Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, belly rubs, or just relaxing with a companion, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m dependable, patient, and attentive to every dog’s unique personality and routine. I’ll follow your care instructions carefully, provide plenty of updates with photos, and make sure your pup gets the attention, exercise, and affection they deserve. My goal is for you to have complete peace of mind, knowing your best friend is in caring and reliable hands. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! [9:01 PM]Hi, I’m Josh! I’ve always loved being around dogs because they’re more than just pets—they’re family. I know how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else, so my goal is to make sure both you and your pup feel comfortable from the very beginning. I’m the kind of person who enjoys getting outside for walks, playing fetch, giving belly rubs, or just relaxing with a dog that wants some company. Every dog is different, so I’ll take the time to learn their routine, personality, and what makes them happiest. I’m reliable, patient, and pay attention to the little things. Whether it’s sticking to a feeding schedule, giving medication exactly as instructed, or making sure your dog gets the exercise and love they need, I’ll care for them the same way I’d want someone to care for my own. You’ll get plenty of photo and video updates while you’re away, so you can relax knowing your best friend is safe, happy, and in good hands. I’d love the chance to meet you and your dog and become someone you can count on whenever you need a trusted sitter. I work full-time at Amazon, which has helped me become dependable, organized, and great at managing my time. When I’m not at work, I dedicate my time to caring for the dogs in my care. I keep my schedule up to date and only accept bookings when I know I can give your pet the attention they deserve. Whether it’s before work, after work, or on my days off, your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my priority. I’ll make sure they get plenty of exercise, playtime, love, and regular updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care, and I don’t take that lightly. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, comfortable, and at home from the moment they arrive. I provide a clean, secure environment where your pet will get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I’ll follow your dog’s routine just the way you do, keep a close eye on them, and treat them with the same love, patience, and care I’d want for my own pet. I want you to feel completely at ease, knowing your furry family member is in caring, trustworthy hands.
About: I have had animals my entire life, I love them all; big and small. I treat them all as my own. I can be found on the floor playing with a dog almost anywhere I go. Your best friend is in good hands with me as I am home full time and would like to do what I love and that is working with animals. I find working with animals to be fulfilling and makes me happy to keep them company while their people are at work or away and unable to do so. Working with animals in a non-veterinary setting is my dream job and I hope to make some new friends in the process. I will send pictures, updates, and make sure your buddy is happy and loved while you are away. I am with them 24/7 for the most part and this is what I do, so my rates reflect my experience and dedication to being the best pet sitter for you and your furry friends. You can count on me to care for furry friends in a gentle and thorough manner as if they were my own. I am home full time, your fur babies will have constant care while they are with me. I love being home and cuddling up with my fur buddies. I have 2 dogs and a cat. Safety is my number one priority. I’m never away for very long. I never open an entry door without making sure that my dogs are gated or behind another interior door away from a point of escape. I am very familiar with even the sneakiest of escape artist’s, so I will ask to see all points of entry/exit of your home at our meet and greet. Your fur babies’ safety is in good hands with me and my ultimate priority. (I plan around physician appointments and other drop ins)

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats of all kinds and ages since I can remember. We had cats growing up and they were the light of my life. Every day I looked forward to coming home and knowing they would be there waiting for me to give them all the love. Starting in high school is when I began to get familiar with dogs as well. Neighbors, friends, and family have all taught me so much and then began relying on me to love and care for their fur babies. Which included anywhere from walking, feeding, grooming, and overall well-being. I've done quite a bit of house sitting recently and have no problem with cleaning when needed as well. I can promise you that your fur babies will be treated as if they are my own. Animals have a special place in my heart, they become more than pets, they become family and I intend to treat and care for them as such. I will be starting classes again soon, which are online so pet care fits perfectly into my daily/weekly routine. I'll be able to create a schedule that works well for school and being able to give the best attention I can to pet care. Currently I am able to care for pets at the client's home if it is for dogs. For cats special arrangements can be made for me to watch them here at my home. I have quite a bit of experience with house/pet sitting for current clients. Starting with a visit to the clients home to go over anything they would like to discuss, meeting the pets, and I also bring some questions of my own. To make sure I have all my bases covered. My main goal is to make sure the clients feel safe with me taking care of not only their pets but also their home. For cats here I have plenty of room for a cat to roam and play with plenty of sunlight and a cat box and food/water bowls if the client does not want to transport their own. We do have an older husky (incredibly friendly and quiet), but my room is on the second floor and has a door that I can shut to keep the downstairs (where our dog spends 99% of his time) closed off if your cat does not like dogs.
“Isabel did an awesome job communicating her time spent with Gemma! I loved seeing where they walked and getting a report on how Gemma did:) loved getting pictures throughout the day:). We will definitely ask Isabel to care for Gemma again!”

About: I am an Art grad student and currently working on my thesis at home. I have a 3 years old dog named Mischa, who is the best part of my life. I will provide everything for your dogs, the same as I provide for my dog. He is 90lb, so I am pretty okay with the huge dogs, when I take care of them I take them to a walk at least twice a day, pulse plays with them at home. If the owner is okay I would love to take them to the dog park with my dogs. I provide the same environments for your dogs when you are not around for a short time. I hope I get a chance to meet your dog. Thanks, Safa

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
