About: What sets me apart is that I’ve been around animals my entire life and have over 10 years of hands-on pet care experience. I grew up with a family-owned 12-run dog kennel, so caring for multiple dogs and understanding their different personalities has always been part of my life. I’m also a proud cat owner, with two cats of my own, Greyson and Suzy Q! Having both cats and dogs has given me experience understanding their different personalities, routines, and individual needs. I know cats deserve just as much attention and personalized care as dogs, whether that means playtime, affection, or simply respecting their space. I also have personal experience caring for a Great Dane with megaesophagus, a condition that requires specialized feeding and extra attention. Through caring for Maggie, I’ve gained hands-on experience with special feeding routines, upright feeding, monitoring for regurgitation, and caring for dogs with unique medical needs. This has given me an even greater understanding of the patience, dedication, and attention to detail that special-needs pets require. Today, I care for every pet as if they were my own, providing plenty of attention, exercise, and a safe environment. My property is equipped with 24/7 security camera surveillance for added safety and peace of mind, and I provide regular photo and video updates so you’ll always know how your furry family member is doing. Pet care is part of my daily routine. I work during the day on weekdays, but every dog receives fresh water, morning and evening feedings, exercise, and plenty of attention before and after work. I’m home on weekends, allowing for extra playtime, interaction, and one-on-one care. I also provide regular photo and video updates so you can stay connected with your pup throughout their stay. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. My property is fully fenced and monitored with 24/7 security camera surveillance. Dogs have access to a clean, secure environment, and I carefully follow each owner’s feeding schedule, medication instructions, and care preferences. I take the time to make every dog feel comfortable, relaxed, and cared for as if they were part of my own family.
About: I’ve taken care of all types of animals pretty much since I could walk. My family has had chickens, quail, pigs, horses, goats, guinea pigs, and of course dogs and cats! I’ve also worked as a ranch hand at a goat farm for 2+ years. Currently the only doggie I can call my own is my sweet Nala. She is a mini schnauzer who loves people and is quick to play with other pups. I currently work part time and attend college on Mondays and Wednesdays. So I can almost always sit or board Thursday-Saturday. I love walking and jogging so I’m always up for that. I’m currently in the midst of moving into an apartment with my best friend who also owns a friendly collie named Josie. And I have my sweet Nala. I will be able to board in the future but it will probably not be till September-October.

This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
