Melissa is a phenomenal cat sitter. I’m so grateful for her!

Melissa did an awesome job taking care of Colfax over the holidays. She was great at getting him out for walks and showing him attention. Daily pictures were much appreciated too. You can really tell she loves pets and my dog enjoyed her attention and care. I’ll be using Melissa again in the future.

Melissa was amazing with our dog, Oakley! She paid great attention to the medical needs she has and took extra care with making sure we felt comfortable while we were gone. I live with two big dogs (50 and 80 pounds), both part pittie. We just moved back to Humboldt last week. and the 3500 mile flight from Hawaii was really hard on them. So i haven’t wanted to leave them alone but I had to tonight. I chose Melissa on Rover because she had good reviews and was professional in her communication. Also, she really liked my dogs and was not intimidated by their size or breed at all. I was gone for three hours while Melissa sat for my girls in my home. They felt very comfortable with her and so did I. If I need a dog-sitter again, I hope Melissa is available. Pro-tip: if you’re lucky Melissa will show you a picture of her gorgeous pitty Karma.

Melissa was a great dog walker! She was a huge help, and she was so easy to deal with. But most importantly, Athena loved her. It was apparent that Melissa has a genuine understanding of and love for dogs.

Can't say enough great things about Melissa! We have two dogs and two cats and had never before left them with a sitter so we were a little nervous about the process. One of our cats is on a very specific feeding schedule and requires injections twice a day which was what we were most concerned about when looking for a sitter. Melissa had no issue with this and was able to follow instructions perfectly and gave our cat his shots without any issue. She took incredible care of our home and all of our babies. She was quick to respond and send updates and photos which put our minds at ease while we were away. All of our animals instantly took to her, even our cats that can both be pretty standoffish at first. She is sweet, caring, attentive and incredibly professional. We will absolutely be using her services in the future. Thank you Melissa!!
