“Amanda went above and beyond when my 1 yo German Shepherd had a few episodes of diarrhea while in her care. Truly a blessing to have her caring for my puppy during this. Can't thank her enough.”

“This is the second time we have booked a stay with Andrea and we will definitely be coming back. My dog seems to like staying here! Andrea easily handles a special (quirky) diet. It was great to get a daily photo and update. Drop off and pick up were flexible. I’m so glad we discovered this sitter!”
“Dayjah watched our cat Scout for us over Christmas. She sent daily pictures and he seemed very happy. She was also patient with our delayed pickup after us getting stuck waiting for our lost bag at baggage claim on Christmas night. Thank you Dayjah!”

“My babies had not been to her house in a YEAR- and immediately they were running around and comfortable outside like they were there every day. Next Karrie called them and they ran into house like we were not even there! Made us feel so good! Definitely going to have her care for them again!”

About: I’ve had dogs of my own over the years and have raised them from puppies, so I’m very familiar with all stages of a dog’s life from training and high-energy puppy behavior to the needs of adult and senior dogs. I’ve also personally fostered two daschund dogs for several years while a friend went through a difficult transition, caring for them full-time until she was able to find pet-friendly housing. That experience really deepened my understanding of long-term, committed pet care. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and breeds from larger dogs like Boxers to small breeds like Boston Terriers, Dachshunds, and Yorkies. I truly love them all and adjust my care based on each dog’s personality, energy level, and needs. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or just companionship, I focus on making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine since I work from home Monday–Friday, which gives me flexibility for walks, feedings, potty breaks, and playtime throughout the day. My availability is open, and I’m also available most weekends. At my home, I provide a safe, family-friendly environment where pets are cared for like part of the family. I have a 10-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy, so I always ensure interactions are supervised and safe for both the pets and children. I follow each pet’s normal routine and make sure they feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for while staying in my home.
“Thanks for taking great care of Sunny! I could tell she was loving all the play time and cuddles! I could also tell she loves staying with you guys! Makes it easy to take a trip when you know your dog is being so well cared for!”

“Carine and her family are very caring and responsible! Our puppy had a great time playing with her kids. We brought our "potty bell" for him to use to tell them when he needed to go out, and Carine used that to seamlessly continue his potty training! Communication with her was very clear and prompt. Her house was very clean too! We're planning to bring our dog to her house again in the future!”

“This is the second time we have had Brittany watch our Golden, Noah. Our flight was delayed by 7 hrs., and she was very flexible in accommodating our schedule change. Thank you, Brittany, for taking care of him while we were gone for the week.”

“Rene was terrific with my dog King. He had never been anywhere overnight before except with family members so I was a little nervous because he doesn’t do well with strangers. Rene won his confidence and mine. Thanks Rene.”

“Kim was wonderful with our Ralph while we traveled. She sent many updates, pictures, and videos. We really appreciated her kindness and caring for our pup since this was the first time we left him without family. I would wholeheartedly recommend Kim to anyone looking for a fantastic dog sitter. Thank you, Kim!”

About: I genuinely treat every pet as if they were my own, focusing on their individual needs, routines, and personalities. I'm dependable, attentive, and communicate openly with owners, ensuring peace of mind while they’re away. Whether it's extra playtime, careful attention to health needs, or simply being a calming presence, I go above and beyond to make sure each pet feels safe, loved, and happy. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine I plan my days around feeding times, walks, play sessions, and any special needs a pet may have. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening cuddle time, I make sure each pet gets consistent attention, exercise, and care throughout the day. Their well-being is always a top priority in my schedule. In my home, I provide a safe, comfortable, and pet friendly environment where pets can relax, play, and feel at home. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
