About: Always joking that dogs are superior but in truthfulness love all animals. Experienced with dogs but open to providing care for other pets. Will strictly adhere to owner requests, so long as they are humane. (Furniture ok vs not allowed, food/walking schedule, treats, etc.). There will be no shortage of affection and attention, assuming the pet is receptive. Open to assisting with reactive or challenging pets. Attempting to build a trusting bond is an inherent desire. Work from home so (brief) walks, potty breaks, playtime, etc can be provided through entirety of day. Longer walks before 8am or after 5pm. Available 24/7 on weekends and holidays. Live alone so no concerns about other pets or children. Have decent sized yard but do require a leash since there is no fence. Safe, quiet, and friendly neighborhood.

“Meredith was Great! We had a few days that we had to be away from our home for a Funeral and didn't have anyone to care for our two dogs. We connected with Meredith on Rover, she came over to meet the dogs and we set up her visits while we were gone. She kept us updated and sent pics, spent some time cuddling with them at each visit! Everything we requested was taken care of and she was so sweet and attentive to their needs. We will definitely be calling on Meredith to watch our babies!!”

About: I have spent lots of time with a family dog and have been a sitter for several breeds over the years, often through friends and family. I am always over the moon to meet and spoil (to the owners comfort) a new furry freind! I am currently a graduate student which allows me the flexibility to schedule quality walks and play time with your pups! I typically work from home 50% of the work week, so getting out for a walk in between computational work is a win win! As a dog walker I will make sure your pup has a positive high quality walking experience. About: I have always had dogs growing up and I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. About: I have had a dog since I was 12. I also have taken care of neighbors and family members dogs for them. Puppies are always fun, but the older ones are always looking for love. So I work 8am till 5pm. If anyone would need me to look after their pets from 6am till 7:30am I could do that. And any time after 5pm I could care for your pets on the days I am available. So I do not have a fenced in yard. But my Boxer and Frenchton have learned to walk on a leash. My Boxer loves going for walks and chasing any toy that we throw! The Frenchton likes to stay cool and play indoors, with the cats we have.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, and other pets. I’ve pet sat for more than 20 years and love getting to spend time with fur babies I work full time (8:30-5) and would be able to stop by over lunch to do a potty break. After work we play and cuddle! I make sure the pets are contained safely, per the owners instructions. I’m familiar with in ground fences, shock collars, and leash walking. I’m comfortable crating if that’s what the dogs are used to.

About: I’ve taken care of animals pretty much my whole life. I started out walking dogs around the neighborhood and moved my way up to training bullmastiffs with my family. We have had bullmastiffs for a few years now and I absolutely adore big dog breeds! I would love to take care of your animals for you!! I’m currently a student at Virginia tech so I will have free time in between classes and a majority of the day! My schedule is pretty flexible however you may need! I can feed, play with, brush, bathe, walk, run, whatever your pets may need, I can do for them and for you to make your life easier!

About: I've grown up around critters of all types, including cats and dogs—big and small—and truly love being around animals. I currently care for my sweet senior dog, Diamond, a Maltese-Yorkie mix, so I understand the special attention older pets need. I also have experience caring for a blind dog. I'm also very active and love going on walks or playing outside, so your pet will get plenty of exercise and attention. I'm very mindful about securing doors and gates, and I have experience slipping in and out carefully so curious pets don’t sneak out. I also double-check locks and can crate your dog if needed. About: I've been house sitting for friends and family since I was 12. It allowed me to supplement my income and work with the animals that I have loved since a young age. I was a vet tech in high school and during the first few summers in college, gaining small animal medicine and husbandry experience. In addition, I worked at a two different doggy day cares throughout my graduate and undergrad degrees, gaining a lot more experience with dogs and a little bit of dog training. Both of these degrees are also in animal science. I love pets of all kinds and have looked after everything from horses to dogs and cats, to birds. I am new to the area as a recent Penn State hire and don’t have established contacts for dog sitting like I did in the areas that I lived for my degrees. I work full-time but have a fair amount of flexibility to work remotely up to 3 or 4 days a week. If you have a stable wifi connection I will be more available to spend time with your pups although there may still be some days I need to be gone for work for up to 8 hours. I am willing to stay with your pets overnight if that is your preference. I will not be boarding dogs as my landlord does not allow pets. I am respectful of your home and space and treat your pets as I would my own!

About: My motto is that it's my responsibility to make sure that each dog under my care is HAPPY and SAFE. Every day that I'm with your pup, I keep that motto at the forefront of my mind. I know how important dogs are to our lives, so it's my duty to make sure that your pup gets to experience the same kind of love and care that they're used to at home. I'm a huge dog lover, so making pups as happy as I can, just comes second nature for me! When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It's a great way to make sure that we're all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it's always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I'm a welcome presence here to make friends, and I'm sure we'll be best buddies in no time at all. I know how difficult it is to be away from your best friend, so communication is the name of my game. I'll make sure to send plenty of regular updates with accompanying pictures so you can see just how much fun your pup and I are having! I’m hoping to make Rover a full-time career! Although I'm unable to watch your pups at my home, I'll make sure they're safe at yours! I make sure I understand the pups needs, routine, and any specific care instructions provided by you, the owner. This includes feeding, providing fresh water, ensuring their environment is safe and clean, exercising them, and administering medications or treatments if required.

About: I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember. Family and friends always relied on me to take care of their pets while they were away. I’m a cat and dog person. Currently I work part time at a nursing home as a caregiver. I’m available in the late afternoons most days. Most weekends I’m available late morning and early afternoons. I have a underground fence, harnesses, and seatbelts as well as a hammock for in the car. I keep close eye on them. Never leave them out of sight

About: I’m a dog groomer and I have been certified in pet cpr through the grooming trainer center! I’ve been doing this for two years and have a golden retriever of my own, she just turned five. I’m working full time but can come after I’m done and before I go in! I have off every other Saturday, sundays and mondays. Very flexible! When I take your dog out I will always have it on a leash, I will always make sure it has water and whatever else you need me to do!

About: I’ve had dogs as long as I can remember. Currently have 2 Coton De Tulears plus four alpacas, three bee hives, and over 125 birds (poultry). I work remote so my schedule is flexible. Prefer to be able to coordinate directly to ensure the best care for your pets. I’m very flexible. I’m a big fan of treating pets like they’re my own.
