“Alexa is the best dog sitter you could possibly find. I get feedback photos of my dog enjoying her stay every day. She goes above and beyond to accommodate her clients and my dog loves her so much. In fact, I think my dog is very sad today because Alexa is not here.”

“The best review is the way my little guy went running to Michelle with his tail wagging when I dropped him off. He obviously enjoyed his stay with his doggie friends everything to explore in the big back yard.”

About: We've had Golden Retrievers since 2005 and LOVE Goldens. We currently have three Goldens - Red (age 6), Max (age 5), and Riley (age 3). We often dog sit for our family and friends that have Goldens and I love it so much, I decided to start a Rover account to do it for others that have Golden family members and need a fun, reliable place for them to go when they travel or need boarding. I'm a self-employed educational psychologist with a flexible schedule. I often work from home and am off over the summer and during school holiday breaks. We have three Golden Retrievers (ages 3, 5,and 6) who get a lot of activity. We have a huge fenced back yard, and a fenced front yard, and play fetch every day out back with the ball thrower. We also go on walks around the neighborhood. We have a doggy door, and the dogs go in and out at their leisure. Our dogs are a major part of our family. They're always with us. They sleep in my bed. Your golden(s) can sleep in my bed or room, too, or in a crate if that's what they're used to. We also have two kids (age 11 and 8), so your dog must be good with kids, as well as with other dogs.

“Jenn watch my GSP Scout while I was on vacation. Jenn was very accomodating for drop off and pickup times. She send txts of how Scout was doing during her stay. I will be using Jenn again to watch Scout the next time I go on vacation! Thank you Jenn for watching my girl!”

“Noah was great! Both my hyperactive puppy and more staid golden retriever appeared happy in the many photos he sent, and when I picked them up. They seemed to get a lot of attention, and Noah seems nice, caring and unflappable.”

“We usually board our dogs at a kennel, but our current dog has kennel stress and that was not an option for us this time. A friend suggested the Rover app to find somebody who would watch our dog in their home. This led us to Sara. We can not say enough good things about Sara. She was awesome to work with, very personable, and always responded to our texts in a timely fashion. But more importantly, our dog loved it at her home. She sent us daily videos and photos of our dog playing and having fun with the other dogs being boarded. It was very reassuring to get these daily photos and know our dog was well cared for and enjoying herself. Sara has a large fenced area for the dogs to run in, but she also welcomes them into her home and on her furniture (sign of a true dog lover!). Sara was also very accommodating when our dog needed a special diet for a few days. This was such a positive experience all around. We will never take our dog to a kennel again. Thank you Sara- you are the best!”

Sierra Springs dog parents share their Rover experiences
Tylar was a great sitter! My dogs quickly felt comfortable with him and his home. He has a great yard that they were able to play in, a nice porch where my big mutt enjoyed sun bathing and watching nature from while my yorkie enjoyed the luxuries of his living room. Throughout the whole stay, I got frequent photo updates where my two boys always looked so happy. Past sitters have said that my dogs get nervous and don’t eat much but Tylar said both dogs ate several meals throughout the stay proving that they were truly relaxed and being well exercised and cared for. Tylar even took them out for walks which I know they loved. I would certainly book again.

Awesome! He sent pictures, cuddled up, gave her lots of play time and I got a happy, healthy tired little nugget back. Definitely gonna recommend Tylar (and Odin!) to anyone who will listen...which, is unfortunate for them, but definitely worth spreading the good word!
