She literally drove over just to meet Lucy prior to sitting. “Destinee and her hubby Cody gave our boy undivided attention in their home. He has had some negative experiences with other dogs and they were willing to make their home his alone. They seem super sweet but he was excited to come home; we did expect this behavior as they were willing to give him a trial 24 hours and behaved like we were never coming back. He is young and full of energy and spunk used to running free in his yard; no fence means he can not go roam around as he pleases sniffing and marking every spot he wishes. Perhaps he would rather have a sitter at the house next time. Or maybe we will train him with a collar to stay in an open yard. I would totally book time with Destinee/Cody again if we need some help. They work as a team taking care of Blu and making our time away stress free.”

About: I had German Shepherds, Welsh Corgis, a Jindo, and a mixed-breed dog back in Korea, and all of them were well trained. When I meet a new dog, I try to become their friend by making gentle eye contact, lowering myself to their eye level, and offering my hand while patiently waiting until they feel I am safe. I have also dealt with aggressive dogs several times, and in the end, they too became my friends. Since I work from home with flexible time during the week, I have not had my own pet yet because I felt it would be unfair to leave them alone for long hours. However, on weekends I usually dedicate time to myself through photography, driving, and hiking, and I would truly enjoy having the company of your dog or cat during those times.
