Loving, dog‑only care—walks, enrichment, adventures, or calm indoor comfort, individually tailored. Huge Heart. My aunt raised dogs for show in US and Canada - and she was an emergency vet tech. I helped her with her doggies all my growing up years and learned a lot. Working on getting certified in doggy training. Have human BLS (basic Life Support for medical professionals) but also know doggy CPR and basic medical-can give shots and meds. I just have a huge heart and love to love on the doggies. Sitting same rate as boarding and sometimes easier on the doggies. I just want them to have their routines, pets, loves, favorites (if it's a walk or snuggles) - just be as anxiety free, loved on, and happy as possible while you are away. Currently my schedule is very open for all work. If this does not fill the schedule, will need to adjust around other work. But this is my current priority. If other work is needed, pets still come first and receive 150% love, care, and attention. My doggy is on the rainbow bridge. It is just me in the home. I follow the owners rules and wishes. I want to keep to their training and routines. I don't want the owner coming home to a doggy with bad habits or upset tummy. I want to keep the same diet and structure. I'm a professional, certified teacher and past hospital worker. Absolutely love to love on doggies. About: We have experience with all types of animals! Right now we currently own 2 rabbits, a cat, and 2 dogs, one of the dogs is a senior, and requires daily medication. We also have experience with large animals, Shelby (my partner) owns horses. Overall we have cared for various types of pets throughout the years, and love all types of animals! I am working part time, and she goes to Washington State University all in Spokane, so we will have plenty of time to cater to all of your pet needs! We can walk your pets in low traffic areas, or are more than happy to walk them on trails away from any potential hazards if you would prefer that! We carefully monitor interactions between our own different types of animals to avoid any altercations, which we will also do with your pets! Safety is our #1 priority with ALL pets!

About: I was born and raised on a farm so I have raised many different kinds of livestock and house pets. Animal care is one of my favorite things about living on the farm and I will treat your furry family members as one of my own. I am currently working a 4 days a week, 10 hours a day. I am able to get away during the work day for about an hour, so in that time I can come and let your pet out to potty or give them more food. On the days I am not working, I am completely free to be with your pet for as long as you need me. I will vary my care based on the situation you have at your home and on your pets temperment (ex. going to the park, walking on the sidewalk, or sticking to the yard).

We had a long initial phone consultation to make sure Lori understood our 15 m/o German Shepherd pup has recently regressed with naughty puppy behavior, and wanted to make sure she was up for the challenge. We had an in-home meet and greet which proved that both Lori and our pup instantly got along. We were thankful to be able to get away and feel our pup was in good hands. Lori was up for the challenge and worked hard to indentify our pups’ inconsistencies and how to get along with her. We will use her again in the future for sure!!”

“We had a great experience with Lauren. She bravely took on a job no one else seemed to want, which was house-sitting and dog-sitting for two 6 month old puppies who are not yet house-trained. Housebreaking chihuahua puppies is a lot of work. (We're still working on it...), so this job required an extra dose of patience and diligence. Lauren sent us updates and photos of the puppies while we were away. She also kept our large selection of house plants alive, which is another job unto itself. I can't recommend Lauren highly enough, Anyone who gets Lauren to house or dog-sit is very lucky! We hope to hire her again next time we travel. About: I have particular experience with pets that have medical needs, from pills and eye drops to suppositories and mid-seizure intervention. About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for about five years now. I have worked with Scraps with fostering cats and dogs from newborn to 2 years old. I have house/pet sat for friends, neighbors, and have been recommended to their friends.
