About: Hi! My name is Carissa, I am a recent graduate from the University of South Carolina. I'm originally from Pennsylvania! I’ve lived in downtown Eugene, OR ; Miami, FL ; Columbia, SC ; and now Georgia! I’ve hosted and have had multiple house visits with other dogs and cats! I’ve watched dogs ranging from a mini daschund to a great pyrenees! I grew up with a golden retriever and 2 cats, and now my family in Pennsylvania just lost our pitbull blue heeler mix (she was my absolute best friend). Some of my favorite hobbies include: reading, eating, taking photos, binge watching shows, and exercising. I've done daily walks for a dachshund while living in Miami, have hosted a bunch in Oregon, I had a weekly dog I’d daycare for and other bookings in Georgia, as well as my repeat pups and cats from Columbia! I have a little (lol) pup of my own! We rescued her from the shelter back in September, and she truly has become my soul dog. You can view her info on my profile I am pretty sure- she’s a pitbull Great Dane! Please send me a message and I will get back very quickly if I can or can’t! My schedule is fairly flexible- I do work full time. I do work full-time, but we can talk schedules to see how flexible I can be that week! I obviously have a dog of my own, but my bf and I usually have alternating schedules to adhere to her! (He’s also available on his off days if you’re comfortable to do what’s needed for a drop in/walk) I am currently not accepting any boarding because I am renting with my boyfriend until we can move into a house of our own! I am very watchful of pets because I want only the best for them and the peace of mind for you. Leash always outside, very mindful of surroundings, I do not let your dogs interact with others (even if you say its okay- its more of a personal thing I don't like to do). If you’d like for our dogs to meet and see if they mesh well for play dates- I’d love to chat about it!
About: Your pet's new best friend just logged in! I’m the kind of sitter who sends cute pics, sings made-up songs about your pet’s life, and still makes sure they get their meds in and their zoomies out. Reliable, caring, and slightly obsessed with good boys and girls of all kinds. 🐾 Right now, I am flexible on all week days as well as weekends for pet walking, pet care, and quality time with your furry companion(s). When booking, know that I care for pets in their own homes, sticking to their normal schedule; providing care, attention, and lots of quality playtime.
About: Hi, im Stephanie. I've taken care of animals my entire life. I've worked alongside rescues, boarding facilities and also pet sitting for friends and family. I love that I can be the one pet owners can count on to show their beloved pets the love they deserve when they can't be there. For as long as I can remember I have always wanted to work with animals. While working at a boarding facility I was able to provide care for a variety of dogs and cats. I am able to do basic training (sit, stay, down, wait, and leash manners ect...). I am comfortable giving medication and or special accommodations for your pet. I am currently available with a very flexible schedule to help you with your pets needs. I am able to do drop ins and walks at this time. Safety and precaution are extremely important to me. I am very aware of my surroundings at all times while out and while in the home. Your pet will be protected as my own.
About: Hello! I'm Emily. I've been an animal lover my entire life and have always been responsible for animals of all kinds. I currently have three cats and a dog, but I have experience with dogs, cats, birds, sugar gliders, frogs, fish, and crabs to name a few. I'm currently working freelance, so I have all sorts of time to help with your pets, at this time I have completely open availability, just message to book Animal safety is my number one priority, so nothing that is supposed to stay put will get in, and nothing that's supposed to stay in will go out. Dogs taken out for walks/potty breaks will be constantly supervised and on a leash.
“Hannah is such a great and reliable dog walker! She was great about communicating and sending updates and has always given plenty of notice if something came up to change the schedule on any day. Two thumbs way up!!”
About: I started taking care of dogs at the young age of 9, wether it was my friends, neighbors, or my own! From bringing them on walks to having to give medicine hourly, I would love to take care of your dog!! I’m a college student and a part time worker but have more free time then you would think! This gives me a lot of time to play and take care of your dogs! I love going on walks so those are a huge activity when boarding either at my house or the clients. I have a crate if needed to crate, I have no other animals so if your dog isn’t friendly with other dogs no worries here!
