“Alora was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend! I dropped my Mollie girl off so I could go do some hiking at Lassen Volcanic National Park and it was the first time I’ve used River for Mollie. I’m not from the area so I was nervous about leaving her with someone I didn’t know. We did a short meet and greet the night before and I knew she would be great! My doggo is a little nervous and shy on new situations and with new people and Alora took care of her needs and showed her extra special attention she needed to feel comfortable. If I’m ever in the area again I will definitely use her again! If you’re here for just a day or need her more regularly, I highly recommend! Her attention to detail is amazing!”

I then got my own dogs for the last 13 years but they have recently both passed away; so I am looking to spend time with other dogs to fulfill my cuddle time. I have experience with reactive dogs and administering medicine. I am detail-oriented, responsible, and very meticulous with following instructions. I will treat your dogs as if they are my own. I work a desk job from home, so I will be with your pets as much as you would like me to be. I am open to mid-day drop-ins, overnight stays, doggy day-care, or walks. About: I grew up on a farm, so animals have always been part of my world—feeding chickens before breakfast, brushing horses after school, and getting covered in dog hair in between! I’ve looked after everything from bouncy puppies to mellow senior dogs, and I’ve always had an easy, natural connection with animals. They seem to sense that I’m one of the good ones. “Pachi had an AMAZING time with Rachel and her dogs. In fact, he and Daisy became best buddies for the day. Rachel was able to do a last minute booking and was so kind and patient and helpful for our first experience on Rover. She made sure Pachi ate, got to the dog park, had enough potty breaks, had enough toys, and got enough naps. Pachi was so happy (and worn out) that he didn't want to leave. Rachel sent frequent updates and pictures; she hayd a great heart and is very good with animals! Well be back...”

About: I’ve always loved animals and felt I have a connection with them. I’ve had cats since I was a little girl, we rescued a kitten named Willow in August. She is best friends with our Border Collie/ Australian Shepard Lola, who loves to play! I’ve pet sat for friends and family growing up and would love to help out families with their furry loved ones! I work from home every day, and will be available always. I do occasionally travel and spend nights away from home camping so I just need a few days notice of care! I have a fenced in back yard that is large enough to run around in and we have a 3 year old border collie/Australian Shepard mix who is high energy. We also have a 6 month old kitten who is also high energy and loves to play with our dog Lola. We live in a residential neighborhood and walks avoid main streets!

About: My 3 pups are my world. I have a 2 yr old teacup shih tzu, a 4 year old shih tzu and a 13 yr old shih tzu. I understand pets at all stages of life. I specialize in small breed but I have cared for all. I am comfortable administering meds as I’ve done it for my senior. I have no issue with special needs pups as my mini required a lot of special specific care through puppy stage and still in day to day life. I’m comfortable with doggie diapers, crates, litter boxes/robots, leash aggression, playpens, securing halters, multiple dogs on walks, “accidents” etc You will relax and feel comfortable while you’re away knowing I will make sure your baby is safe and well taken care of whether it’s within my house or I am visiting yours. I communicate very thoroughly and seek answers and information when needed. I am able to make good judgment calls as well as capable & equipped to figure out the unexpected. :) I live in a “tiny home” in the forest - I have doggie steps to get on the couch / bed - my pups have 2 outdoors decks to hang out and play on as well as an outdoor playpen, run and tons of toys and doggie beds. Extremely dog friendly home. I currently work from home with my 3 shih tzu pups, so I will have the flexibility to make sure your pup is a priority and the availability to communicate throughly when needed. Flexible for changes. I want you to feel comfortable while you’re away. I know how stressful it can be leaving your loved one. As you can see from my photos my husband and I take our pups everywhere - I feel anxious when I have to leave them with someone else and really only have a select few I feel I can trust. I want to be that for you. My house revolves around my 3 small pups. I understand the importance of setting pups up in an environment for success and making sure they are safe. It is my duty to protect them in all aspects as I have and I will continue.

About: Please note: I do not provide services to those who use choke chains, prong collars, electronic shock collars, or any other aversive dog training tool. While walking your dog, I will always make sure that safety is a priority. I will only walk routes approved by the owner and will make sure yo update you with pictures. I currently have open availability and can do any day and time for drop offs and pick ups for boarding and day care visits. If you would like me to pick up you pup, I require an additional fee of $25 I strictly follow the owner’s expectations for how to care for their pet. It is important to me that when the owners leave their pets in my care, they feel a sense safety and know that their pets are good hands so they can relax while they are away. I like to take many photos of the furry friends and send them to their owners so the owners are reassured their pets are well and having fun while they are away.

About: Ive grown up with dogs! Just recently lost my senior pup he was 16. Took care of him myself for the last 5ish years. Adopted a puppy from the shelter last year and have trained him myself, to be a gentle giant. He is also my service dog. I also have a Aussie puppy (she is 1). I have baby/dog/puppy sat for years. My new and frequent thing I love is taking my dogs to the off leash dog trails. It helps entertain them. Also swimming, I let my dogs go into the water and by the time the walk is done they’re dry. If you’re working on recall or any type of command I’ll be sure to enforce it. If your dog cannot be off leash I’ll make sure they’ll be on leash when we’re out! I have administered medicine of all kind and been on top of the timing. If there’s any sort of emergency you’ll be contacted right away or notified. I currently am not working. I take clients here and there, but my busy months are in the summer/fall. I’m a hairstylist and I specialize in bridal. My weekly routine when I’m not working, I usually have a slow morning and go to any doctors appts that I have that day. I take my dog Little Bear with me and my partner takes his Aussie with him to work. Usually I’m able to take my dogs in with me to appointments or errands. If not, they stay in the car only if it’s cool enough outside. I have more time on my hands during the winter and spring where I can be with the dogs all day. I have 2.5 acres that are fenced in. My two dogs are very friendly. One more shy and lazy than the other. But they LOVE to play! They LOVE new friends. If it’s raining/too cold/hot outside they’ll be inside with me & my partner. My partner works from home half the time and the other half he goes to the office. Your pets will get plenty of love, cuddles and treats! I’ll love them just the same.
