“Matt has been a blessing & has eased our fears of leaving our girl for the day. Matt sent a photo update & stayed in communication with us on a trial run. I know my girl is in good hands with Matt & feel so much better about my day away.”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, particularly giant breeds. I love all dogs and want to give them the best chance possible to be healthy and happy! My home has been a foster for many dogs at different times. Taking in dogs in need of medical care, puppies, female dogs going through heat before spay procedures, neglect cases and senior dogs. I’ve seen it all and will do whatever to provide a safe and comfortable place for you pet to relax and adjust. I am home full time with outings that are no more than 2-4 hours for drop in visit. We spend plenty of time snuggling and pulling out any and all of the toys. I have a fenced yard and a permanent crew that enjoy friends to play and nap with. There are cats in the home that have their own room if any dogs that day are reactive to cats. Another bedroom is just for the dogs so if your dog is not crate trained they have their own bedrooms protected solo space for feeding or if for any reason I need to leave the home.

“She is the best! She loves my dog ! 💖 she plays with her and make my puppy feel happy 😊 she also is training my puppy I am so thankful for that 🙏 The best sitter! We will keep booking 💖 Thank you so much for everything you do for my puppy 💖”

About: I have had dogs and cats since I was born. My parents share the same love for animals as I do, and I think I love them more honestly! I’ve dealt with losing a pet, and adding new additions to the family. In my eyes no breed of dog or cat is superior and I would love to meet all the pets I can!! I work part-time so I will put the days I am available into the schedule! On my days off I would be more than happy to take your dogs for walks or do drop in visits with dogs and cats! I also marked all days as available because my hours can be funky and I can sometimes work only 4 hour shifts. I take my dogs for walks frequently. They are a bit stubborn sometimes (especially my olde english) but after we get walking they love being outside! The summer heat gets to them both though, so I would love to get outside!

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my genuine dedication to each pet’s happiness and routine. I treat every dog as if they were my own, giving them all the love, attention, and playtime they deserve. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and always make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable while you’re away. Whether it’s long walks, cuddles, or just someone to keep them company, I go above and beyond to meet their unique needs and give you peace of mind. I am studying for my NCLEX currently to become an RN, so I am free anytime to take care of your dog. I will be dedicate my free time to making sure your dog stays happy and healthy! When I walk your dog, their safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always use secure, well-fitted leashes and harnesses, and I stay aware of our surroundings to avoid any potential hazards. I take the time to build trust with each dog, letting them get to know me at their own pace so they feel confident and relaxed on our walks. My calm and caring approach ensures your pup feels safe, loved, and excited for every adventure we take together.

About: I bring years of trusted dog-walking experience to every assignment, having earned the confidence of neighbors and community members who repeatedly choose me to care for their beloved canines. My comprehensive approach ensures your dog receives everything they need: fresh food and water, regular potty breaks, and engaging walks tailored to their energy level. My established reputation for reliability and genuine care means you can travel worry-free, knowing your furry family member is receiving love and care. I'm excited to extend this proven track record of excellence to caring for your dog! I have a flexible weekly schedule with plenty of room for dog walking throughout the day. I am usually available 7 days a week from 8am to 7pm. Creating a secure, trustworthy environment is my top priority when caring for your pets in your home. I treat every client's space with the utmost respect and discretion, ensuring your privacy is protected and your home remains exactly as you left it. You can count on me to meticulously follow all care instructions, maintain complete security by properly locking doors during every visit, and leave all non-pet areas completely undisturbed. I believe in transparent communication and am happy to provide regular photo updates so you can see your beloved companion is happy and thriving. My commitment to reliability and respect means you can enjoy complete peace of mind, knowing both your pet and your home are in safe, caring hands.

About: My experience includes behavior modification, rehabilitation and foster care. Since I was my daughters age I have been pet sitting and working with animals and would like to share the experience I work at home everyday but Thursday. We are available for dog walking and live close to a park trail and we are looking for a family interaction. Crate services, roaming and family integrated home. We are able to walk your animals and provide check ins. I know how animals are part of the family.

“I’ve been putting off writing a review for Sally because I’m afraid she will get so busy, because of my glowing review, that she won’t have time for my dogs. 😬 Selfish, I know, but she is truly amazing and you’d be crazy not to trust her with your dogs. The thing I love most about Sally is that she takes care of my dogs the same way I do, and I know she just adores them. She takes them on a walk everyday while I’m at work and will play with them at home. She’s so kind, reliable, and trustworthy. You can’t do better than Sally!”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats throughout my whole life, as well as helped watch family/friends animals when out of town. I am great with animals! I currently work as a server here in North Liberty. I’m working most evenings during the week (for sure have all day Monday off though). My schedule is a little different every week, so I can be sure to update my schedule on here regularly. I will make your animal feel as comfortable as possible, while also having fun:) As well as treat them like they are a friend! I would love to do daycare/or boarding but I just do not have the space right now.

