During the week, I work part time and have availability before work (before 9am) and after work (after 230pm) and evenings for visits! Weekends I’m available as well. I follow your lead to maintain your pets routine and adapt as needed based on their temperament and comfort. Walks, car rides and an adventure full of treats and rewards for good behavior. Or simply a visit, a snuggle and some food and fresh water while you’re out for long hours.

About: I grew up in a cat household and became a dog mom as soon as I left home. I absolutely love all of the cats and dogs I’ve been fortunate enough to meet in this life. I raised my pup, Grumble, from 3 weeks old until she left this world at 11 years old. I am very familiar with the range of needs a dog will have throughout life, from teething to play to mobility assistance. I'm fully available in the winter as my regular job (gardening) is seasonal and won't be picking up again until later in the spring time. I can be flexible to your pets needs and more than happy to follow any directions you provide me with for their optimal care and contentment.

From bottle-feeding baby raccoons to gently caring for injured birds, I learned early on the patience, empathy, and responsibility that animals deserve. That lifelong passion turned into a career of caring: I spent 4 years at a cat shelter, helping to socialize, medicate and find loving homes for many cats. Beyond that, I've volunteered extensively at Farm sanctuaries and animal shelters, gaining hands-on experience with dogs, cats, pigs, chickens, and more! About: I’m an artist living in a beautiful quiet space in Woodstock with a large yard and plenty of nearby places to hike and swim in the water holes. I had a rescue Wheaten Terrier for 11 years, who sadly passed in January due to a heart condition she had since she was 7 years old. I’m really great with rescues, and highly sensitive dogs. I know how to give medication and just generally vibe with what the dog needs. I’m highly intuitive and I find this to be my main asset as the dog always communicates its needs and wants, we just need to know how to listen. I love all dogs but unfortunately cannot watch ones that shed a lot due to allergies. I’m an artist, mostly working from my home desk or at a coffee shop. I love taking pets to the cafe, if it's an environment they are used to and comfortable with. Sometimes I will work at a cafe but I can make my schedule flexible given enough notice. I have a quiet spacious yard in Woodstock with lots of nearby nature paths. Each day I like to get out for a long walk in nature, and I also live right near a nature preserve that is walking distance from my home. It’s just me at home so it’s a calm relaxing environment.

About: Now that I have graduated college and I am living back home! I have a lot of time to do one of my favorite things which is to care for animals! I have experience rescuing dogs and giving them loving homes. In the past I have trained with a dog trainer to get a better sense on how to better work with dogs. I am an early bird, I usually start my days at 5:30! I make sure to get some exercise and take a morning walks. I have a very strong ritual of waking up early and being active. I usually take the afternoons to read and prepare my applications for JD/PHD programs. In between these two things in my schedule, I have a lot of free time that I would love to spend with your pets! I also do not mind traveling to different boroughs if needed!! In my own home, I have a very large living room space, which gives pets spaces to stretch, lay out, play and or explore. In clients home I always make sure to know what boundaries/ areas are off limits for the pets and respect that.

About: When I was 8, I wrote a poem about how badly I wanted to hang out with animals all day, added my parents' land line #, and then made a ton of copies for each mailbox in the neighborhood. I was sole proprietor of the Elizabeth's House, Dog, Cat, & Plant Sitting operation for about 10 years until I left home for undergrad. Now at 38 I've continued to offer my services to any family, friends, coworkers, etc. in need of a responsible, thoughtful, detail-oriented person for house, pet, and or plant sitting. I have experience caring for pets with a variety of care needs: senior animals, puppies & kittens, pets that need to be administered medication and/or special diets, and animals with behavioral issues. I am deeply respectful of every animal's unique personality, and take time to understand and anticipate your pet's every need. I will treat your fur babies like they're my own! I took a break from Rover for the past 2 years, but now I'm back and excited to meet some new clients <3 I work remotely from home, so my schedule is uniquely flexible to care for your home, pet, plants, either within your space or mine. I'm an early riser and prefer to remain quite active during the day, so I can provide plenty of stimulation for your pets as needed. I treat any space I stay in as if it were my home. This means you'll come back to a clean, tidy, organized house, with thriving plants and happy pets. I'm comfortable with crate training, reinforcing behavioral & obedience training as set by pet owners, and using special muzzles & harnesses for walks as needed. As an amateur horticulture enthusiast, I will also make sure to maintain awareness of the environmental needs of any plants and gardens in my care. I always share GPS location with families when I'm taking their pet on a hike or leaving the home!
