“Stephanie was amazing with our not so easy pups. She made our daycation relaxing and stress free! We got pictures and updates all day long. Would highly recommend!”

“Our dog Bear had an amazing time with Daniel and Rachel! He loved playing with their dogs, and he even got to enjoy some homemade doggy birthday cake during his stay! Daniel and Rachel were great about sending us photos, and they let us change his pick up time when we came home from our trip early. We will definitely use them for dog sitting in the future!”

“Hayley did a great job taking care of my dog. She kept me updated with messages and pictures throughout his stay. Not only was she great with my pet, but also did an amazing job communicating with me especially being flexible when I needed some help. I would love her to take care of my dog again.”

“April is hands down the best sitter my pup Leo and I have ever had! Her yard is so amazing for running and playing. Her doggo Ollie is the sweetest and so friendly. April and her family truly treated Leo like family. I received so many fun pictures of Leo being spoiled and playing both inside and outside. I never worried about my pup while I was on vacation. April did a phenomenal job communicating and sharing what Leo was up too each day! I feel so lucky we found her and will be using her in the near future!”

“Savannah was awesome! She kept me up to date with both pictures and videos. My husband and I both commented on how nice it was to take Sylvie to Savannah's home, compared to a boarding kennel. She got a lot more love, attention and care and came home smelling great too!”

“Amanda and her husband were absolutely wonderful! They were both so kind and welcoming, and we felt completely comfortable leaving Charlie in their care. It was clear he was well taken care of and had such a great time with them. He was so happy when we picked him up! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely trust them with Charlie again. Highly recommend!!”

“Kristen was amazing with our Koko. She was always updating us on her day. She liked being there so much that she did not have her usual excitement upon seeing us. I'm so glad we found her and we will definitely be using her when we need to be away. She also got along really well with Kristen's fur babies.”

“Kaylee did a wonderful job with our elderly dog, Lucy! We appreciated the pictures of Lucy that were sent to us during her stay there. I highly recommend Kaylee. Thank you!!!”

“My best friend Bernie… And energetic and very social beagle… spent a lovely six days with Zachary and his dogs. He was sad to go home, which made ME feel kind of bad but at least I know he had a good time! Zachary was an excellent communicator, and offered photos of Bernie during his stay. Large fenced yard.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. We always had a dog or two growing up along with a few cats throughout the years. Star was a 14 year old lab mix rescue that we had since she was 4 months old, who passed in February 2023. I have a 9 year old Blue Healer, Bella, and a 10 year old Rottweiler, Layla who passed away in August 2023. They are like my children even though I have 3 children who range in age from 15-23. I walk Bella, take her to the lake or the dog park or to walk around any of our local parks but she doesn’t like to go as far in her older years. I am on a schedule with giving medication to my pets along with treats and regular brushing. Star would only play with me with a tennis ball and Layla would play with anyone but only with a specific toy so I am well versed in picky dogs. Star also slept in bed with me but Layla preferred her crate even after she was trained, she just enjoyed her own space and would go in it when she is ready for bed. Bella rotates and sleeps with one of us each night. Addison is my middle child and has gone with me for the last couple of years and earned the trust of many of my clients to fill in for me when I am not available. She is a senior at Fitch and is going to attend Slippery Rock in the fall. I will let you know if she will need to assist in any of the visits prior to accepting your request. We do a meet and greet with the two of us to ensure that your pet is comfortable with us prior to finalizing any visits. That is a little about us and our experience. I hope you will give us the opportunity to care for your special family members. I recently made a change in my career. I am a flight attendant for Breeze Airways out of Akron Canton Airport. This has been an amazing journey and opened up my schedule to care for animals again. I will keep my schedule updated for my availability for the current month and my schedule for the following month is released on the 15th. If you are planning ahead please let me know the dates and times your furbabies would need me and I’ll be able to request it off. My life would not be the same without the tail wags and purrs of your favorite animals 🐾 Caring for your pet in your home will be done according to your instructions. I will treat them with all the love and respect as if they were my own but follow your guidelines for care. That will include walks, playtime, feeding schedules, treats and or any special medications or care needed. If I should need to crate your pet for safety to transport them at your request I can do that as well. Your pets safety and comfort will always be a number one priority. If you are interested in house sitting and will need me to be in the home continuously for more than 6 hours or to stay overnight please message me to discuss as this could affect your rate. I do have multiple customers that rebook for the same day and time each week or month so I do apologize if I am not available on your first request. I have never had an issue with safety, trust or environment when it comes to any part of my life. I do currently board animal in my home on a limited basis depending on the dog and my schedule during that requested boarding time. I use a hands free leash with a bungee to make walks more comfortable for the dogs and safer when I am cleaning up after them on walks. I do prefer they use a harness and I have had great success with reforming dogs that would pull during walks to now pleasant walkers just by positive reinforcement. Entry and exit to your home is done according to your needs. I have clients that do it many different ways and your comfort and safety along with that of your pet is always a priority.
“Connie is Wonderful!!!! She gave me updates and pictures. Her dog was the perfect playmate for my dog. I felt confident leaving my dog with her because she has tons of experience with dogs. She is a trainer, a groomer and very active in the dog world. She is perfectly set up to handle multiple dogs. She has a nice fenced in, shaded backyard that is very private. It makes for a great doggie playground. My dog's stay was a totally positive experience. I would definitely book with Connie again. You can tell...Connie truly loves dogs!!! I can't say enough about her!!!”

“Nicole made the whole boarding process so easy. Dixie was comfortable and relaxed (Nicole updated us regularly with photos) which in turn helped us relax and enjoy our time away. We 100% recommend Nicole R!!”

“Cornelia was so very helpful and welcoming to our dog. She allowed a last-minute booking with changes in the time of pick up. Was so quick to respond with each message sent as things were changing on our end several times. Not only that, but Cedi, our dog was loved and well-cared for during her stay. I don't have to worry. That is re-assuring to me.”

“Debbie was very good with Rocket! We met ahead of time so he could meet her and her dog Oscar and I could tell he’d be in good hands. She sent lots of pictures of him and kept us updated on what they were up to (playing, going to the park, on walks…). SO much better than a kennel/pet lodge where he’d have spent 90% of the time alone in a room.”

“Our dogs can get easily stressed when away from home. When I picked them up from Madison's, they looked relaxed. They were excited to see me but also very much at ease at Madison's which was great to see. I am very glad we know Madison now and look forward to her caring for our boys again!”
“Amazing, responsive and so helpful! Thank you Jeanne for caring for our Sadie and Sterling and for bringing them to our venue for photos on our wedding day! We are so grateful for you and that you made it possible to have our babies at our special day!”

“Kelly was so great with squishy! She took such good care of her and sent us pictures every day. She made sure to follow everything! My puppy even cried when we were leaving Kelly’s house after picking her up!”

“Mindy was great with our Sadie! Sadie is a recue/rehome from a breeder and has never been boarded before. Mindy bonded with Mindy and did very well with her. We could not have been happier! The Sbaraglias”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
