About: Always joking that dogs are superior but in truthfulness love all animals. Experienced with dogs but open to providing care for other pets. Will strictly adhere to owner requests, so long as they are humane. (Furniture ok vs not allowed, food/walking schedule, treats, etc.). There will be no shortage of affection and attention, assuming the pet is receptive. Open to assisting with reactive or challenging pets. Attempting to build a trusting bond is an inherent desire. Work from home so (brief) walks, potty breaks, playtime, etc can be provided through entirety of day. Longer walks before 8am or after 5pm. Available 24/7 on weekends and holidays. Live alone so no concerns about other pets or children. Have decent sized yard but do require a leash since there is no fence. Safe, quiet, and friendly neighborhood.

About: Hello! I am home for the summer and looking to spend my time with adorable pets and show them some love! I have been taking care of my two dogs since the 5th grade and I just graduated college. I love going for walks and playing fetch. I’m also content chilling on the couch and watching doggies nap. Most days I don’t have any obligations throughout the whole day and can work my daily tasks and errands around walking or checking on dogs. I always make sure my pets have water available all the time, especially in the summer. My dogs usually go on a leash when they are outside, and I feel most comfortable walking dogs with a leash. My dogs eat at the same time every day and get lots of attention when inside.

About: I’m a college student with a super flexible schedule and a lifelong love for animals! I grew up with dogs, cats, ferrets, birds, and hamsters — so I’m comfortable caring for all kinds of pets. I’ve also been the go-to sitter for friends and family, helping with everything from walks and playtime to overnight stays. I always treat every pet like family and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I'm a college student currently on summer break, so my schedule is very open! I'm available most hours throughout the week and can be flexible to meet your pet’s needs. If I ever have limited availability, I’ll be sure to update my calendar in advance. 😊 I have an open yard and can leash dogs as needed for outside time, which is also perfect for walks and play. Pets are welcome on the furniture unless you’ve trained otherwise. If I’m boarding in your home, I’ll be sure to follow your pet’s usual routine to keep them comfortable and happy.

About: I’ve been a dog owner my entire life and have had experience owning other pets such as geckos, cats, and snakes. I’ve been a pet sitter for a little over two years. My true passion for pet sitting comes from my desire to be accompanied by them, dogs specifically. I work with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and personalities. Dogs of all backgrounds tend to gravitate towards me and I have never had any negative interactions. While studying for my undergrad, I was actually in charge of all the live animal specimens present on the University grounds. Feeding, exercise, and handling/care were done daily, which can explain my comfortability and familiarity with pet care. I currently am home as I finish my masters degree online so my daily schedule is fairly free. I workout and do part-time contract work when I am not doing schoolwork. I’m extremely flexible and will be willing to meet your needs as best as possible. Simply put, I treat the pets like they are my own. I ensure they are met with sufficient attention, exercise, nutrition, and safety while under my supervision. Minimizing stress is my biggest concern (my dog has separation anxiety so I know how it can be). I’ve found it helpful in the past to use my own dog as a bridge between myself and the client’s pet, as his presence tends to build confidence and reassurance.

About: Hi, I’m Jillian! What sets me apart from other dog sitters is how deeply I care for animals, not just as a job, but as a real passion. I love spending time with dogs, whether it’s taking them on peaceful walks or just being there to keep them company. I walk my own dog every day and regularly watch my neighbors’ dogs, treating each one like family. I also volunteer at an animal shelter, where walking and spending time with the dogs truly fills my cup. Every dog I care for gets my full attention, love, and respect, because to me, they’re more than pets; they’re companions who deserve the best. Right now I am on summer break. I am a teacher in Pennsylvania so I am pretty available most weekdays and weekends. I am also available during the day as well! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities, whether they’re in my home or yours. I care for every animal with the same attention and love I give my own dog, always keeping an eye on them, making sure they’re happy, secure, and never stressed. I take the time to understand each dog’s needs and routines so they feel safe and at ease. Whether it’s a walk, a drop in visit, or an overnight stay, you can trust that your pet is in caring, responsible hands with me.

I do plan on going in to a vet tech program very soon. So I would be able to give care if needed. I currently do not work. So I have plenty of type to take care of your animals. About: I’m thrilled to offer dependable, compassionate pet care through Rover. I bring a blend of professional experience in animal husbandry—including care for reptiles, primates, and small animals—and a lifelong love for animals. I also hold UPenn’s Animal Assisted Therapy Certificate, adding depth to my understanding of animal behavior and emotional support. I have experience with administering medications, caring for special needs pets, and providing pet-centered, individualized attention. I’ve personally raised and trained my three adopted dogs, who now do wonderfully with other animals thanks to consistent, positive training. Whether it’s daily visits, walks, or extended care, I’m committed to keeping your pets safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Our mornings start with a potty break followed by their medications and breakfast. My dogs are fed twice a day—once in the morning and again in the evening. I work from home a couple of days a week, but our routine stays consistent day to day. They get daily exercise through walks and/or playtime in our fenced-in yard, depending on the weather and their energy levels. Since they’re older, I adjust their feeding schedule as needed to accommodate their changing needs. Evenings are for winding down with another walk or some outdoor playtime. After that, we do treats, grooming (including brushing, paw cleaning, and any nighttime meds), and finish the day with plenty of cuddles. I have a fenced-in yard and share my home with two big fur babies and one little Yorkie. The dogs have free roam of the house, except for any rooms that are kept closed off. We have crates set up and use them as needed for safety or downtime—they’re always available if the situation calls for it. The dogs are monitored with cameras and are rarely left alone for more than five hours at a time between my partner and me. I work from home frequently, so they’re supervised most of the day and kept on a consistent routine. At night, they sleep downstairs where there’s plenty of space for them to spread out or separate if needed.

