Eager for ANY breed, ALL sizes
Pet care experience
At the moment I can't afford an apartment that allows dogs, so I have definitely been pining for some canine contact. I moved here a handful of years ago from Washington State and I had to leave behind my golden retriever, Bonnie, who was diagnosed with cancer two months after I moved. She lasted a year and a half but eventually the disease did take her. Mom called me on Skype and I got to say my goodbyes. My stepdad has two chihuahuas, Rufus and Quervo, both adorable, but not as adorable as my Bonnie =). I am extremely eager to care for any type of dog, of any size or breed. I am willing to do a wide variety of care including baths, brushing, teeth care, giving medicine, walking, playing, feeding, cleaning the yard, taking the dog to dog parks; whatever the dog needs, I'm your girl to give it. I currently charge $35/night for a single dog, with an additional $10/night for each dog thereafter. If you're a two puppo household the rate would come out $45/night, three puppo household $55/night, etc. I currently work a full time schedule, but as long as the dog is okay with me being gone for a normal business day my job hours would never interfere with my dog sitting responsibilities. Why I love dog sitting I was raised with my older brother by just my mother until I was 9, when she married my stepfather. We moved from California to Washington State and that was the first time I got a dog. I was thrilled, because I loved our cat Tyger, but I REALLY wanted a dog. His name was Cody, and he was a beagle, and he was my delight. I loved to take him on walks, try to teach him tricks, let him sleep with me at night; it was very hard when he passed on. The vet suggested we get a second dog when Cody first got sick because it might brighten his spirits and give him more energy, and Mom let me pick out Bonnie, our golden retriever. My step dad was close to Cody's family, so my first clients were all beagles, Freckles and Harley, two of Cody's brothers. Imagine laying down while beagles crawl all over you, it's adorable. I hope one day to buy an acre or two of land, build a nice, little house with my husband and a couple of kids, and an entire pack of dogs! I want a corgi, beagle, golden retriever, pomeranian, black lab, pit bull, rottweiler, yorkie, st. bernard, dachshund, great dane, husky, newfoundland...The list goes on; and I'm perfectly alright with having two or more of the same breed, but I would love to be surrounded by animals for my entire life. My experience administering medication I am perfectly comfortable administering medicine in whatever ways the dog needs the medicine administered. I strive to ensure your animal's routine remains the same while you're away. They're already missing their humans, having their day to day become so different just adds to that stress. So I endeavor to fit YOUR animal into my daily routine, not the other way around. I'm NOT a morning person whatsoever, but if your pup is used to going potty and getting fed at 5am? I'll set 10 alarms, but I'll be up! I only offer house sitting options at the moment (someday if I ever get my own house, you bet I'm gonna have a room just for dog clients though lol), and my way of ensuring the best care to your pets is pure vigilance. I've had clients tell me that I can just let their pup out in the backyard, no need to even really watch em, but I watch em anyway. The way I see it, I'm there to spend time with the animals anyway, and I'd rather not have a freak accident occur on my watch that I'm not even quick to respond to because I was inside doing something else 😞 My job is to have you return home to a happy, healthy, stress free animal, and I take that seriously.

Amazing as always!!!
We've had Regina sit for our fur babies for A LONG time. I would highly recommend her services. Not only are our pets happy when we come home, but she leaves the place immaculate!
Regina is the perfect house sitter and companion for our Izzy when we are traveling. She takes the most incredible and thoughtful care of Izzy and takes care of the house like it’s her own. We can barely tell anyone has been there.
Regina did great! She always kept me updated about our fur child and left the house completely clean when she left!

Information Regina M. would like to know about your pet
The best thing for me to know before dog sitting is any particular fears or health issues I should know about. For example if the dog is afraid of cars I would know to take the dog for a walk in a secluded park, not along the sidewalk of the neighborhood. Or if the dog gets one type of food in the morning, and a second type of food later on at night. I have no breed restrictions, I love them all.
A typical day
Time I'll spend with your dog However much the dog owner needs as long as the hours do not conflict with my school or work hours. Extra house-sitting services Absolutely, whatever the dog owner might need: watering plants, bringing in the mail, dishes, vacuuming, dusting, any other regular household chores.
