet sitter (we actually planned our vacations around her availability). We're sad that she's relocating to a new area, but are very happy for her that she's getting to pursue her career in helping people too! Needless to say, we highly recommend her to anyone in her new service area!

We feel so lucky to have found Nicki! We immediately felt comfortable with her and all of our dogs love her. She was great at sending pictures and communicating how everything was going, on a daily basis. We have boarded our dogs and had other house sitters and this was honestly the first time we have had no stress while being away. Thanks Nicki!

Nicki was professional, unflappable in the face of our two dogs, one of whom has aggression anxiety. She radiates calm energy and the dogs responded with appreciation. She sent lots of photos documenting how elwell they were all getting along. The dogs seemed in heaven when we came back. They even greeted us calmly too!

Nicki watched our dog over this spring break as both me and my wife were away for work. She was absolutely fantastic and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a professional and friendly dog sitter in the Davis area. While away she kept us updated and coming home it was clear that our dog had been well taken care of.

Nicki is WONDERFUL!!! We had a completely relaxing vacation knowing that our pets were under Nicki's care. We were grateful for the photos she shared of our pets. She's totally reliable, responds promptly to inquiries, and genuinely loves animals. She's just an all around great person!!!

I can't even begin to describe how amazing Nicki is :) She watched our two huskies while we were in Europe for 2 weeks. We received daily pictures and updates keeping us worry free. It made the trip so much more enjoyable knowing that our pets were in great hands! We came home to relaxed, well exercised huskies and a clean house. We highly recommend her and will be using her for all of our future trips.

This review is late in coming, but Nicki E is AMAZING! My dogs are my kids and no one, not even my husband, can take care of them like I can (in my opinion). As much as I love vacationing, I worry the entire time I'm gone. I try not to be high maintenance, but I text and wonder the whole time. Nicki was more than amazing. She sent me constant updates and pictures and kept me informed. I missed my babies, but I was confident they were in good hands. I came home to a clean house, happy dogs and a content heart! Will use her every time and so should you!

AMAZING. NICKI is the absolute best! Our dogs loved her! I've never gotten home from a long trip before and found them so relax ! She took such great care of them, sent us photos & Kept us updated every day. She's very friendly and easy to work with. Our flight got turned around mid air and we had to do an emergency landing, which cause us a 5 hs delay. Nicki went back to our house to let the dogs out again and made sure they were ok even tho her stay was already over. Can't wait to work with her again :) thank you Nicki !!

Nicki is AMAZING! She took such great care of our french bulldog Brewski while we were out of the country. She sent us photos daily and kept our fur baby happy. Brewski is a frenchie, so he is a tad high maintenance. He needs his wrinkles cleaned, takes an allergy pill every morning, can't walk too far and can't drink too much water at once. Nicki treated him as if he were her own, and we couldn't be more pleased with the love and care he received. We would HIGHLY recommend Nicki to anyone looking for a dog sitter!! If we could give higher than a five star rating we would!! Thanks, Nicki, for being so wonderful! Brewski misses you already!!

Nicki did a fabulous job! This was the first time we ever used a pet sitter that wasn't family, and she was amazing. She and our dog really bonded, and it is apparent that she is very attentive and caring. We'll definitely be booking her again!

Wonderful experience! Nicki did a fantastic job keeping both the senior dog and the puppy dog happy and well cared for. Also, our house and plants were well taken care of. While on our extended trip, my 6 year old started to really miss his canine friends. On the off chance that she might be amenable to it, we contacted Nicki to see if she could send a little video of the dogs back at home. She, immediately responded and did us one better. Facetime! My son was able to see the dogs, live, in action (well, not so much "in action" as the old dog mostly just sat there--getting her belly rubbed). It put my son's sad little heart at ease and made my job as a mother much easier. Thanks Nicki!

We have finally happened upon the BEST petsitter ever! Nicki showed us great communication and offered us a chance to get away without worry. Kody is a special needs dog that requires daily medication and a watchful eye. She took wonderful care of him ~ so wonderful that it seems he misses her!! Nicki was fantastic with my three dogs. She stayed in my home and took care of everything and the dogs were very happy. I completely trusted her in my home and had no concerns whatsoever. Unfortunately one of the dogs got sick while I was away but Nicki took care of everything and kept in touch with me about what was going on throughout my trip. I highly recommend her and will definitely be using her again for my next vacation.
