This has been my first Rover experience since creating a new account after I was unable to access my previous one. I never had any issues with pet sitters on my old account, so this experience has been extremely disappointing. Before booking, I clearly explained that my dog cannot be left alone inside the house. Most Golden Doodles have severe separation anxiety. If left unattended, he will destroy the house and could potentially injure one of our four cats, as they do not get along. Despite being made aware of this, my dog was left alone inside. Then, after only one visit, the sitter canceled the booking while we were more than 10 hours away from home. This placed our pets and our home at risk and left us in an incredibly stressful situation on top of having to leave town last minute for an emergency. This level of care was completely unacceptable.
We really appreciate Carrie for being available to watch our sweet girl in a very short notice. She made sure to keep us updated with photos twice a day. Thank you for being so sweet to our sweet Remy.
