Hello! I’m a professional photographer, designer, and filmmaker based in the Mojave Desert. When I'm not shooting or editing images for a client, I spend my time exploring the numerous beautiful hiking trails in and around Joshua Tree, CA with my two miniature Australian Shepards, Caray and Bella. Before relocating to the desert, I owned and operated my own petsitting business in St. Paul, MN. During the 12 years I owned and operated Miss Martha's Pet Care in the Twin Cities and surrounding suburbs, I established so many incredible loving and longterm relationships with dozens of Twin Cities pets and their owners. It was extremely hard to leave, but I'm excited to meet new furry friends and provide reliable, loving and longterm support and service to pet owners throughout the high desert! I can't wait to meet you and your animal pals.

Martha was excellent. She was very attentive and caring. She did a great job keeping me informed as to how Kiana was doing and sending me pictures. I think I found the best sitter ever! My dog Kiana loved Martha's dogs and Martha so much Kiana wanted to stay. I felt my dog was being well cared for, as well as having fun.
Martha is wonderful with animals! She is so patient and attentive. I have trusted her not only with my dog but with my menagerie! I am a household with cats and rodents too! They all loved Martha!
Martha provided fantastic, loving care for my rescue dogs for many years -- both daily walks and longer-term petsitting while I traveled. She was always reliable and punctual, an excellent communicator, and went above and beyond to make sure that my dogs were happy and well cared for. I'd recommend her without hesitation.
Martha took great care of my 2 special needs chihuahuas! She always did everything on my list of instructions and was very compassionate and caring. She also made sure to keep me updated which I really appreciated. If she still lived here I’d hire her again in a second.

Is your pup chill with cats? I have two elderly cats who just sleep most of the day and don't enjoy being chewed on and pretty much stick to themselves. (They can stay in the bedroom if you pup is especially bad with personal space though.) Is your pup housebroken? Please: only housebroken, well-behaved pets are invited to stay overnight. Don't hesitate to contact me to discuss though!
A typical day
I would love for your pup to join my two mini-aussies on our daily hikes in and round Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree. If your pup prefers a chiller stay, we can always hang at home in my half acre fenced yard and play ball, or just soak up some sun. It's a choose your own adventure!
