About: Lifelong dog person, I have cared for dozens of furry friends, mine and others. I currently have a 4 year old Shepherd Mix. Former PETCO employee and rescue volunteer I am currently working part-time and unavailable 2pm to 7pm Monday- Friday. There is some flexibility, so please ask about your specific timing needs. Thanks I will follow your instructions as well as your pet's needs, mood, and personality. I do my best to let your fur baby be comfortable and themselves.

About: I've been happily caring for animals, big and small, since childhood. I've always been relied on for long-term dog sitting while neighbors were out of town. Friends of mine with exotic pets, or pets with special needs, also rely on me to take care of their animals while they are busy. Similarly, I have work experience at a doggy daycare and a puppy school for about half of a year each. Both of these businesses practiced positive reinforcement and gentle training strategies. My family's two sweet dogs taught me the value of ensuring that pets are clean, healthy, and fulfilled. It makes such a huge difference in everyone's lives! My schedule is very open currently. I am flexible for the majority of the week, but Sundays are my day off. I also have class Monday evenings, but it is remote, so it does not necessarily interfere with house sitting. When first meeting dogs, I work patiently and generously with them to ensure they are comfortable with my presence. Throughout my visit, I use positive reinforcement strategies to ensure dogs stay comfortable and happy with their environment while I am present.

About: I have been taking care of animals for nearly a decade. I love the tiniest to the largest, indoor to outdoor. I will happily follow your routines and requests and care for your animals as if they were my own. I am the proud owners of four cats, two dogs, a lizard, and caged invertebrates. No animal too big or too small, I love them all. I build each day's routine around the jobs at hand, flexibility is my main attribute. I will go out of my way to follow your routine to keep your pet on schedule. I have one job that takes me away from the house that is a per diem, the full duration of which is only two and a half hours. I will do my best to make sure that if boarding your animal at my house I do not have that job coincide but if it does I have a safe spot to separate animals for that short period. I have a fenced in backyard and a large open concept house. I have the ability to separate your animal from my animals if that is requested. My personal animals are used to visitors, furry and human.

About: Hi I’m Kahlan! I’ve owned dogs and cats my entire life, along with horses. I enjoy being outside as much as possible and love taking dogs on walks or throwing a ball for them! I have experience living with every breed of dog from husky, to pitbull, to cockapoo, to chocolate lab, and currently have a German Sheppard as well as 2 Mini Australian Sheppards. I work from home as an engineer, and my work hours are pretty flexible as a result of that. Im conveniently located on Rt 7a! My typical day ends around 3:30 so I have plenty of time in the evening for your pup! Watch it as my own dog & burn some of that energy! I have experience with e-collars and walking dogs on a leash. Mango is elderly and sick with multiple types of cancer and I often ask David to give Mango her medicine. Usually when I ask people to do this, they just give her medicine and leave the room, which is all I ever ask people to do. David gives Mango her medicine but also take both of the ferrets out of the pen to play with them and give them scratches, especially if I'm away on a trip and the girls need extra attention. David has a palpable love for animals and a passion for their wellbeing. “Polly has helped me with my dogs and cats for about 2 years. When I worked 12 hour shifts she came and let the dogs out and spent time with them in the yard and cleaned up after them. She then would take time to bring them in for treats and got down with them for petting time which they loved. Cats didn’t go out but they also received treats and pets. In that time I had adopted a dog from rescue that was very nervous about new people and Polly was very receptive to working with him that in no time he was happy to see her. I also work in rescue so I would have a fourth dog sometimes fostering and Polly is always up to helping and learning what each one needs.
