About: Always joking that dogs are superior but in truthfulness love all animals. Experienced with dogs but open to providing care for other pets. Will strictly adhere to owner requests, so long as they are humane. (Furniture ok vs not allowed, food/walking schedule, treats, etc.). There will be no shortage of affection and attention, assuming the pet is receptive. Open to assisting with reactive or challenging pets. Attempting to build a trusting bond is an inherent desire. Work from home so (brief) walks, potty breaks, playtime, etc can be provided through entirety of day. Longer walks before 8am or after 5pm. Available 24/7 on weekends and holidays. Live alone so no concerns about other pets or children. Have decent sized yard but do require a leash since there is no fence. Safe, quiet, and friendly neighborhood.

About: As a child, my family had a Maltese since he was a puppy and he lived until the age of 15 years old. His life expectancy was around 7 years old, so he was a senior dog. I learned how to take care of my dog at a young age and was responsible for taking care of him. Now, my parents and I have a puppy named Shylo Esch. He is a mix of Bernese mountain dog and mini poodle. I have attended puppy class with him at Manners N' More in Bellefonte, PA. I also frequently walk my family friend's dog who is a Labrador retriever. I grew up around dogs and learning to and caring for them, i have a deep love for taking care of dogs. I have a part time job I currently work around 20 hours per week, my shifts are short around 4-6 hours. I am currently taking a break from college classes, I used to attend PSU. I have various appointments scheduled in advance throughout the week. I make plans with friends and family whenever I have time to see them around my schedule. My baby dog, Shylo Esch, has been spoiled by my parents with many toys and treats. He is treat motivated from puppy training class he attended & graduated from. We leash him for outdoor walks. However his best friends, Lola & Mocha, and sister, Maisie, are the only dogs so far we let play time off leash in our yard together. I am very caring for dogs and I also am trained by attending a puppy training class on how to do obedience and tricks. This was from Manners N' More in Bellefonte, PA. I hold myself to a very strong work ethic and compassionate stance when dealing with fur babies and elderly dogs. In my clients home, I follow their rules and duties. I set up a meet n' greet with the dog and owner before committing. I like to meet the dog and see if we are a good fit by playing with the dog or taking them on a walk with the owner around their usual route. I ask various questions about how the owner takes care of the dog, so I can best follow their lead. I ask about daily routine activities, food schedule, treat frequency, walking time, habits, likes, dislikes, etc. I prefer to follow the daily routine and activities that the dog is used to in order to keep them on track.

About: Throughout my life, I’ve taken care of 4 cats, 2 dogs, three guinea pigs & a ball python. I am comfortable with any species and breed! I’ve held great responsibility to walk, feed, groom and play with my own & others fur babies. I’m up for any task.. big or small. I’ll be there for your pets needs. Currently I hold a full-time job as a support manager. I don’t have a consistent schedule, but I’ve been able to walk/feed pets before and after work. I mostly do mornings and mid shifts. “Alexus was wonderful with our fur babies! We have grumpy 15 year Yorkiepoo, Dooney, that doesn’t do great with new people, but and he was fine with Alexus. She even gave Dooney his medicine. We also have a rescue Yorkie that weighs 2 pounds who needs to be coaxed to eat. Alexus let him sit on her lap and held his food dish until he was comfortable enough to eat! She’s the dog whisperer ? Alexus was great with communication, very flexible and sent us awesome photo updates every day. We would love to have Alexus look after our babies again, and would recommend her to others!”

I have had a variety of dogs and cats growing up and most recently live with two 100+ pound rottweilers. We bred our female rottweiler and raised 12 healthy beautiful pups! Family members and neighbors have relied on me to feed, bathe, walk, administer medicine, and take care of their furry babies! I have over 15 years of experience caring for all types of animals (even birds and hamsters)! No matter the age, breed, or aggression level, I have seen it all and I am ready to spoil your baby! I am currently a student at Penn State and am looking for some work for the summer so I will have ample time to give your fur babies the care they deserve! About: I've been house sitting for friends and family since I was 12. It allowed me to supplement my income and work with the animals that I have loved since a young age. I was a vet tech in high school and during the first few summers in college, gaining small animal medicine and husbandry experience. In addition, I worked at a two different doggy day cares throughout my graduate and undergrad degrees, gaining a lot more experience with dogs and a little bit of dog training. Both of these degrees are also in animal science. I love pets of all kinds and have looked after everything from horses to dogs and cats, to birds. I am new to the area as a recent Penn State hire and don’t have established contacts for dog sitting like I did in the areas that I lived for my degrees. I work full-time but have a fair amount of flexibility to work remotely up to 3 or 4 days a week. If you have a stable wifi connection I will be more available to spend time with your pups although there may still be some days I need to be gone for work for up to 8 hours. I am willing to stay with your pets overnight if that is your preference. I will not be boarding dogs as my landlord does not allow pets. I am respectful of your home and space and treat your pets as I would my own!

About: I’m a dog groomer and I have been certified in pet cpr through the grooming trainer center! I’ve been doing this for two years and have a golden retriever of my own, she just turned five. I’m working full time but can come after I’m done and before I go in! I have off every other Saturday, sundays and mondays. Very flexible! When I take your dog out I will always have it on a leash, I will always make sure it has water and whatever else you need me to do!
