About: hi! i’m kelsie! i am a veterinary assistant and currently in school to become a veterinary technician. i have 2 years or vetmed experience and 1 year of farm/boarding kennel experience. i have watched multiple fur babies, from playful puppies to senior kitties. i work full time at a vet clinic. my breaks are one hour, and depending on the location, i am able to stop by then. if not, i am able to stop by before and after work. i make sure all animals have the basics such as water 24/7 and am big on feeding on time. i have experience with leash walking, so if you dont have a fence its no big deal! i also believe daily updates are very important and i tend to take tons of pictures :)

I love animals so much I hope I can bring a positive impact on your pets life I work 8:15-4:15 Monday through Fridays I’m available after 4:15 most days if needed but not for a long period of time. I am available most weekends I can come in for drop ins or dog walks I do not recommend to board in my home because my dogs are protective I would have to do a meet and greet if so. About: I changed the direction my life was going and found the REASON was Animal Care. I began volunteering at 2 local Humane Societies in 2013. Very shortly thereafter became employed at both Societies = working 7 days a week with animals. I adopted my first 2 pets (torti cats named Cali & Ava) in the Fall of 2013. Adopted a 3rd torti cat in the Spring of 2014 (named Hallie B). I adopted a chihuahua in the Fall of 2016 (named Clara my grandmother’s name). With the exception of Hallie B they have all crossed the Rainbow Bridge. The 1st in December 2020 then June 2021 and most recently in May of 2025 :-( 🐾🐾🐾 They were adopted as Seniors. They were the best. After 4 years of Humane Society work I changed direction again in 2017 to a more professional aspect of Animal Care becoming employed at a Veterinary Hospital as a Kennel Attendant for over 7 years. I have performed a number of cat drop-ins around the Gloucester area for various residents affiliated with the Humane Society. One such assignment lasted for almost two months while the cat’s owners traveled to Florida for the winter. I currently work (outside of Animal Care) and so starting in November 2026 my 40 hours will be WEDNESDAY afternoon thru SATURDAY night. Those days I am usually available for Animal Care from 7am to 12pm. Sunday thru Tuesday I will be totally available. There is some flexibility with my full time work and the possibility of a little accommodation for Animal Care. I also have to spare some time for my own cat’s care. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