About: I am very reliable and have a ton of experience with different dogs. I’ve worked in a doggy daycare and I am also very experienced with administering medications to animals. I recently became a stay at home mom since my son is starting kindergarten soon so my schedule is a lot more open now! ❤️ Your pets deserve all the attention and the care they need! I will follow all your instructions as given for your pet and or your home if you wish to have any messes cleaned up while on site.
About: Benji was given to me as a 17th birthday present and I was so happy to have him because I've always wanted a dog since I was 8 years old. When we got him, his previous owner was starving and kicking him; he weighed only 6 pounds and he was full of anxiety due to the abuse. After a few months with me and my family, he gained a pound and a half and was full of life! I've taken care of him for about 8 years now and he's never had any health issues in his 13 years of life! He's old but still moves and acts like a young pup! I am currently working part-time as a behavior technician, working with children on the autism spectrum and those with other behavior/developmental delays. I am available roughly 4 days out of the week during the day and I am available for 5 nights a week. My home is fenced in with about an acre and a half of land in the backyard. I will take of care of uour baby, just how I take care of mine! Benji is bathed and brushed weekly, food and water is available whenever he is hungry, he is given one bacon treat every night and playtime is roughly 30-60mins a day depending on the age, stamina, and energetic needs of the dog.
About: I have had dogs since 2013. I had three, I currently have two. One of them had epilepsy, this gave me experience with seizures and administering medicine. I also worked at a doggy day care for 1 year, there I cared for large groups of dogs. We fed them, changed out water 4-5 times a day, picked up after them and played with them. I'm knowledgeable about dog behavior and how to avoid situations that would be harmful. I know to test the pavement heat before a walk on hot days. I'm currently seeking steady employment but am wanting to make this my steady job. I'm available during the week from six am to 5 pm I'm currently unable to pet sit in my home. I'm more than happy to pet sit in the dogs/cats home that makes the pets more comfortable as well since it's not a strange house with strange smells. I'm more than happy to drop in or stay for awhile. I enjoy taking walks and it's always good to have a friend (your pet) with me.
“Jada is so wonderful with my dog! She really goes the extra mile and keeps you updated along the way! I highly recommend her. You can be assured that your pup will be in good hands!”

About: I love all animals and even have a dog of my own name zora. I've worked in grooming shops and even ran one for about 10 days straight which included boarding (with cat's and dog's), doggy day, care and even washing dogs. It was one of the best jobs I've ever had because I got to play with dogs and help them learn tricks and made sure they had food and fresh water and clean kennels and if meds given on time. I walked them and and played with them too and I felt better knowing there in good care as I know there is a lot of bad care. I would love to take care of your pup's and cat's while your away or on vacation and even walk them or drop in's too. I've done a lot of training with my pup and grew up with animals as my mom runs a grooming shop and so did my aunt plus the grooming shop I worked at that I grew up around called Sam and boos. I also worked there until I had to go back to school in another county. I would truly love to help! I am home everyday and have plenty of time to spend on caring for all the babies I have 2 of my own Zora and Zelda standard poodles that I love to spend time with and take for walk! Your babies are my full focus! My pets have the best life I could provide for them they are my main priority I own fish hermit crabs and 2 dogs! I would give your pets the same care I give mine! My animals always have fresh water there meals on time or how ever there feeding schedules are! I make sure they are comfortable happy and healthy and safe! I do crate my dogs when I leave for short periods so I know they are safe!
About: I have been caring for a variety of pets ranging from cats and dogs to rodents and horses since I was 12 years old. Since then I have fully trained my own dog to do basic tasks but also to “find” things (such as an inhaler for my mom) and stand with her back to my calves if we are in crowded areas. I am always learning new ways to better care for pets and new tricks for my own dog! I have just graduated from university so I am currently searching for a full-time job in my field. That means for now I am completely free to help out with pets whether that means walking, drop in visits, or house sitting. If I am coming over to housesit I will likely be at the house for the majority of the day and stay over at night too (or whatever the owner requests.) I am completely flexible and open to negotiation.
“DeAndre is dependable, trustworthy, and caring. He goes the extra mile to ensure our pups are well taken care of at all times. He provides photo updates and notes about his walks and visits. I highly recommend him and will continue to book with him.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
