This was our first time using Rover. I should probably start with the fact that we own two 80 pound bulldogs that think they are lap dogs, that they should sleep on the bed, and cuddle nonstop. Basically 160 pounds of Velcro. On top of that one of them required pills and ointment for a recent medical procedure. Nonetheless, we needed to go out of town for a family event and decided to try Rover for the first time. We used Kimberly and she seemed to get along fine with the dogs at the meet and greet. She was not at all put off by potential medication or ointment. She appreciated the list that we left on the visit itself. She sent daily photographs and reached out if she had any questions. We also checked in and she said she was doing fine. My sister stopped by to grab some medication from our fridge and she reported that the dogs were incredibly happy and Kimberly was very pleasant. That set us even more at ease. When we arrived home the house was tidy (cleaner than we left it and the toilet paper was even folded), the lights were on and the dogs appeared very very happy! Overall this was a great experience for nervous dog owners and we would not hesitate to use Kimberly again. In fact, I’m sure that we will! 10 stars!

I feel a little frightened to leave a bad review since retaliation has been threatened if I do. I received hours of harassing texts criticizing me and attacking my character by Kimberly at the end of my vacation. It started because I informed Kimberly it was possible I may arrive home slightly early from my scheduled arrival time. Then, six hours before my scheduled booking expired she began harassing me about when I'd be home as it was imperative to her that she not be at my house when I arrived home which had not previously been disclosed and made me uncomfortable since we had not made an arrangement for her leaving my keys. When I trust someone to stay in my home I expect them to be willing to be face to face with me if the occasion arises. Over the texting, I repeatedly attempted to diffuse the situation, thanked her many times, but the personal attacks against me continued. (Her beliefe was that i was treating her as "the help" which seemed to greatly trigger her to the point she could not comprehend anything else i said and repeatedly attacked my character based on this unfounded notion, even writing paragraphs in all caps accusing me of thought processes i do not have) I personally felt it was inappropriate for the house sitter to take away my authority over my home and harass me about my arrival time when it was all well within the time I booked and paid for. It was quite frightening to me to have someone still in my home spewing disdain toward me and attacking my character while in my home capable of doing damage. This all seemed very out of the blue since all our communications had been fine during the trip until she began insisting she must leave hours early and there was absolutely no way she was willing to be at my house when I arrived home. She ended up leaving three hours early as i was hoping that by telling her she could leave the harrassing texts would end. I am also irritated because if i only paid for the hours she actually was there i would have paid for a halfday less. When I got home My cat was locked into a room with no food, water, or litter box. I will say she left the house clean, however i was disappointed that she did not seem very interested in my pets nor did she seem to have bonded with my very friendly puppy. To be honest, I have been shaken up for hours because of the way she spoke to me and attacked my character, I have never experienced this level of aggression and disdain directed toward me in my adult life. I don't generally leave bad reviews but I would have for someone else to go through what I went through. Kimberly told me she was "very sternly telling me how it was and I hadn't seen her rage yet". This is not the type of thing I want to deal with when I'm just concerned about my pets' care. I did have to block the rover number to stop the attacks and shortly after she showed up at my door, which frightened me as she had made her feelings toward me very clear. I say this with compassion that she was not engaging as a rational adult. I truly have been very upset by the exchange and truly can't believe it all started with me stating the possibility I may arrive home slightly early. During the exchange Kimberly informed me that she was ready to respond to a bad review. She may be able to crop a screen shot tomake me look bad and if so, so be it, i will not engage in another exchange with her. I say with compassion Kimberly may lack the social skills and self awareness necessary to positively communicate in the house sitting business.

Kimberly was very timely in responding to my request for service. She accepted the job on short notice since my prearranged sitter canceled due to family emergency. She took good care of our kitty girl and kept us informed each day of drop in service. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her .

Kimberley followed all our instructions in reference to our pets. She did a superb job! I would highly recommend her if someone is looking for an in-home pet attendant.

Her visit was a paid intensive preparation for when I do travel ahead. I have a old, fairly sickly but highly trained wonderful dog. His medicine and behavior structures are fairly intensive and unique in a few matters. To be fair, he's high maintenance (allergic to grass, still tries to eat it) so he's limited to staying home and still has to be watched outdoors like a hawk outside because he will try and sneak eating something any chance he can - and if he does he will be so sick for weeks. Kim patiently and methodically learned all this most crucial structures to medicate, protect and guide him brilliantly. He was totally at ease with his most anxiety stimulating tasks when he realized she knew his program too, and would be patient and gentle. He thought she was awesome to work with! Her communication and patience was top shelf. They were both happy and felt safe with the results of the effort, which of course made me pretty happy too! Kim doesn't shy away from learning, adapting, and growth. Harder cases may cost more to prepare for well, but that investment will make everyone better ahead, it's fair. I feel confident she truly aims to honor the needs of the pets she cares for and holds high standards to their physical and mental well being both.

Kimberly provided amazing care for our dog Bella and for our home. She sent daily pictures and updates, this relieved us from all worries and allowed us to really enjoy our vacation. Thank you Kimberly

On our first meeting with Kim we were comfortable with having her dog/house sit. She asked all the right questions and answered all of ours. When we left she gave us updates along with pictures several times a day . We loved the pics and that reduced our anxiety about leaving. We could tell by the way they greeted us that they had been cared for and and had plenty of outside time because the were fed and treated right. So big thank you to Kim, and we will use her again without reservations.

Kimberly was wonderful with our 9 month old puppy. She was available on short notice for a check-in. She followed my instructions, made sure the pup was nice and cool on a very hot day, and communicated extensively with me. I already have her booked to come again!

Kimberly was awesome, we used her to watch our two cats and they did great with her. We got daily updates while we were gone and she also kept excellent care of our house. Will be using again in the future!

Kimberly was amazing! This is my first time ever using a sitter as I normally have my mom but she was not available. I am so happy that Kimberly was able to come take care of my babies. She even went above by making little salads for my rabbits even though I only expected them to get fresh water as I only booked her for my dog sitting. My house was cleaner than I left it which says a lot because I feel like I am pretty clean. I am very grateful that she was able to come over and care for my dog and home. Reliable and friendly. Kimberly did a great job! She was punctual, communicative, and independent. She also did the most thorough job cleaning after her stay at our house that I've ever seen--she even folded the toilet paper rolls into triangles : ) She left a sweet thank you note and description of everything she did before she left. Our dog and cat were in good hands, as was our house.

I absolutely recommend Kim for your pet and housesitting needs. I will for sure be a returning customer. This was my first experience with having someone I did not previously know, come stay at my home and watch my pets while I was away. I was so anxious and uncertain at first, but Kim was absolutely wonderful. She came over to meet us (me and the animals) beforehand to make sure it was a good fit. Once here and I was gone, she checked in regularly with photos and comments and kept the place as clean and tidied up as I'd left it (honestly, not a thing different / I could hardly tell she'd been here the whole time!). Most importantly, she care for and showed a great deal of love and attention to the animals, which was the main thing. No shock my dog loved her, but she even won over my very skittish cat in the few days she was here (*impressed*). I'm writing this the day after she's gone and my dog legit seems to be moping and walking around looking for her. Thank you, Kim!

Our dog Shiloh had a wonderful experience with Kim while we were away for 5 days! Sent us frequent updates, plenty of walks and attention :) Kim had noticed early on that Shiloh was having a little anxiety with us being gone and had not been eating as much, she informed us immediately and per our request began giving her a little bit of our leftover meals with her regular food Attentive, kept the house clean, and extremely pleasant, would recommend and ask to sit again!
