About: Currently, only taking overnight guests (boarding in my home) on a case-by-case basis. Please ask. I have a new rescue puppy who is very shy. I have been around pets all my life. I've looked after my own and friends' and family's animals specifically cats and dogs. I will give lots of time, personalized attention, walks and love to your pet while you are away. I offer in-home pet sitting in my home in town, or in your home depending on your location. This personalized and individualized care compared to boarding or kenneling seems to be preferable for happy pets and owners. I'm fully retired and while I enjoy the outdoors -- hiking and walking, camping and fishing, I also have plenty of time to devote to caring for pets whose owners are busy or away. My yard is fully fenced and conveniently located in the town of Westcliffe. If boarding, your pet would be allowed to treat our home like its own. If in your home (within a reasonable distance), scheduled visits will meet your specific requirements such as play time, short walks and feeding schedules.

“Edward was great with Dallas. He communicates well and response pretty quickly. He took us last minute with no hesitation. Dallas is a rescue dog and was very needy and Edward was great with him and sat with Dallas a lot of the time that he was with Edward. Don't have to worry when you go out of town, you can rest easy and know your fur babies are being well taken care of with Edward❤️🐾”

“Dana is as kind hearted and trust-worthy as they come. I would not hesitate to recommend her for any of the services she offers. Her communication is prompt and efficient, and her demeanor is friendly. My dog loves her. After he’s been with her, he is sweet and happy, zero stress. That means so much to us. Dana, we appreciate you and your beautiful family! Thank you!”

About: I have personally owned dogs as long as I can remember. From Rottweilers to Chihuahuas. I have dog sat numerous times, between boarding at my house and house sitting at a client’s home. I’m a true dog-lover at heart. I love dogs in all shapes and sizes. They are the most loving and most loyal. They really are better than most people! Lol. I have a sweet, energetic, laid-back, one and a half year old mini poodle. I also have a 3 year old hedgehog, but since he’s nocturnal and likes to keep to himself, pets don’t interact with him. He’s caged in my room and will be out of the way. I also have experience in taking care of senior dogs including: administering meds, feeding picky eaters, helping with potty breaks, helping with walks, etc. I have personally trained all of the dogs that I have owned. I have lots of puppy experience and don’t believe in “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks.” as I have also trained older dogs that I have rescued. I currently work from home and I am usually off by late afternoon/early evening. I can be home with your baby. We can play and take as many potty breaks as needed. I also don’t work on the weekends and like to fill my weekends up with fun activities! I have a fenced in backyard and a safe neighborhood to go on walks. Your doggo would have complete freedom of the house (as long as I’m home, of course). Doggies are allowed on the furniture and allowed to sleep with me. If they are crate trained, of course that’s okay too.

“Fiona was an excellent sitter, was nice to see the photos of them content and happy at her home! Communication was excellent, highly recommend and will use her services again! Thank you for caring about my furry family!”

About: I have had dogs since I was a kid and I couldn’t imagine life without them! I have helped family members, friends and neighbors care for their dogs over the years. I enjoy walking and playing with our dog and will include your sweet baby in our family walks and play! My backyard is safe and secure and has plenty of room for dogs to play and run! I have a doggie door and have found that dogs figure out how to use it with ease, if they don’t have one at their home. My grandchildren are here periodically and are also dog lovers! I’m currently working part time, 3 days per week, 4 hours per day. My dog and I walk about 3 miles, most days. The rest of the day is spent with her following me around and helping me with my chores, even help me go potty!!! I have a fully fenced yard with room to play. I currently have 1 dog, she’s a silver lab and is about 9 years old. She’s a good girl, most of the time! My dog gets dog treats on our walks and throughout the day. She currently eats twice per day, 6 am and 5:30 pm. We are able to adjust schedules for your dog, if necessary.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs most of my life and my dog Zephyr and I are looking forward to taking care of your special furry friend too. Zephyr is a Goldendoodle and gets along well with other dogs of all sizes and ages, he also understands when another dog wants to be left alone. I work from home and have plenty of free time for play. Zephyr and I take regular trips to the park, the river or lake, and hiking. My home has a secure fenced yard and his privacy fenced in the back. It also has a nice grassy area in the front. That’s great for playing and relaxing.

About: Our family had dogs since I was a young boy; I've had many since then. I've also trained them. We also had fish, hamsters, birds, reptiles and lizards as pets. Some 15 years ago, one of my dogs went blind... I cared for him for 10 yrs after that until he passed away. He never left my side. A few years ago, I got another dog but she died of cancer last year. At the moment, I don't have a dog (she died) but I have 5 cats. I do rather well with both and my cats are quite used to dogs. I used to live on a ranch where we raised Arabians; I was responsible for feeding & caring as many as 18 horses. When I was younger, I rode often and played polo. My father passed 10 yrs ago and his wife sold our ranch. I am available to feed horses provided that I'm paid the time it takes to travel back and forth. I am available for cat/dog sitting & feeding. If you need dog boarding, please let me know if you pet gets along with cats. I work from home, so I am a home quite a bit. I also have a flexible schedule, and this can be accomodated to work around certain issues or conflicts. Please contact me with any questions, concerns, or comments. I have a large (unfenced) yard, but I am willing to take your pet on walks in my neighborhood, as needed. I live one block away from a park. I am home quite often, so your pet will rarely be left alone. I am available for drop-ins, visits, or even overnights.

“Our senior pup, Betsy had a wonderful time. It is a perfect set-up and location for your fur babies. A whole porch dedicated to dog-comfort (beds, low slung couches, toys and screened room for ventilation). A fenced backyard complete with grass! Betsy is not always comfortable in a new environment (including when we take her with us), but I could tell she loved it here and enjoyed the company of their two dogs and their loving cat. We highly recommend!”

“Renata lives on a ranch and my dogs love to stay with her. They have the best time running on the 100 acres and are safe at night sleeping next to her bed. This is her full time job so my dogs get all her attention. I have a puppy too, she treats him like the sweet baby he is. He is loved and safe. He loves playing with all the other dogs on the ranch. I totally trust her with all 5 of my dogs. They just love her too!!!”
