We're planning to use Kirsten for more day care and overnight stays in the future!”

He had ample space to run and play. She also made sure Mike socialized with several other friendly dogs, and he even made a new buddy! Anna kept us updated with plenty of photos and videos, which made us feel at ease knowing Mike was having a great time. At the end of the day, Mike was tired but very happy, a clear sign of the fun and exercise he enjoyed. About: I have been a pet owner since 2011 but a dog lover for life! Currently, my dog Abby and I are a Pet Partners Registered Therapy Dog Team. I currently work full time from home. I have two young children, under the age of 12, that attend school daily from September to June. We attend events on weekday evenings, but are home most of the day. We have a fully fenced yard! We currently have two Australian Labradoodles (ages 5 (f) and 2(m)) in our home. They both are great with other dogs and are very spoiled! Our dogs sleep on our bed but we can accommodate crate trained dogs as well. Must be good with kids, as we have 2 under 12!

The two questions i get the most are am I home all day with the dogs and how many dogs do you watch at one time? I am retired so except for running errands, etc, your dog(s) will be supervised at all times.I DO watch dogs from different households at the same time, having had as many as 8 Rover dogs at once If this is a concern I invite you to come down and meet us, to see how mellow and manageable it is, and how happy the dogs are to be in the company of other dogs. I never watch a dog without meeting it first so this ensures that everyone gets along and it's a good fit. My mom runs a no-kill animal shelter in Florida so I guess you could say it's in my blood. I currently have 2 dogs (the last dog i adopted was from an elderly Rover client who could no longer take care of him) but i've had as many as 4 at one time. Always small dogs, which is what I'm most comfortable with. I've adopted, loved and cared for dogs through all their stages of life, in "sickness and in health", so I'm quite aware of the quirkiness that comes with a dog that has a history. At the moment I’m not boarding puppies because my older dogs can’t handle all the high energy of the youngsters. Nothing brings me more joy than watching these little dogs come out of their shell during the stay. Their tail going from tucked, unsure, "what am I doing here", to full wag! Many owners have told me that when they get to the top of my hill their dog starts getting excited, they know they're coming to my house and they are happy about it. They march right up my steps with zero hesitation. They might not sleep with us on day one, but they almost always find their way into the bed by the time they leave. My goal is to have them feel like one of the pack, loved and secure, safe and happy. I recently retired after 40+ years in the hospitality industry so I will be home with your dog(s) day and night. There's nothing i love more than being in the company of dogs, so watching them is my passion. I will treat your dog(s) like my own. I live in the Arroyo's, a private beach neighborhood in Arbor Heights, West Seattle. I have a gate on the front door so the dogs can't run out if the door opens, though there's hardly any traffic where I live. I have a fully fenced in backyard, perfect for potty breaks and sunbathing. Your dog will never be left unattended in the yard .Inside I have dog beds throughout the house that move with the sunspot. I have cameras to watch the dogs when i'm not home (spoiler alert, they sleep), and WE HAVE AC!

I have a pretty flexible schedule and I can ensure potty breaks whenever needed. I am home most of the time and leave only for a couple hrs or less. About: I've also had dogs for most of my life, but I think I really gained a love and understanding with my own dog I got 2.5 years ago as a puppy. Raising a puppy has given me a whole new appreciation for dog training and having a well-behaved puppy! I haven't done much senior care of dogs, but I have worked in human Healthcare and always had a special appreciation of older patients who required certain care, so it's not outside of my realm of comfort to provide extra care. I also understand that when training dogs you need to maintain consistency and as long as your commendas/needs are expressed, I will uphold those standards for you. I am not currently working so I have a lot of flexibility in my day to provide care. Currently I manage my own dog with walks, food, potty breaks, and enrichment every day. When my husband is gone for work I manage the feeding, enrichment, and litter box cleaning for our cat as well. I have a fenced yard and access to dogs parks as well as live in a quiet neighborhood for adequate walks. My home does have stairs that are required for access, but we have lots of beds and couches for pups to get comfy on. I also have plenty of toys and treats for enrichment. We have a large koi pond in the yard, so dogs staying with us do need to have good enough recall to be called away from the pond, they should not want to jump in at sight. In the client's home I'm willing to play/provide enrichment, training, and walks in the neighborhood, or whatever the normal routine is.
