I honestly can’t recommend Justine enough. From even before I booked with Rover, she was incredibly communicative, transparent, and kind. We were in contact for weeks before Max’s stay, and she took the time to answer all of my questions and make me feel completely comfortable. As a first-time Rover user, that meant so much to me. While I was away in Mexico, I never had to wonder how Max was doing. Justine sent regular updates with photos and videos, and it was obvious from every update that she genuinely cared about him. She didn’t just watch him—she spent time with him, played with him, and gave him so much love and attention. It was clear he wasn’t just another pet to her. When I picked Max up, he was happy, relaxed, well-fed, and acted like he’d been home the whole time. That’s probably the biggest compliment I can give. I could tell he felt safe and cared for every single day he was with her. On top of that, I accidentally left some of Max’s belongings at her house, and she even took the time to drive them back to me. That level of thoughtfulness really says everything about the kind of person she is. This was my first experience using Rover, and because of Justine, it couldn’t have gone better. She exceeded every expectation I had, and I would trust her with Max again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much, Justine!

Jestine was a life safer for accepting my last minute booking! She provided me with updates and pictures throughout the days my dog was there, which gave me a sense of relief since this was my first time leaving my dog with someone who is not family. She also gave me a coupon to try out The Farmers Dog, which I will be using. Jestine was super nice and easy to communicate with. I definitely will be using her services again for the future!

Jestine took excellent care of my two dogs! She sent daily pics and updates while we were out of town for 6 days. I get stressed about leaving them because one of my dogs has Addison’s disease and can get stressed and requires daily medication. He did very well with her.

I had a good experience with Jestine for our first booked walks. However, when I tried to book for pet sitting shortly after, I had a disturbing experience. When I submitted the request in Rover she wanted to book me outside of Rover. We had a few text exchanges but then apparently within 2 days I didn’t respond fast enough and she booked another client without even giving me a heads up or asking first. I thought we were already confirmed and just figuring out the booking details… if she thought I might not actually book it then it would have been courteous to check with me first before booking another client. Really disappointing experience and now I’m back to square one.

This review is for my last 3-night stay with sitter Jestine. She sent me 2-3 photos a day. Shots that I couldn’t possible get Ba$h to sit still for. He looked so overjoyed at all times. He’s very strong (pulls), happy and energetic as usual at handoffs but she took over with calmness making him take a liking to her. He came home clean with all of his belongings. This is my 2nd time booking with Jestine this year. She’s sweet, punctual and her home is open and homely for Sebastian. I’ll definitely continue booking with Jestine as long as she offers Rover, Sebastian, and I her services!

My puppy was very anxious when meeting Jestine which I tried to solve by getting them acquainted with a familiar dog walker as a buffer for the next scheduled walk, however Jestine became unresponsive and just didn’t show up for our second scheduled walk. Super stressful as I’m out of town and now have to find another dog walker last minute. Our video introduction was great, and she came across as very kind and personable. However, the lack response, ignoring my phone call and messages and flat out not showing up to a scheduled walk was really disappointing and, in my opinion, shows inexperience. My puppy’s anxiety wasn’t her fault, but not showing up, responding, and leaving me without care was. Really unfortunate, as she initially seemed like she could be a great fit.
