“This was my first time using a sitter like this. Normally I have used a kennel. My last few kennel experiences were not great. In fact the last one was horrific. My dog could hardly walk when I picked her up and they claimed it was from being in crate all weekend, but it was more than that. Her back was out of whack and she had to get an adjustment and acupuncture. Genae was really patient with all of my questions as I was a bit insecure trying something new. My one dog is 15 years old and kind of a special needs at this point. When I picked them up they both looked happy and well cared for. She sent me pictures of them daily and they looked like they were comfortable and at home there. My younger little dog got to be around other dogs which he loves as his senor sister isn't much of a player anymore. I will be using her again, next month actually!!!”

About: I grew up with dogs. I have been living in a house now with 4 Shih Tzus ranging from 1.5 years old up to 16. I've gone through potty training all the way to eye drops. I am also owned by 5 cats so I am well versed in litter boxes and finicky eaters. I work full time Saturday through Wednesdays from 7am to 3pm. My housemate and partner works Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. There is almost always someone home to take care of the dogs. It is no issue for me to stop by before and after work for potties and so on. I am pretty much a low key person so hanging with the fur kids is about as exciting as I get. When I am sitting in someone's house I like to spend time with the pet. I make sure that when I leave the house I secure the doors, windows, etc. I am respectful of belongings and space. I like to make the fur kids feel like nothing is all that different as much as possible. If I'm just dropping in for walks/potty time I like to spend time with them for their comfort and stimulation. I'll make sure water is refreshed and food is full and boxes are emptied.

About: I grew up on a farm in the mountains. It introduced my love and experience for animals and the immense gratification involved. Since moving away I have took in many animals both to do my part personally in my home and giving the opportunity for others to have the same by rehabbing, sheltering and finding their forever homes. I’m an early riser with a balanced indoor/ outdoor schedule- perfect for animal health. Mornings & afternoon exercise play a large part in my active lifestyle here, too! This property also sits across the street from several beautiful trails that I explore frequently, though, our personal wooded acreage is welcomed to furry guests, too. We have two cats that are very friendly & open to other company, though can easily be separated depending on your personal needs. We also offer spare rooms to customize for their temporary stay. Wind-down times are in place before bedtimes, though there’s rarely been an animal that wasn’t exhausted after a good day here!

I have three dogs as well named Cheeto. I found him in a bush at 2-4 weeks old, so he’s my baby boy. I have experience with a kitten that needs formula and around the hour care. About: I grew up on a farm in the mountains. It introduced my love and experience for animals and the immense gratification involved. Since moving away I have took in many animals both to do my part personally in my home and giving the opportunity for others to have the same by rehabbing, sheltering and finding their forever homes. It has always been my dream to open a shelter, or even more fun a cat cafe. I am excited for the opportunity to share my love with your furbabies and am appreciative for the consideration. I am an entrepreneur from home so my schedule is very open. I am aware how hectic life can be and hope to take some of that weight off your shoulders. My cats are spoiled rotten. They are given wet food once a day on top of their dry food. They have their own room full of windows, an electric litter box and a door to their massive catio outside. As well as access to the rest of the home as given. They are given medications as needed and I use Dutch vet service to assist in staying on top of their general health. When it comes to your animals I will offer the same love and attention as I give mine while following the regimens given. As far as watching your animals in my home it will vary according to the needs and comfort of the animals I am watching.
About: I have years of experience with my personal animals along with friends, I care for animals as if they were my own. They get the rule of the roost, and sleep in my bed! I often work 4 days a week so I have the long weekends to pet sit. If you need during the week it’s possible, as I have a doggy door and a 6 foot-dug into the ground fence, but would need to be the right fit while I’m at work, I have cameras to check on them too. Pets will get ample play time, walk/run and couch time too. The dog door is helpful once they figure it out, they can come and go as they please.
