About: Have you struggled with finding peace of mind, knowing your dog is loved & cared for while you are gone? I can totally relate to that. Finding someone special to take care of our dogs, when we are gone; is so important. I am a dog lover through and through. I treat them like they are part of the family because THEY ARE. I am excited to PAMPER yours. I work from home with a flexible schedule so I am here to take care of your fur baby all day. My husband is also here to assist. We have a bichon named Lexie who we adore. Unfortunately we lost our loving shitzu Lucy back in Feb at age 13. Dogs are very much a part of our lives. We have cared for dogs of all sizes. We do prefer non shedding. We have a 2 acre yard to explore when we go for walks on a leash. Dogs love to walk with us daily around our 1 acre pond. When dogs go outside, we have a large leash that we hook them on for their potty needs to keep them safe as well as for them to safely explore when we are not with them. I do daily walks with my dog. Dogs are welcome to sleep with us; just like our Lexie does. We look forward to PAMPERING your special family member.
About: I have taken care of many dogs and animals before. I have cared for and trained various animals including cats, dogs, horses, cows, and goats. Some of the dogs I've sat for were show dogs or had health needs that required a strict routine, diet, or medication needs. While I used to be in the workforce I am home with two boys, they would be with me for any visits or walks so a somewhat kid friendly dog is needed. We used to have dogs of our own so they are both used to pups. This does make me super flexible and able to get up and go pretty quick. I have experience with a wide array of dog breeds, temperaments, energy levels and sizes. Im all ears for preferences and needs for any dog too. I am up and ready to go if needed by 8 and try to be home to cook by 4, and then Im available from 5:30/6ish when dinner raps up as my husband is home and I can run if needed. I approach slowly and gently to encourage calm for the high energy ones and safety for the more timid. I can give food and water if needed, kennel the pup if needed, and will leave the place the same if not better than how I found it.

Dogs evolved with humans, and I understand that relationship and how dogs meet our emotional needs. The dog decides when it wants to go potty. 😉 Just in case, I usually take the dog out before it decides and always before any discomfort. We can also use FaceTime or Zoom to check in. 🐶🤩 At age 61, I’ve been a retired teacher for 3 years, and my activity level allows me to run or play with your beloved dog. In your home, I follow instructions and do the routine for your beloved just like you would. However, if I’m allowed to give more snuggles, or more walks, or more training than you normally have time for, I’m at your service.
