“Tiffany has again been amazing with accommodating our ever-changing schedules. Our dog feels totally comfortable with her and gets excited to see her in the mornings. We are definitely lucky to have found someone to take such great care of our girl!”

“Ryan and Sabrina have been wonderful as sitters for Toby. He loves going there and especially loves their big yard. They are very flexible with any changes and always accomodating. I totally recommend 100%.”

“We had such a great experience with this daycare! They were absolutely amazing—so kind, attentive, and clearly loves what they do. Saint had the best time and really bonded with their dog, Kai. They went on walks, played together, and even had time to rest and nap, which I really appreciated. I felt completely at ease knowing Saint was in such good hands. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter!”

“Robin made it really easy to drop my dog off and pick him up. He had a great playdate while we were going out for lunch. Robin sent lots of cute pictures and videos.”

About: Whether you're looking for someone to help get that daily exercise in, to assist in taking them out for their potty breaks, or just be around to provide the socialization and care that your pup craves, I would love to provide that time to tend to your pup's needs. I have years of experience with many different breeds, and have assisted with leash training and behavioral training. As a fellow person with three pups and a cat (Shelties, named Moose, Eevee, Zora, and Zuko (cat) ) of my own, I understand how important it is to invest trust with someone for personable care over your companion. I can ensure your pup is my top priority for you and your family. Let me provide the peace of mind that you deserve, and schedule all of your pups service needs today. I work near home and my wife works from home. Your pets will always be cared for and we have years of experience with pets. Our property is in a great area and we have the space to accommodate. We live in a quiet neighborhood with helpful neighbors and great dog parks nearby.
About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve had experience with dogs of different sizes, personalities, energy levels, and routines, and I understand that every dog has their own unique needs and comfort level. I’m also a dog mom myself to Nala, a fun, friendly, energetic Staffordshire Bull Terrier, so I understand firsthand how important it is to feel completely comfortable with the person caring for your pup. Because I have a dog of my own, I’m very mindful about introductions, personalities, and making sure every dog feels safe and comfortable in my home. What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I give each dog while they’re with me. I want your pup to feel like part of the family, not just like they’re being “watched.” I do my best to keep their normal routine as consistent as possible while giving them plenty of attention, playtime, cuddles, and a comfortable place to relax. I’m also attentive to behavior and body language, so I make an effort to notice when a dog may be nervous, overstimulated, missing home, or simply needs a little extra reassurance. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away knowing your dog is safe, comfortable, loved, and being treated like one of my own. Pet care already fits naturally into my daily routine because I have a dog of my own, Nala, and caring for her is part of our everyday life. I also work remotely, which gives me the flexibility to be home throughout much of the day and provide regular potty breaks, meals, playtime, attention, and plenty of opportunities to relax. Our home has an active but comfortable routine, and I enjoy having dogs around as part of that. Whether your pup prefers playing and staying busy or curling up and relaxing, I’m happy to adjust to their personality and normal schedule as much as possible. I’m also intentional about the bookings I accept and plan around my schedule so I can give each dog the attention and care they deserve. My goal is to make their stay feel like an extension of home while keeping feeding, potty, exercise, and bedtime routines as familiar and consistent as possible. Safety and comfort are always a priority in my home. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can enjoy supervised outdoor time, potty breaks, and play without needing to be off-leash in an open area. I also have an extra crate available if your dog is crate-trained or simply feels more comfortable having their own quiet space. Because I have a dog of my own, I’m intentional about introductions and take the time to make sure everyone is comfortable before allowing dogs to freely interact. I closely supervise play, pay attention to body language, and can provide separate spaces when dogs need a break or some downtime. I follow each pet’s normal feeding, potty, exercise, and sleep routines as closely as possible and always follow any special instructions provided by their owner. Meals can be given separately when needed, and food, treats, and personal belongings are kept safely managed to help avoid unnecessary issues between dogs. Dogs in my care are treated like part of the family, while still having the structure and supervision needed to keep everyone safe. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident knowing your pup is comfortable, cared for, and enjoying their stay.

Aviah was so nice to accept a last minute daycare request. She has a large area for the dogs and a wonderful fenced back yard. Koda has separation anxiety and is really nervous in almost any situation which is why I was afraid to leave him with someone. Beth and Jim are the answer to my prayers. They work with him, have patience with him and love him like he was their own. Koda still has a long way to go but he stands a little taller and has made some wonderful doggie friends in the process. I look forward to him going to daycare because I know he will feel like he is home. You will not regret trusting Beth and Jim with your baby.

Violet LOVED her play dates at Shane and Brittany’s! They took such wonderful care of her so we could visits the sites in Washington that were not dog friendly. Being from out of state it was hard to leave her with strangers, but they welcomed her into their home like family! They kept me informed all day long about her care, and sent tons of pictures of her playing with their dogs and other fur-guests. It was wonderful to be able to enjoy our days as tourists without worrying one bit about our baby girl. We cannot recommend them more highly!

Cristhian is extremely responsive and super nice. He was gentle with my old boy, Major, and very gracious when Major had an accident 😰 His house is easily accessible and he has plenty of open space on the lower level for hanging out with pups! Greatly appreciate Cristhian and would recommend him 🙂

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MD ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
