Melissa did an incredible job house/dog sitting for me. I have 2 large jobs who are a bit skittish and take time to warm up to people. She has a lot of experience with rescues, which was helpful. She was very communicative, took pictures, kept me posted, and she left our house very clean. Melissa will continue to be my go-to dog sitter when needs arise!

Book Melissa!! She is incredible - she does everything right. She welcomed our dogs into her home for a meet and greet AND a play date to ensure they were comfortable in her home before a week long stay. We received updates all week long of the dogs at the farmers market, snuggling on the couch and in bed, and playing outside in her yard. When I picked the dogs up, they had new toys (!!) and clearly were well rested. There is no better feeling than to know your dogs were well loved and cared for when you can’t take them along. I cannot say enough good things about Melissa and my experience with her. She is absolutely my new go-to dog sitter for my sweet pups. My golden retriever can sometimes be a little shy around new people, so I always pay close attention during meet-and-greets. The moment we met Melissa, he walked right up to her, leaned in for pets, and happily let her love all over him. That alone told me everything I needed to know about her energy and how animals respond to her. While my dogs were with her overnight, she sent plenty of pictures and updates, which I really appreciated. You could clearly see in the photos how relaxed and happy they were. (I’ve received photos from other sitters in the past where my golden very obviously looked uncomfortable, so I know the difference!) She was also incredibly patient with my Goldendoodle, who definitely has that wild puppy energy 😉.
