About: I’ve had family pets as long as I can remember, cats and dogs. Currently have the chillest cat I’ve ever seen. The whole family loves animals. I work as a teacher. Weekends are always open. Summer is completely open, home anytime. Great yard for animals to play, no backyard neighbors either 1/2 acre yard. I have a clean and orderly home to easily let pets feel not threatened or overwhelmed. Big back yard and trails, sidewalks to get out on. Park across the street as well. Quiet, secluded neighborhood.

About: I have 3 golden doodles the oldest being 10 and the youngest being 2. I have taken care of dogs since the age of 8. I have potty trained and also taught my dogs the basic skills and some tricks. I have cared for friends/family dogs and cats when they are away and need someone to watch them. I love all animals and will treat your pet like my own. I’m currently working part time, so I have time throughout the week but my schedule changes so I will keep things updated and only accept cares when I can give your pet the time they need. I always try and stick to the pets routine as much as possible so it is as stress free as possible for them. I have 3 dogs that would be able to give your pet some company if that is what you would like and if your dog is comfortable with other dogs.

About: I grew up on a farm where animals were my first friends. I’ve had pets my whole life and as a parent, my kids quickly learned that I could never say no when they wanted a pet. We’ve had fish, cockatiels, hamsters, parakeets, guinea pigs, cats, and a variety of dogs in our home. We currently have a cat and two German Shepherds. My weekends are mostly wide open and I’m available any time during weekdays since I’m off during the summers. I would love to help take care of your furry friends! I am a teacher so I’m available any time during the summer and usually wide open on weekends for drop-in visits or dog walk dates. I am unable to watch your dogs in my own home, however. I would just need a day or two notice. I am very dependable and trustworthy. I would be happy to come to your home, play and cuddle with your pets, give them a break from their crate, feed them, walk them, play outside, etc… whatever you need to make your life easier and your pet’s life better!

About: I can provide a safe quiet home for your pet to visit when you’re away. I work from home and spend the days with our almost 8 year old boxer mix, Aggie. We love taking walks to the park near our home and we have a small fenced in back yard with a privacy fence. Aggie gets along with almost every dog and will sometimes play. She can be pretty vocal when she plays but is otherwise super quiet. She’s a great role model for younger dogs :) I work from home so I am usually home with the pets for most of the day. We take daily walks when the weather is good. We have a large dog crate if your dog needs. Our yard is fenced in and dogs wouldn’t usually be home alone for more than a few hours.

About: I absolutely love dogs and treat every pet like family. I’ve been around dogs my entire life — growing up with them and always having them as part of my family. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities, from energetic puppies to senior dogs needing extra patience and attention. I have personally raised two puppies (including one currently) and helped care for several others, so I understand the consistency, training, and care young dogs need. I also had my own dog live to 15 years old, which gave me experience caring for a dog through every stage of life, including senior care. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I will make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Whether your pup loves walks, playtime, cuddles, or just companionship, I’m happy to provide the care and attention they deserve. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, which allows me to provide care throughout the day and stop by in the morning, during lunch, and at night as needed. When I’m in town on weekends, my schedule is very flexible, so I’m often available for additional visits, walks, or extended care. I understand that every dog has different needs and personalities, so I adjust my care based on their energy level, age, and routine. I have experience with puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs, so I’m comfortable providing patient and attentive care for all stages of life. In a client’s home, I always respect their space and follow any instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medications, crate routines, walks, and any special care requests. I have taken care of my parents senior dog who had a horrible heart murmur and needed constant attention. Working with animals is my absolute and favorite thing to do. If a senior dog needs medications, constant reassurance and has to be calm I am more than willing to care for them. About: Avid animal lovers, both fur and feathered alike! We are a family of four humans- mom and three children, with several outdoor feathered friends. We are an active household that enjoys many days outside, but also equally loves cuddling up on the couch for a movie night. At night, your pet is welcome to sleep wherever they find it most comfortable. We have had personal pet ownership experience with blindness, deafness, and separation anxiety in dogs. In addition to our own pets, we have also opened our home to foster dogs for several years, specializing and dog reactive dogs, as well as hospice/end of life care. My career consists of over a decade of hospital-based pharmacy experience, and I am now fortunate to currently work from home. With my career and volunteer dog hospice foster experience, I am comfortable and knowledgeable in administering any oral, subcutaneous, and IM medications. - We provide care to one outside family at a time to ensure a stress-free experience for everyone. I do allow exemptions for multifamily households. - Your pet will have an adult with them for at least 20/24 hours per day. Most updates are sent with morning breakfast, midafternoon rest, and before bedtime. You are also encouraged and welcome to reach out anytime outside of that. - If your pet does require a crate at any point, please ensure one accompanies them to drop off. We are a home-based boarding experience and do not have commercial kennel runs. - If your pet has been excused/banned from a commercial boarding facility, I do require a no-cost meet and greet for introductions before confirming the booking. It is my priority to ensure your pet feels safe, and I am confident in their needs before confirming commitment. - Privately insured for household companionship pets, which covers both care during boarding and any agreed-upon transportation. Keywords: home-based, medical needs, special needs, reactive, medication administration. I am generally available to accept same-day bookings as someone who works from home. At this time, my employer allows me to set my own hours, meaning I can easily adapt to your pet's schedule and any medical needs. Bathroom breaks are averaged at every two hours and anytime outside of this at your pup's request. If your pet prefers to spend afternoons in the sun, then that is where I am happy to work that day! Any pets boarded in our home can expect to have a human home a minimum of 20 out of the 24 hours in a day. We welcome your pets to rest and sleep wherever they are most comfortable- couch, pet bed, human bed, etc. If you request or your pet requires kenneling at any time, please ensure a kennel accompanies them to drop off. Our home is carpet-free (stress-free!), and we understand accidents happen. Please inform me if your pet is working on potty training, and we can reduce the number of rooms initially accessible. Our acreage is unfenced, and dogs have access to the backyard of the property. If your dog is not off-leash trained, we provide a pulley tie-out to allow them a greater range of access. If you are most comfortable with leash walking, that is also just fine with us!

