“Brianna is a wonderful person to work with. Our kitties loved her from the first second. Thanks to her attention to detail, great spirit, and natural ability to be our cat whisperer. I’d recommend her to anyone in the area and we will continue to work with her in the future!”

“I needed someone to provide care to my dad’s cat, Leo, on short notice and Makala understood my situation and needs and even offered to take in Leo. I would recommend Makala to anyone in the area”
“Katelyn helped me tremendously when my initial sitter plans feel through. Despite the short turn around, she took the time for a meet & greet, and my dogs really took a liking to her! She sent updates for each visit, letting me know how they were doing. Would absolutely recommend!”

About: I am a true animal lover! Growing up with both Boston Terriers and Boxers, I learned to adapt to the needs of the individual animals around me. My beloved Boston Terrier, Dorothy, was with me from puppyhood until she crossed the Rainbow Bridge at the age of 16 in 2025. My current animal squad consists of two senior kitties and two large but loving rescue dogs! I understand all animals need a little something different, and they all deserve respect and patience! My goal is to make your pets as comfortable and happy as possible. I’m a mom to a toddler and am looking for a flexible way to earn some extra income while doing something I love. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine, and I’m able to plan visits around my family’s schedule. I’m dependable, communicative, and genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet and their individual routine. Pets will be cared for with the utmost respect and compassion! These furry guys and gals are your family. They will receive the attention they want and deserve. All interactions will be based upon YOUR direction - what to feed, when to feed, where they sleep, etc. You may be at work or out of town, but they are still your baby and I will keep them in their routine.
“Chelsea was amazing!! Our furkids loved spending time with her during our time away. She was very attentive and went above and beyond to take care of them and our needs while we were traveling. She shared many pictures with us and made sure we stayed connected to them. We would HIGHLY recommend her services to anyone who needs a pet sitter. We will definitely hire her again!”

“Caitlyn was an excellent sitter for my two kitties. She responded quickly & was able to accommodate a last minute booking. Definitely would book again. Thanks Caitlyn! (Also the pictures were adorable!! ☺️)”

“Niki clearly loves dogs and was very patient with our shy dog who eventually warmed up to her for a drop in visit. She was also considerate of my mother-in-law who was visiting at the time. Top notch trustworthy service! Thank you Niki!”

About: I have had 3 rescue dogs and 3 rescue cats over the past 30 years. I have dealt with all ages and various medical conditions. In addition, I have continuously watched dogs for my family and friends. For several years I also volunteered for Animal Friends, walking dogs and doing cat socialization. I work a full time job, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. I have plenty of availability weekday evenings. The weekends I am available from 7am to 10pm. I treat your home and your furry family members with the utmost respect and care. During my visits, I ensure your pet stays strictly on their familiar routine to minimize any stress or anxiety. I keep a watchful eye on their behavior, ensuring they don't chew on anything hazardous and stay safe while exploring the yard or going on walks. Your home's security is vital to me, so I double-check locks every time I enter or leave. In the rare event of an issue, I am fully prepared to contact your preferred veterinarian and coordinate with Rover's 24/7 support team immediately.
“Sa was great with my full of energy dog. She arrived on time and did exactly as asked. Sa is professional and easy to work with regarding scheduling a time. She sent pictures of my dog during her time with him. I will definitely hire her again.”

About: I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats my whole life and have always loved caring for all types of animals! I worked at a doggy daycare, where I gained experience with different breeds, sizes, personalities, and temperaments. I’ve also pet-sat in the past for friends and family, and I understand that each pet has their own specific care routines. I currently help care for and walk dogs for neighbors and have experience with feeding, walking, playtime, potty routines, and basic commands. I always make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and is cared for like my own ❤️ I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and pet care before and after work on weekdays, with more flexible availability on evenings and weekends. I’m happy to work around your pet’s normal routine whenever possible and make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and care. I prioritize safety, patience, and attentiveness with every pet. I carefully follow all owner instructions, including feeding schedules, walking routines, medications, and any special needs. I always make sure doors, gates, leashes, and harnesses are secure, and I pay close attention to each pet’s comfort level, behavior, and surroundings.
About: Having grown up with animals, I've developed a deep love and understanding for both cats and dogs. I have experience with all sorts of animals but especially love caring for cats and dogs! I'm committed to making sure your furry friends are happy and healthy! Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine. I am available on weekends for dogs. I am also available all week for “drop in” cat sitting. I always put the safety and happiness of pets first when I'm in a client's home and my own home. Since I have a flexible schedule, I can always be on time and give them the attention they need. Plus, I have my own car, so getting there is never an issue.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Sewickley Hills
Kate just took care of my cat Boomer for the first time and did a great job. She completed all of the cat sitting chores -- refilled water and food bowls, cleaned the litter boxes, gave him treats and also gave him lots of the love and attention he craves. After each visit she sent me an update of how he was doing, along with pictures. She did a great job and I wouldn't hesitate to use her services again.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of September 2026, there are 1,261 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Sewickley Hills. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Sewickley Hills. On Rover:
- 88% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 92% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 92% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