About: I've grown up around critters of all types, including cats and dogs—big and small—and truly love being around animals. I currently care for my sweet senior dog, Diamond, a Maltese-Yorkie mix, so I understand the special attention older pets need. I also have experience caring for a blind dog. I've volunteered at two animal shelters and have experience pet sitting for others. I'm also very active and love going on walks or playing outside, so your pet will get plenty of exercise and attention. I treat every pet like family and always aim to provide calm, compassionate care that fits their unique personality and needs. I'm currently a student at Penn State and on summer break, so my schedule is very open. I'm taking one online class and working part-time with flexible hours, which gives me plenty of availability to walk, check in on, or stay with your pets. I'm happy to provide in-home pet sitting and can easily adjust to your pet's routine and needs throughout the day. When caring for pets in your home, safety and trust are my top priorities. I'm very mindful about securing doors and gates, and I have experience slipping in and out carefully so curious pets don’t sneak out. I also double-check locks and can crate your dog if needed. I always stick to your pet’s usual routine and walking routes to help them feel comfortable and secure. I'm patient, calm, and committed to creating a safe, familiar environment where your pets feel loved and cared for.

About: I've been house sitting for friends and family since I was 12. It allowed me to supplement my income and work with the animals that I have loved since a young age. I was a vet tech in high school and during the first few summers in college, gaining small animal medicine and husbandry experience. In addition, I worked at a two different doggy day cares throughout my graduate and undergrad degrees, gaining a lot more experience with dogs and a little bit of dog training. Both of these degrees are also in animal science. I love pets of all kinds and have looked after everything from horses to dogs and cats, to birds. I am new to the area as a recent Penn State hire and don’t have established contacts for dog sitting like I did in the areas that I lived for my degrees. I work full-time but have a fair amount of flexibility to work remotely up to 3 or 4 days a week. If you have a stable wifi connection I will be more available to spend time with your pups although there may still be some days I need to be gone for work for up to 8 hours. I am willing to stay with your pets overnight if that is your preference. I will not be boarding dogs as my landlord does not allow pets. I am respectful of your home and space and treat your pets as I would my own!

About: Family and friends have relied on me to take care of their dogs and cats for years. I provide in-home pet care: scheduled feedings, leashed walks, overnight care. Happiness, health and safety are top priorities. I currently run my own online business. I have plenty of time to maintain a weekly or daily routine for both cats and dogs. I make my own schedule. We walk multiple times a day. And, we love to hit up the dog park, as well as go on long hikes. I would offer the same activities to your dog (s), or I could adapt to what your dog prefers.

About: I grew up in a family of large dogs and have owned two French Bulldogs. I'm opening up my services to meet more amazing dogs and love on them as much as I do my own. I love senior dogs and those with special needs and happy to attend to their every special circumstances. I carry fresh water at all times and make sure our pups stay hydrated and happy. Personally I'm very healthy and fit and happy to exercise with your dog if that's their thing or just take it easy and enjoy the joy of being outside together. I've read Cesar Milan's book on dog psychology and have implemented his method of primal walks and pack leadership. 💛🫶 I'm a freelance creative writer and designer and I work from home. I spend most of my time gardening or working in our orchard, doing yoga, meditating, writing, cooking and reading. I feed my dog fresh premium food and wash the bowls after every meal. I generally avoid people giving out treats to my dog, children and dog parks to keep things safe and consistent. I care for the barn cat and birds. First and foremost I read through all instructions you provide for your pup and make a notecard listing out all details. I reference my notes often to ensure I'm aligned. If staying in my home, your pup will appreciate the same treatment I give my own pup, loads of love, walks and attention. Right now I'm only accepting dogs for overnight that I've developed a strong relationship with. But I have an extra kennel and they can sleep on the bed if you allow it.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 15. I have grown up around dogs, cats, horses, and other farm animals. I have my degree in Veterinary Technician. I have a little bit of dog training experience. I have trained hunting dogs along side of my husband. I promise to care and love your little one as if they were my own. I will always be there with them. I will make sure they are safe. I am free Friday nights, Saturday and Sundays. I do work Monday - Friday. I have a very flexible work schedule. I do work for family. I can do drop offs Monday mornings on my way to work. I can do pick up Fridays when I’m off. I work from home and I live on 10 acres of lovely mountain property. I do not have a fenced yard. I do have 2 outdoor 12X10 kennels set up. I would never let a dog go out potty without me on a leash. I spend about 30 minutes outside with my own dogs every 1.5 hours. I am outside most of the day unless it’s extremely hot or cold. I am with the animals 24/7. If your dogs likes to be outside I can put them in the kennels for extra outside time. If they like to be inside I can leave them inside while I take other dogs pee. I have a Furbo camera installed so I can view them at all times. Must be good with cats.

She has been an “Auntie” to my German Shepherd since he was small and he is overjoyed whenever she comes to sit him. She is confident if her animal handling abilities to which I have experience first hand as her client and as a peer. Worked at a doggie daycare and supervise a variety of dogs in group settings. David A. is simply outstanding! He took such fantastic care of my senior dog, Moth, during my first trip away from home in years. David is a loving, responsible, and experienced dog owner, so I had no reservations about him caring for my dog during my absence. During my vacation, David sent regular updates and photos and took Moth on many walks (far more than I do! lol). My little guy was so happy, and I felt no stress or worry. David is the best. If you want to feel 100% secure that your fur baby will get the best treatment, book David!
