Pet Sitting in Sextonville

About: I’m sure all sitters say this but I genuinely have a seat for being with animals. Sometimes I prefer them over people and treat them like they’re my own. I love all of their personalities and quirks. Anywhere I go I ask to pet someone’s dog and respect what the dog’s body language is telling me. I have a Siberian husky so I have had to learn how to read body language and potential environmental stressors very well. I invest a generous amount of time into learning about dog breeds and am always opening to learning more! Currently, I am staying in an apartment near Camp Randall with plenty of time after 1:00 pm before the semester starts on Sept. 3rd. Following the 3rd, I would edit my schedule on the app. There are no other pets in the apartment so boarding would be available for a few days. Extensive experience with dogs, slightly less with cats but always open to caring! I love giving them constant stimulation and walks. Pets and treats are always given. I treat all dogs like they’re my own. I have an eye on them almost at all times.

About: I have had dogs and cats of my own for my entire life. I have taken care of my friends and family's dogs routinely and love to snuggle with them. I currently work full time M-F but I have flexibility during the day if needed. I just love animals and they are a really important part of my life, so if I am able to help someone else out who needs it I would feel honored. I will care for your fur baby as if it were my own. I just lost my black lab and am really missing having a dog.

About: I've been around dogs my whole life and have even helped friends and family with their dogs. I even got help my best friend get her dog dressed up for her wedding! I currently have flexible work from home hours where I can come play with the fluff balls when needed. I am only unavailable Tuesday and Wednesday. I live in an apartment but on the edge of town and have a huge area to run the dogs when they need some exercise.

About: I have been caring for dogs since 2013, starting when I was just 9 years old! In 2010, we rescued our first dog, Belle, a rat terrier. In 2021, we adopted another senior dog, Destiny, a miniature poodle, to keep Belle company. Sadly, they both passed away due to old age in 2024. The following summer, my family and I realized how incomplete our lives felt without dogs, so we decide to rescue two more senior dogs, Beanie and Pam! My family believes that senior dogs are often overlooked and forgotten, but I love dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds. I look forward to the opportunity to take care of your furry friend! PLEASE READ‼️ I go to school in Wisconsin, and I will be driving up to move in on August 19th and will be gone until December, which is when I come back to Atlanta for fall break. I will be in Atlanta for the majority of December and January. FOR WISCONSIN: Studio apartment! Can take outside for walks etc. FOR ATLANTA: I have a large, fenced yard and a pool, and I always accompany the dogs outside to supervise them closely. Over the years, I have cared for four dogs in my home, and I’m proud to say that none have ever fallen into the pool—even my one-eyed dog has stayed safe! If it makes you feel more comfortable, I’m happy to leash your dog while we’re in the fenced backyard. I also have two senior female dogs who can provide your dog with plenty of companionship. They will never be left alone throughout the day. My two dogs tend to spend most of their time napping since they are old! If you prefer, I can come to your home for dog sitting as well. However, since I have my own dogs, it’s important that your home is located in the general Decatur area. Thank you for considering me as your dog sitter! About: Conveniently located 7 minutes from Wisconsin Dells (the map is not accurate), in the country on a few acres with a large fenced in area! I love taking care of pups in my home just as one of my own furry family members. I have a degree as a vet tech and in canine obedience and behavior! I have been boarding dogs in my home and pet sitting for over 25 years. I also ran a wonderful dog rescue for almost ten years giving me a wide variety of experience with many situations and behaviors. I love being able to help people with knowing their pup is in the best of care so you can enjoy your Vacation or not add more stress in a time of sorrow or whatever the situation may be that brings you to needing dog sitting! I also own my own business doing interior painting so have a very flexible schedule. I love being able to be flexible for you and for your pup I have a fenced in yard, can separate and/crate dogs as needed. I do offer for them to sleep with me at night and be spoiled. I will take them for rides, hikes, to the store all if applicable!

About: Hello my name is Candida (Candi). I have worked in and with Rescues and Humane Societies throughout the State of WI over the last 30 years. I currently have 4 dogs and live out in the country with lots of room to run. I am very familiar with different behavior issues as well as how to work with your pets to get through those issues. This experience comes from fostering many high risk animals over the years. Your pet will be treated the same in my home as he/ she is treated in your home. If they go on your furniture, they are welcome on mine, etc. I am always willing to go the extra mile, if your pet needs a bath or a nail clip, I am happy to do that. I have experience with training, CPR, Giving Meds both by mouth and shot. Some of my friends lovingly call me the crazy dog lady because of my deep love for dogs, they have feelings and emotions just as we do and I always take that into consideration when caring for them. Given the opportunity I will show you that you can trust me to care for your baby while you are away just as you care for them when you are home. I currently work part time at my own small business so my schedule is super flexible and can be easily worked around your needs. This gives me the flexibility to give your pet all the time and attention they need while in my care. I have four dogs that are the sweetest babies. They get along great with all animals as well as kids. I do not have a fenced yard as we live on 80 acres out in the country, but I do have a portable temporary fencing that can be put up for outside time. We have a large area in the lower level of our home for inside play time. As I said earlier, when your pet is in my home, they will be treated just as they are when they are with you. I know how important routine is to their little minds. If you feed at a certain time, I will follow that routine. I know mine have a very set routine, they surely know when dinner time is. :o)

“KaliAnn was wonderful with my geriatric kitty, Lita. Lita is pretty shy and takes time to warm up to new people. In spite of that, Kali kept Lita well fed, made sure she got her meds when she needed them, brushed her coat, and loved on her whenever Lita was being friendly. She sent me updates and pictures after each visit, and I felt completely at ease during my trip knowing Lita was in such capable, kind, gentle hands. Kali's vet tech experience was invaluable. My senior mom lives with me and was here but isn't physically able to take care of Lita. She fell in love with Kali, and was very comfortable having her here. Kali was warm, kind, and friendly with my mom, and always took some time to chat with her when she came in addition to taking such good care of my sweet Lita. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Before finding Kali on Rover, I was looking at boarding facilities but knew Lita wouldn't be happy in such an unfamiliar environment. Being able to have her cared for at home was just the best. About: I always had a dog in my house growing up, and my dogs became part of the family. I have been dog sitting for five years and continue to love helping people take care of their pets. I currently do not own a dog at my own place, but my parents have two Labrador retrievers that I visit any chance I can get. I am very organized and enjoy working with different types of pets. I am a reliable hard worker who is always looking to learn more about the world around me. I spend my free time hiking, going to concerts, and spending time with my friends. About: I see dogs as one of the great additions to a family, in fact, I have always had a dog in my household. Neighbors have relied on me to do drop in potty breaks as well as over night pet sitting. I am able to take care of dogs of all age and size. About: I have trained 2 puppies of my own as well as raise them and take care of them throughout their lives. I have also in-home dogsat for many dogs including dog in heat. I have experience with feeding, walking, training, medicating, spending time with, and cleaning up after dogs of all kinds. I am a student at the University of Minnesota and I work part-time. I am available to check in on your pets and take them for walks/spend time with them during the day. I have a lot of extra time this summer to spend with your pets! I will care for your pets from your home, I can take them for very long walks as well as take them to the dog park if you would like. I have a very flexible schedule and am typically able to accommodate pet's regular schedules.
