Josie Lu had a good stay with Fiona and her canine kid. This was her first time staying in someone else’s home and not a big daycare facility. I felt comfortable leaving her as she warmed up immediately to Fiona. Good stay and would recommend Fiona.

Maria is just wonderful to your fur baby. Hunter was so happy to meet her and her ‘kid’. He played the whole day and learned how to go up/down steps. Maria has a magic way of communicating to your dog. I don’t think he wanted to leave do to the great time he had 😀. He’ll be back!

We had a great experience leaving our puppies with Kemarie! She provided excellent care in her home, and our pups were clearly well looked after while we were away. Communication was easy, and the whole process—from drop-off to pick-up—went smoothly. We truly appreciate her reliability and would definitely book with her again!

About: I have owned dogs for all of my life. If I could have my way I would own All the dogs. So I fill this void with pet sitting. I have experience in training or helping to correct behaviors the owners are concerned with. I love all of their snuggly faces and sweet expressions. Since the pandemic I’m looking to fill some extra time I have by helping out other owners. I love to keep the pups busy with games and walks.you would receive daily picture updates in addition to any other style of communication that you would prefer to keep your mind at ease while your loved one would be in my care. I do have a pup that is super social, but can also be kept separate based on your preference. I Work from home, so your pup have a full day of activity with my dog, limitless potty breaks, and as many naps as they want I have a fully fenced yard. Tons of toys and a dog of my own that loves all the others. They are love like mine.

Lianna is absolutely amazing I would recommend her to anyone! She was so sweet with my pup! She has so much patience and kindness. She really does care for and love dogs. She understands their needs better than most people, and makes sure the dogs are safe and compatible to play together. Honestly she was a complete godsend for me when I really needed someone to watch my pup!

About: Taking care of and loving animals has always been a true passion of mine. Ever since I can remember, I’ve felt a natural connection with pets and genuinely enjoy spending time with them, making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m comfortable around both cats and dogs of all personalities. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or more calm and shy, I take the time to understand their needs and adjust my care to match their routine and comfort level. As a Navy wife, who is new to the area and currently have a lot of free time, which allows me to give your pets plenty of attention and care. I love taking dogs on walks and trips to the dog park (if permitted), making sure they stay active, stimulated, and happy. I offer a variety of services including walks, drop-in visits, doggy daycare, and overnight boarding. From quick check-ins and playtime to longer stays, I truly enjoy it all and treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m new to Rover but I’ve been pet sitting on my own for years now, so I can provide many references if needed🩷 You can count on me to be reliable, attentive, and caring. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet is in loving hands while you’re away. My schedule is very flexible, with mornings and mid-days working best for walks and drop-in visits. I’m consistent and reliable, so your pet will get the care and attention they need right on time. I’m happy to work with your routine to keep things as normal and stress-free as possible. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow their routine as closely as possible to keep the pet comfortable and stress-free. I make sure doors are secured, water is fresh, and the environment is safe before and after each visit. During walks, I use secure leashes and stay alert at all times to ensure your pet’s safety. I avoid unsafe areas, watch for other animals, and pay close attention to your pet’s behavior and comfort. I always treat your home and your pet with respect and care, as if they were my own.

About: Hello, I am a RN in Pensacola. I have a rescue cat and 5 rescue pups. On the days that I work (3) 12s each week, my pups need a sitter and on the days that I’m off, I have some availability to do sitting, walks and drop-in visits. I’m a structured person and understand others having time and availability expectations as well. As a nurse and the former paw pawrent of a special needs animal, I am comfortable with med administration and the possibility of medical situations happening while caring for pets. I feel I’m an excellent communicator when working with others to care for their little loved one the way that they desire. I’m a natural born nurturer. ❤️ As I mentioned, on the days that I work, I need need mid day drop ins for my pups and on my off days I have a fairly wide open schedule to care for other’s pets. I currently crate 3 of my pups while I’m at work. The other 2 are free in part of my home. My cat is free in part of the home as well. All dogs interact well, but they cat and dogs DO NOT interact. I’m comfortable caring for other’s pets however they desire. From hand feeding to running a feeding tube, I’m okay with most things!

Caroline was great with Buddy! I needed a last minute dog sitter and Caroline was able to take my dog on short notice. She took him out to enjoy some fresh air and made sure that he was comfortable during his stay, which was apparent when I saw all of the photo updates! I would recommend Caroline for dog sitting!

About: I had the same happy and healthy dog for 17 years. I have had my parrot for 27 years. I grew up with a dog, cats and birds. My first pet was Coacoa the rat from the local pet store. I trained my first animal, a parakeet, when I was 10. I love horses. In 2021, I took care of 2 ponies, 1 donkey and 5 horses at a private barn. I have taken care of other animals at people's homes like chickens, guinea pigs, reptiles. I took care of my cousins pet Ball Python for some years. I have been a professional dog trainer doing private lessons in people's homes since 2006. I love hiking and walking dogs, taking them to the dog park and beach. I enjoy being around and giving loving attention to animals. I am the Pied Piper and Doctor Doolittle of animals and kids. In the past I have done boarding and training at my house. There was a short time where I had 6 dogs, 1 parrot and myself in my room all sleeping peacefully in my bedroom. . I will help out with all friendly animals and reptiles. Thank you. I do my best to keep my schedule as adaptible as possible to make your animals top priority. Even when life throws curve balls 🌿 I care for your pets exactly as possible as you want me to. I will sleep in the main Human's bed if your animals are used to that. I will spend extra time as best I can. I will come and go. I do my best to do all the things that you and your animals like so that you have that peace of mind while you are out and about. I have lots of flexibility to be able to give your animals much quality attention and time. I like having my clients let me know ahead of time of their trips so that it's set in the calendar. I make sure to learn what your animals can and cannot do outdoors in your front and / or backyard. Can they be off leash or do they need to be on leash. Etc.

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Seminole

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 336 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Seminole. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Seminole commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in AL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 336 sitters in Seminole, 92% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
