“Anytime you leave your home and your pets in someone else's care, there is always this thought in the back of your head "Can I trust this person?" When it comes to Monique, the answer is "YES!" I would swear that the house looked better upon my return then it did before I left! My girl, Lucy, was super happy when we returned. Monique sent photos of Lucy playing in the yard with her dog (she asked in advance if she could bring her dog over). She did an excellent job of asking questions prior to the stay and providing communication to us while she was at our house. I will not hesitate to hire Monique to house/dog sit for us again. About: I LOVE my doggos. I have had a dog in my life since I was 4, large and medium are typically my bread and butter. I know the little dogs can be timid but I can snuggle them until they tolerate me 😬. I am a millennial dog/cat mom, so you know I love scritches, belly rubs, snuggles, and giving treat-o’s. My dog doesn’t fetch but I’ll play with yours til the cows come home! I worked for a dog groomer as the bathing attendant for two summers as a kid, so if your babies need a quick bath while I’m there, depending on how they can handle it with a new person, I am available. I’m versed in giving pets medication, so no need to worry if your pupper needs a little something to help them stay healthy! I work from home full time currently, but if I need to leave during the day to go check on your fur baby/they’re on a bathroom/medication schedule, my boss is very lenient and lets me make up time. Walks would primarily only be available in the afternoons/evenings to avoid the heat around here. I am very organized and like to write down any rules/quirks/schedules that your pet needs to be on. I’m also not afraid to ask/answer questions, so if you’re open to conversations via the app, I’m your girl! There are pet walking areas within minutes of my home that I can take your pet to, if you feel comfortable with that, or I can walk them around the neighborhood, also.

“It was so hard for me to trust a stranger with my precious boi but Leigha made it easy when I was away. She showed up a half hour early and waited in her car to make sure she was on time since I had an early flight. She sent tons of pics and videos and gave me wonderful tips and feedback from all her experience with dogs. This showed how much interest and attention she had on my little man. Most importantly, my baby loved her which was apparent in all the videos. He wasn’t stressed at all when I got home but he slept hard the next day which means he was stimulated. About: I have more than 10 years of experience working at shelters and boarding facilities. I love spending time with animals. I treat each of them like they are my own. I have on several occasions House-sat and dog sat for friends, family, and coworkers. I have a pretty open schedule right now. Currently on a job hunt. I am available basically any time with proper notice. I am happy to help as I can. My back yard fence was knocked down because of a tornado that tore through our town. I prefer for now to stay at the owners place and follow all rules needed to care for their babies.

I have skills working with special needs animals that have seizures to not having some of their limbs. I hold a special place in my heart for all fur babies. Pet care is my full time job :). I have my little dog that will probably be coming with me for animals that might need a play partner. My home is kept clean and pet friendly. All chemicals are always put up high. I supply puppy pads, kitty litter, toys while at my home.

About: I am a stay at home mom with two children. We have always been a dog family. We have a great home and time to help love on your babies too! We have a fenced in yard and lots of time to go on walks. I have a 5 year old son and 2 year old daughter. We just ask that any animal that joins our home to be able to be around children. We can bathe, walk, or cuddle any animal while you are away! We keep the animals inside! Can’t wait to meet your family! I stay home and I have open availability. We can also help on the weekends.
