“Holly did a wonderful job for us taking care of our dogs and watching our house while we were away. So grateful to her daughter Tilly too for stepping in to help when needed. We highly recommend Holly and look forward to having her care for our canine kids. :).”

About: FOR WEEKDAY AVAILABILITY, PLEASE CONTACT ME FIRST. Rover doesn't let me specify hours very specifically. I've been around animals my whole life, growing up in rural Iowa. From bottle-feeding calves to caring for a tripod cat, I have a wide range of experiences! I'm a proud pet-mom to my own three-legged cat, and know what pet owners want in the care of their animals. Dogs and cats will be in great hands with me! I'm available any time on weekends and have more limited weekday availability. I'm willing to take your dog on long walks or to the dog park to play! I'm a college graduate and I spent the past four years working as a tutor on campus. I've been certified as a tutor and have mutliple health and workplace certifications. I've undergone an extensive background check for education in the past I've worked with many different animals as a hobbyist. Finding ways to be closer to animals is one of my favorite ways to spend my time! I work full-time, so my availability is most expansive on weekends, but getting outside on a walk with a dog is a great way to start or end my weekdays around work as well! In my own home, I'm an apartment dweller. My cat is a little higher-need than some others, having only three legs, so my apartment is sort of filled with cat trees and perches to encourage her to exercise and give her safe, stable places to stand.
About: I grew with lots of animals. I cared for one dog and one cat growing up. I love all animals and I want to ensure you feel confident in your pets well-being. I am currently working part time during the summer, so I have lots of free time to check-in and care for your pets. I am a student at Dordt University so I will have some free time during the year too. I aim to provide a safe environment for your pets. I can walk them during the day and check-in on them if that is needed.
“Lexi was absolutely amazing!! We would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for excellent care for their pets. She followed our instructions and took awesome care of our pets and our home. Lexi was great at communicating with daily text messages and pictures of our fur babies. We felt very comfortable with the exceptional care Lexi was giving our pets and home which allowed us to be able to relax and enjoy our vacation.”

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a child. I have cared for dogs/puppies and cats/kittens of all ages. I have years of experience caring for barnyard and exotic pets as well. I am also a registered nurse and have medical education and training to add. I love caring for animals and treat all of them just like family! Pet owners who book services with me with receive regular pictures and updates so they know their beloved pet(s) are safe and happy! I work full-time from the end of August through the end of May, but have evenings and weekends off. I have summers off and have extended breaks during Thanksgiving and Christmas, plus other holidays, allowing me plenty of opportunity to assist you with your time away from your beloved pet(s). I would be caring for your pet in your home and would be available to do overnight stays, day hours, or whatever timeframe needed while you are away.
“Rikki was fantastic with our boys! She sent pictures and they were both so relaxed when we got home. Would definitely recommend Rikki to take care of your fur babies and will use her again!”

About: I have trained and owned animals my whole life. I graduated with a veterinary assistant degree from western Iowa tech in Sioux city Iowa. Animals are my world and I love working and hanging out with them daily. I own a dog and 2 cats and love to cuddle them and train them so they can become and live their best life possible. I can give all my animals baths, exercise, positive reinforcement and love anytime they need it. I have a huge back yard and love to play with them outside too.
About: When I was a kid my family always had a pet. Whether it was a dog or a cat. My grandma has a little chihuahua and she loves it when I visit. I am currently working on getting my learners permit for OTR trucking. I am avaliable whenever you need someone! When I get into a truck I can't wait to get a furry friend so we can see the world together! I will always respect your furry friend and your place. Hopefully he/she will grow to enjoy my visits as we get to know each other!
About: I am a pet parent myself with 3 dogs and 1 cat. I treat them like they're my own children. I have an 11.5 year old dog that requires medications and gentle care, so I understand that as well. I also understand the struggle when leaving to Trust that your furry loved ones are taken care of and in safe hands. That is why I want to help pet parents. I want to give you reassurance and peace of mind while you're away. You set the rules, I'll make sure your furry loved ones are in good hands. I do work full-time, so I'm not available during the weekday, but I can complete drop-ins in the evenings or early mornings and sittings on the weekends. Message me and we can work out details easily if more is needed. Our dogs are currently using Halo collars to maintain a GPS fence. Again, we treat our dogs like our children so they have they're own area where they can come and go freely with a smart dog door. Our cat has her own separate area as well with a water fountain and smart feeder. We give vitamins and bone broth with feedings as well, so I'm no stranger to supplements during feeding times. You set the rules to your own environment and I'll be sure to follow them. Your pet is used to your care and I dont want to change that!

Sioux Center pet parents share their Rover experiences
Holly D was absolutely amazing! This was our first time using this service, and she made the entire experience seamless. Tucker loved her from the start. The pictures and little notes she sent throughout our trip truly made my day and helped us feel at ease knowing he was in good hands. Tucker was so happy staying in his own home and in his own space, and when we got back, he was excited, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. We ended up having to cut our trip short, and Holly was incredibly accommodating—she just handled everything for us without any problem. We highly, highly recommend Holly. Tucker gives her five stars… don’t you, buddy? Yes—Tucker gives her five stars! 🐾✨
