I’m currently a nursing student who wants to spend my extra time with animals! I am available throughout the week and weekends! My availability differs by week but my calendar is always up to date! Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and care for their pets while they’re away. I’m attentive, patient, and great at reading animal behavior, whether that means giving energetic dogs plenty of exercise or providing calm, gentle care for seniors or anxious pets. I treat every pet as if they were my own. I work part-time and set my own schedule, which allows me to be very flexible and accommodating to my clients’ needs. I’m able to adjust my availability for walks, drop-ins, or extended care, including weekdays and weekends, and I prioritize clear communication to ensure your pet’s routine is followed as closely as possible. I have a fenced-in yard and prioritize a calm, safe environment for all pets in my care. I have two cats who are kept comfortably separated with their own space when dogs are visiting, as I understand transitions can be challenging. I’m very mindful of introductions, happy to crate dogs if needed, and always follow owner preferences and routines to ensure pets feel secure and well cared for.

About: My name is Laura. I have been a dog owner my whole life. I have been a Rover sitter on and off for about 5 years and would love to take care of your fur babies while you are out of town. I have owned several special needs animals and am good at working with animals of all temperments. I have experience dealing with dogs of all ages and sizes. I especially love caring for older dogs who may need a little extra care and attention. I have worked with large groups of dogs and am willing to take care of several at a time if you have a large pet family. I have open availability and would love to play with your dog and make sure they are well taken care of. I have a full time job with flexibility. As long as I have about a weeks notice it should not be a problem to accommodate weekday visits to pets. Weekends are no problem. I like to do an initial house visit with the owner to get an idea of what the house looks like and where the pet is comfortable. About: I have experience fostering dogs with the animal shelter APL and have a small toy poodle of my own. He is very friendly with other dogs and loves to play. I love dogs and would love to have the opportunity to watch dogs and take care of others! I am open to watching dogs for a couple hours, a day, or even a couple of days if that is what is needed. My house has a small backyard and I am also available to do drop ins at the dogs own home. The area is very quiet and would be comfortable for another dog to be in. If I am caring for someone else's dog I plan on being home for the time I'm watching the dog so that it will be well taken care of. I’m currently only working part time so I have plenty of time to spend with your animals. I am available early mornings or early afternoons to give your animal a break during the workday! I am also available any time on the weekends. I have a fenced in yard and 2 friendly dogs to keep your dog company. I have a toy poodle and a golden retriever. I can also do drops in to walk or play with your dog as well!