About: A happy pet is a happy house! They are the mainstay of our homes and caring for them gives me so much joy! I care for multiple dogs and cats as my friends and family need! I have a lot of experience with feeding, walking, playing, bathing etc.I have been in pet care for over 20 years and taken care of many pets with a variety of needs. I understand pets have their own unique personalities and need different care/attention to make them be there best! I would love to be able to care for your pet and I will gladly help give them what they need to be happy and healthy while you’re away I work full time at a tennis facility but my hours make sure that pups get morning and afternoon walks just fine! (Plus tennis balls!) I am more than willing to care for and accommodate basic pet needs as well as more complicated ones. I prefer care be written down somewhere for later reference if needed. Water will always be full and available and anything that may cause harm to your pet (wires, small or sharp objects, etc) will be out of reach or inaccessible to your pet through height/doors/secured areas.

About: I have experience with all ages and all sizes of dogs and cats. I grew up with cats and watched our neighbors dogs frequently when they were out of town. My grandparents had 2 Great Danes that I watched when they needed assistance and my fiancé has a heeler who I watch when he is at work. My favorite place is the dog park and enjoy taking my pup there whenever I can. I’m currently working part time as a nurse at Surgery Center Cedar Rapids. I am also a part time graduate school student so I am home studying when I’m not at work. Taking my dogs on walks and to the park is what I look forward to the most in my day and gives me a good excuse to take a break! I have a 2 year old blue heeler mix who loves other dogs and would love to meet yours! I live in a spacious home with a fenced in backyard and can easily crate your dog if needed. I live in a very walkable area with a couple of parks near by.

About: I always had dogs and cats on my house! Currently have 2 great cats! We have a closed backyard for cats and dogs to play with! Anytime of the week works if I am not traveling for work. Cats and dogs are welcome overnight! Most of Weekends works for us and during the week only if I don't travel. Our cats are mainly indoor but they love to be at our back yard that is fully fenced. Same for dogs! Nothing they can be harmed with in our yard and or in house. Also, we do have 2 kids that love animals! Make sure your pet like kids.

About: I have had a dog almost all my life and they have always been a passion. This summer I got the opportunity to volunteer at a dog boarding facility and learned how to care for dogs from puppy to senior and aid in medications they might need. I also got to work with the trainer and can help teach basic commands to dogs. I work full time as a nursing assistant. I can’t have any more pets myself and I would take care of your pet as if it were my very own. I will take the pet for walks, depending on weather will determine the length as well as the pet. I would also be willing to wash the pet for the client and help out in any way I could with them.

“Keira is great! She’s friendly, gentle, and responds quickly! She did a meet and greet with my dog who can be timid around new people and is now going on weekly weeks and it is going great!! Would recommend!”

About: I’ve always been an animal lover and have grown up surrounded by cats and dogs. Caring for pets has always come naturally to me! I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playing, bathing, and simply spending time with your sweet friend. I’ve also worked at a dog daycare, which gave me hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. Including pups who are shy, anxious, or need a little extra patience. I’ll do my best to create a calm and comforting environment. I’m happy to stick to their routine, give extra snuggles, or just sit with them quietly if that’s what helps them feel safe. I’ll also send regular photo and text updates so you can see how they’re doing and feel reassured while you’re away. Right now, I work part-time with a very flexible schedule. I currently work in the ICU at the U of Iowa about 24 hours a month and will soon be working an additional 8 hours a week at another hospital. I’ll also be starting nursing school in the fall, but outside of that, I’ll mainly be home and available. Whether you need help with daily care or overnight stays, I’m happy to come to your home to feed, walk, play with, or simply keep your pet company. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are my top priorities and I’ll always care for them as if they were my own.

About: I've always been passionate about dogs and can hardly remember a time when I didn't have one of these amazing, loyal companions by my side. I've been dog sitting for friends and family members for the past five years, and I've enjoyed it so much that I've decided to branch out so I can meet even more fur friends. I also do dog training/owner coaching, and I believe it's never too late to teach a dog new tricks. I work part time, and most of my work is done at home, so I'll have plenty of time to spend with my fur friends. I have a huge back yard with a 6 ft privacy fence for ample room to run and play and even a doggie pool to splash around in to stay cool. My house is a couple blocks down from the trail for my fur friends who love to go for walks to get some of that extra energy out.

Anne N.Star Sitter
“Anne understands dogs which makes her a great choice as a pet caregiver. Not only does she have two dogs of her own, but both are animals that had issues which Anne has patiently worked with, and the results are remarkable. So, if you need a tip or two with your pet, she will be glad to help as well. Her love for dogs of all kinds of breeds makes her the ultimate dog caregiver. She has taken care of my rat terrier since she was a puppy. Whenever we get close to Anne’s house, she will whine in excitement to play with her “buddies”. I highly recommend Anne as a pet sitter or dog walker.”
