“I have a 2 yr old border collie mix, high energy and cautious around new people. Rocio was so gentle and loving that my dog liked her right away! Rocio took my dog on a woodland trail and never had an issue with her, they found an open meadow and played fetch. By the time they got back my dog didn't want to get out of the car and whined when Rocio finally left. Best dog walker ever!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my experience with high energy dogs! My entire life, I have owned border collies and am used to needy, high maintenance dogs. I also raised and trained my family's two current dogs from puppies during the pandemic. I also had consistent repeat customers while in high school, ranging from pomeranians to bernese mountain dogs! I am currently a student and have a pretty flexible schedule. During the summer, I will have a completely open schedule, considering my other job is a desk job for a few days a week during the daytime. I have experience with both crate-trained dogs and dogs that refuse crates. Whether you have a fenced-in yard or not, I would always be outside when your dog is! When I am petsitting, I try my hardest to make sure your pet is in my line of sight all the time.

About: I am an MSW student and small business owner who has been in Luzerne County for a little over two years. As a pet owner, I know how stressful it can be to leave your furry family members behind when you're away. I bring over 30 years of pet ownership experience with me when I come to care for your pets. I love hiking and exploring the outdoors and also love a day on the couch watching movies. I have issues hitting a 10 mile trail with an energetic dog or spending the day watching Star Wars with a docile cat. I have a dog and a cat of my own and nothing in the world makes me happier than spending time with them. I am excited to bring the same energy to your dogs and cats! I am open and available and have a very flexible schedule. Currently working a 9-5, Monday through Friday, but can work remote when needed. As of June of 2024 I will be leaving my current role to focus on pet care and to on my business. I am basically available 24/7. I understand how tough it can be to invite a stranger into your home to care for your pets. As a pet owner myself, my aim is to follow your precise instructions and make sure all of your pet's needs are met. My dog is getting up there in age and requires daily oral medication. She also isn't a fan of taking her pills. I am no stranger to coming up with inventive ways of getting my pets to take their medicine.

About: I believe pets are part of the family and should be treated that way. I have had many pets and love their companionship and have also included them in my daily routine I’m currently unemployed after 34 years with the same employer, I am dependable and experienced as evidenced by the amount of dedicated service to my former employer. I am responsible and really enjoy the outdoors and including my dog in daily activities outside We walk our German Shepherd daily and play with her in the yard. I have 2 cats as well that love to cuddle . We spoil them!

About: I grew up having all kinds of pets from dogs to squirrels and rabbits. About: I’ve loved animals since I have little. I had 4 dogs growing up and now have three of my own. I love working with all breeds. I have a German Shepard, a cavachon and a poodle mix. I am currently home full time. I can be available for you for baby whenever it is needed. I have open availability and am looking forward to working with you! I have a fenced in yard and three dogs that are animal friendly. We allow animals on our furniture and to sleep in bed with us. We are an animal loving family and will treat your pet like our own.

About: I’ve been a dog lover my entire life and I got the privilege of having my own dog for 12 years. After her passing I spent a year living on a dog rescue, taking care of rez dogs. I’m patient and confident in my abilities to take care of your animals I work Monday-Friday 9-4. I host a support group several times a month, which would require me to work until 7pm. Otherwise I’m pretty flexible and don’t have many demands on my schedule Structured routines. Consistent walks and lots of cuddles. I’m an early bird, so I start my day getting the animals taken care of, then get ready

About: I have taken care of pets my entire life, my pap had hunting dogs and we’ve had dogs in the house as long as I can remember. Pets and animals are my passion. I am recently unemployed and can watch dogs any weekday and occasionally the weekend but I’d be more than willing to discuss hours that you need and am more than willing to work with you. I have two very friendly dogs of my own, however I prefer watching them in your home, I love to go for walks myself so I can take them on plenty and I usually take my dogs out to go to the bathroom every hour.

About: I go for long walks on a daily basis and thoroughly enjoy the outdoors. I am nurturing and caring by nature which would spill over in my care for your canine family member. I am also patient and willing to work with challenging or sensitive dogs. Interested in working with a dog owner that concisely communicates all the needs of their canine companion so that this experience can be beneficial for ALL parties involved, particularly your dog. I have taken care of my friend's cat and dog (she's a veterinarian) for a number of years and have enjoyed the interaction and the dynamics of the relationship between her animals. I can be energetic and playful as well with your animal as well as cuddly and loving when I sense that is there particular desire. I am available during my lunch hour daily to assist with short walks. As I am a remote worker I can cater my lunch to my needs on most days. I would ask the owner for explicit instructions on how to keep the animal safe regarding allergies or triggers for the pet. I also believe in giving pet owners concise accounts of my experience with their animal and pictures during our interactions.
