About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember! My family bred Pugs for over 10 years, and I’ve personally owned and cared for animals for more than 35 years. Over the years, I have owned Pugs, Labs, Bernese Mountain Dogs, an Italian Greyhound cats, bunnies, fish, and turtles — so I think it’s safe to say I’m a true animal lover! What sets me apart is the experience and genuine love I bring to every pet I care for. My work schedule can vary from week to week, with workdays ranging anywhere from 12-hour to 8-hour days, so I don’t have a set weekly routine. However, I do have flexibility throughout the week and will do my best to accommodate the days and times that work best for you and your pets. I understand that every pet has their own routine and needs, and I’m happy to work with you ahead of time to coordinate a schedule that provides consistent and reliable care. Communication is very important to me, so I’ll always do my best to plan around my work schedule and make sure your pets get the attention, care, and companionship they need while you’re away. I’m happy to care for pets either in my home or in their own home, depending on the service and what works best for the pet and their family. I believe pets are most comfortable when their normal routines are maintained, so I do my best to follow their usual feeding, walking, playtime, medication, and bedtime schedules. When caring for pets in their home, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, companionship, and affection while keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I’m also happy to provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are happy and well cared for. If pets stay in my home, they become part of the family during their visit. About: I have experience caring for my family’s two beautiful Australian Shepherds, each with a personality completely their own! First, there’s Coco—also known as “Loco Coco.” She is incredibly sweet, very anxious, smart as hell, and somehow equally goofy. Caring for Coco has taught me the importance of patience, reassurance, and understanding that every dog experiences the world differently. Then there’s Ember. She’ll growl when you pet her… and then growl when you stop petting her! She can be misunderstood and a little moodier, but she is also incredibly loyal and loving in her own unique way. Having experience with two very different temperaments has helped me become patient, understanding, and adaptable when caring for animals. I currently work full-time as an Environmental Scientist with a flexible schedule due to the nature of my work. My position allows me to work remotely, in an office, and onsite at facilities, which gives me flexibility and makes me accommodating when it comes to scheduling pet and house sitting. I am also open to traveling and overnight stays! Because I can work remotely at times, I enjoy the opportunity to spend time in new places while also providing reliable care for your home and pets. I truly miss having furry friends of all shapes and sizes around, and I would love the opportunity to give them plenty of attention, care, and companionship while you’re away. I have been working as a Licensed Massage Therapist for the past 11 years...and for 6 of those years I have owned my own business. I have recently decided to retire and close my business. I feel that pet sitting is the perfect mix of flexibility while also scratching the itch to spend all my time with fluff balls! My goal is to try and treat your pets like my own. I will make pets feel cared for and loved, even when their owners are not there. I work 6-4, Monday-Thursday. Monday is a work from home day and the rest of the week I’m in the office. (some flexibility on this, as I could stay home to work while dog sitting) I’d be happy to watch dogs during this time, but they will be long days if I can’t stay home. Because of this, the weekends are the best times for me to take care of pets, but I’d be happy to watch pets during the week if needed. I want to be there for your dogs needs.