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life! I grew up on a large animal farm where we had bison for 20 years. I went to college at msu Mankato for animal science. In 2016 I started working at a boarding kennel and ever since I have found my life passion of working with dogs and cats. I have 4 dogs of my own on a hobby farm. I have two springer spaniels, my rescue dog that is a chow pit bull, and recently got a golden retriever puppy. I have also been grooming dogs professionally since 2018. I know how to do anal glands, haircuts, nail trimming and buffing, ear cleaning, meds, baths, basically the whole works! I am currently available pretty much everyday for drop ins, walks, feeding, meds, and to give love to your fur babies! Even last minute I’m available I offer drop in at your house, I can do over nights if needed, I also can pets to appointments if needed. I do have experience with aggressive dogs as well. I have a fully enclosed 7 foot tall fenced in yard as well

About: Though I’m new to Rover, I've watched animals for friends, family, and employers for the past 10 years and would love to chat with you to see if I can help you with yours. As a former receptionist at an emergency vet clinic and with extensive experience with my own fur babies, I'm very aware of the health risks to both cats and dogs and have training in recognizing signs of distress. I will work with you to establish an emergency plan beforehand if you are going on extended trips. I also have experience with several vets in the area and even bringing animals to the animal chiropractor. I know that every animal's personality is unique, and routines are important for managing stress. My goal is to be that trustworthy, consistent, and dependable addition to your animal's care team. We always had multiple cats and dogs at one time in my family home growing up. They were more than my animals; they were my brothers and sisters and beloved friends. I've loved and cared for 3 of my cats and 2 of my dogs into their senior years and through medical complications. I have experience with administering medications, including insulin to cats, animals with arthritis, and care after major procedures. I currently have open availability during weekdays M-F. I'm here to provide weekday support via check-ins and walks for busy families, as well as support with home visits if you are on vacation. I do work weekends, so my availability over weekends is limited. I respect all house rules and work with you to get every detail of care, big or small. You set how many updates you’d like to receive when away, but it’s standard for me to write a document of all activity and behavior after each of my visits for you and your vet to reference at any time. I’m happy to do initial home visits to make sure care works for us both.

About: I am very familiar with reptiles, cats, dogs, and birds. I have been helping take care of others animals and have lots of experience with all stages of dogs. I am currently just in school at the moment for Psychology , which is just online, so I have plenty of free time to work around! About: I love working with dogs. I have sat for a wide range of dogs sizing from a brussels griffen (14-15 lbs) to southern bloodhounds and black labs. Have given basic medication (a probiotic for the southern bloodhound), fed and walked dogs. I have also walked both together, so I am not against having 2 dogs at once. I have also used a couple different forms of restraints, such as gentle leaders, normal neck collars and shock collars while on walks to keep dogs under control as per owners instructions. One of the dogs I sit on a regular basis is an aging almost 10 year old southern bloodhound. I also have taken care of a shiba inu at weeks at a time, giving her longer 3-4 mile walks. My availability tends to lie in afternoons, evenings and some weekend availability as I have a 40 hour a week job. Generally what dog owners will like about my care is when I am given specific instruction, I will follow their instruction word for word, to keep their dog happy and healthy.
