Star sitter status means that they have booked every single visit requested. I specialize in medicating cats. So I’ve had to decline for lack of flexibility a few times. Diabetic cats for example need insulin at 8 AM and 8 PM. Hello fellow pet parent. I am Certified Cat Training & Behaviour Specialist living in the downtown core. Decades of experience with my own cats, and years with others. Either cat sitting, or as a Behaviour Counsellor for Toronto Cat Rescue, Feline Enrichment and Behaviour Modification with Toronto Humane Society TLC cases. Currently have three rambunctious cats under the age of six. Also a lot of experience with kittens and senior kitty cats. I am a positive reinforcement and fear free advocate. Continuing education on animal welfare, health and behaviour. When I am fortunate enough to spend time with other cat(s) and when they’re in my hands I treat them as though they are my own. I’ve taken care of cats of every kind, calm temperaments, shy, unsocialized rescues, special needs and sassy cats 🐱

Krista was so so lovely and took such good care of Georgie! He was only 1 week out of his neuter and I had to go back to work, but Krista was fantastic at playing with him and making sure he was recovering well. Can’t wait to see her again in the future!
Krista is a superstar who genuinely deeply cares about and loves animals. I was nervous to leave behind my two senior cats for a long vacation, but Krista's great attitude, detailed updates, pictures and videos, and thoughtful questions put my mind at ease. Krista has a special way of making friends with cats: I was so impressed that Zoe, our shy girl, warmed up to Krista very quickly, which is very rare! I would highly recommend Krista as a pet sitter, and I feel a lot better planning future vacations knowing my cats will be in such great hands.
Krista is extremely sweet and my kitten loves her! She’s very good with pets. This was my first time using Rover and she helped explain everything and made me feel comfortable. She sends lots of updates and pictures which I love. I use to get a lot of anxiety leaving my kitten alone and having Krista help has been amazing. She knows a lot about cats and their behaviour and she even went out of her way to express potential concern which I find very helpful as I’m a first time pet owner. Definitely recommend her if you’re looking for someone to take care of your pet!
Krista has looked after my cat twice now and I would definitely hire her again! She sends lots of photos and detailed updates during her visits and I can tell by the photos that my shy kitty feels safe and comfortable around her.
