“Naji is a caring, loving, let dogs be dogs kind of person— perfect for my Aurora! Aurora made instant friends with Naji’s two dogs and was worn out (in a good way) by the end of her stay.”

Katie H.

“Katie is a fantastic sitter ! She was very patient with my pup ? it was his first time staying in a stranger’s home. When I came to pick him up he looked so happy and energetic! She sent me multiple updates with pictures throughout the day which eased my nerves and worries. I will be using her again!!!”

Susan C.

“Eula had a blast with John, Susan, the boys, and especially Hundley and the other dog who was part of daycare today. She’s a high energy cattle dog mix who loves playing with other dogs, and she was so content when she left and is now (at 630pm) sleeping like a rock. John was so communicative about how she was doing, sending photos, and his observations of her. I will definitely be booking another day next week. Thanks you guys!”

Noreen Y.
“Noreen was great! She looked after our pup on Christmas Eve at short notice and took great care of him and sent a bunch of picture updates during the day.”

James K.

“I was very nervous to leave my dog with someone for the first time but James exceeded my expectations he was very attentive to my dogs needs and sent me updates. My dog can be a handful but James was amazing. He was great and friendly and highly recommend!”

Bailey M.
“5 stars — Bailey took AWESOME care of my two dogs while I was out of town earlier this year. I really have a hard time trusting people with my dogs, but as soon as I met Bailey I knew she treated her dogs as good as I treat mine, so I had no concerns my whole trip. Her house is also set up perfectly for dog sitting, and I know my babies loved hanging out with her sweet little pugs all day too! Anytime I leave town now, I ask Bailey to watch my dogs.”

Tamela E.
“Tamlea has been my best friend for 2 years. They are an avid animal lover and advocate. In the time that I have known them, they have basically only worked in animal care. They treat every animal like their own. I had the pleasure of voluntering alongside them at an animal shelter they worked at, observing first hand the passion that they have for the job. Also, their own dog Wendy is the best trained and sweetest girl I know. If you want a trustworthy person who is trained in animal care, Tamela is who you want!”

Alex B.

“We were on KC for the weekend and needed care for our boxer puppy. Alex was professional and has great communication. Would use again if in town.”

About: I’ve lived with 3 dogs since I was in high school over 10 years ago and share a dog, Charlie, with my former partner, but he doesn’t live with me. I love animals and pride myself on being reliable for great care for your pet. I work from home currently so will have plenty of time to dedicate to your pets and host at a restaurant for 4-5 hours at a time a few days per week, but pets are welcome if that’s too long of a gap! I don’t have any pets and live in a very walkable neighborhood with a dog park less than a block from me for dedicated play time and potty breaks.

Beth F.

“Beth was amazing with my puppy! 10/10 recommend.”

“Stephanie is absolutely great with animals! I trust her to care for my dog just like I would. My dog gets so excited when Stephanie comes over, she knows that means lots of extra belly scratches and cuddles for the day. There is no one else I would rather have watch my dog while I am away. You will not be disappointed if you choose Stephanie to care for your pet!”

About: I’ve had a dog since I was 3 years old. I LOVE dogs. I’m 32 with no kids so my 13 year old Jack has filled that void in my life. Dogs are special gifts to every owner. Loyal, kind, caring, compassionate, they couldn’t be created better! I’ve owned small dogs like chihuahuas and my terrier. I’ve had a medium High energy Aussie and my sisters owned Grate Dane Mastiff mix’s that are horse size. I’ve cared for and loved them all. My family and friends always rely on me to take care of their babies while they’re away because they know I will love them just as they do and will follow instructions and take care of all their needs I’m currently serving part time so usually only 4 hours in the evenings if I do work, my schedule changes each week. I like at least a days notice to plan and prepare my day in advance. I have my own dogs so I always make sure he’s taken care of and I will do the same for yours. I work a short distance from home and it’s very flexible. I live in a townhouse so no stairs for any of the pups that struggle with that. I also have an open patio in the back with lots of grass and trees so if they need let out frequently I have 2 runners attached to the patio. It’s a beautiful spacious backyard. I can of crate them if preferred or not as well. I love to cuddle them. Also I have toys galore for the dogs to play with, treats, and activities for rainy days like puzzles and hiding toys or treats for them to find. I will always provide pictures throughout the stay or visit and videos. They will be treated like family and I will to sure to pick up toys and clean the back yard if needed.

We were pretty nervous about trying Rover, but you exceeded all our expectations and cannot wait to continue working with you. Really appreciated getting photos and updates of him and excellent communication too.”

Rachel K.

About: Ive gained my experience working with dogs of all size from my previous jobs, I've worked for Dog pawz(westport) and Noah's ark animal clinic as kennel attendants, as well as Woof's Stay and Play as a bath tech and pack leader The Pack leaders and Kennel Attendant's duty is to walk the pets, feed and clean up their kennel area as well as giving medication when required. I've also taken care of other pets outside of work when mom/dad are away or when they are just too busy to take their dogs for walks. Also I am interested in becoming a groomer and what better way to expand my knowledge on dogs than to work with them! The more experience the better! Currently, I am working at a new doggy daycare in Leawood and I'm usually surrounded by in average 60-100+dogs. A typical day for you pet will look like a whole lot of loving and play time with toys and long walks if the weather permits. I really love animals and just being around them brings me such joy and excitement.

About: I’ve been taking care of my own pets for a decade and love playing and interacting with them. I try to make a comfortable environment for them to live safely and happily. I’m a teacher on summer break who loves staying home with my own dog and cats and happy to help take care of yours when you need it! Fenced yard was the first addition we made when moving in because I know how important it is for dogs to get some unrestrained outdoor time. Plenty of rooms and lounging spots. My pets can be secluded if needed for a stress-free stay. My partner occasionally works from home and loves dogs as well so your pet will have a bonus person to play with :)
