“The reviews are 100% reliable! Nyerah took really good care of my Mia baby. It was our first time leaving her with anyone so my anxiety was off the roof. However, Nyerah helped me be at ease by being super understanding and updating me throughout the day. She always stayed in touch so my husband and I were able to enjoy our trip without worrying. Thank you so much Nyerah, I will be booking you again!”

About: I've been a devoted pet lover my entire life. From coaxing stray cats to my childhood home (much to my parents' dismay) to training horses, furry companions have always brought me immense joy. Since 2016, I've run a pet sitting business, and I'm excited to now offer boarding services in my home alongside in-home visits at your place. In my peaceful Valley Grande home, I host one to three pets at a time, ensuring a cozy and personalized experience. I have a fenced-in shady backyard for dogs who like to relax or play unleashed. I limit boarding to three pets from the same household, treating them as if they were my own. No crates are used (unless you prefer them for specific times), and your pets are free to roam my home. If you have a single pet, they’ll enjoy exclusive attention with no other animals boarded during their stay. Whether you have one, two, or three pets (dogs, cats, or a mix), as long as they get along at home, they’ll feel right at home with me. If any pet needs their own space, I’ll provide a private room filled with toys and comfy beds. My spacious home is far too big for just one person, and my mission is to make it a loving second home for your cherished companions. As a retired teacher and massage therapist, I’ve channeled my passion for nurturing into a dedicated pet care business. Working primarily from home with a flexible, part-time schedule, I’m able to provide your pet with the personalized attention and care they deserve. My availability ensures I can focus on meeting their unique needs, offering a tailored experience that prioritizes their comfort and well-being. As a professional pet sitter, I combine dedication with a deep connection to animals to ensure your pet's comfort, safety, and happiness. I approach each job knowing that by being attuned to your pet's needs, I can create moments of joy and engagement. These interactions not only provide your pet with the stimulation and care they crave while you're away but also allow me to quickly notice if they need extra attention. For me, pet sitting is far more than a job—it's a passion driven by those meaningful connections.

About: I’ve been working with animals for over 5 years now and I don’t think I can ever get tired of it. I first started working at an animal clinic in my home town called Pate’s Animal Clinic at the age of 17 and now it has become a passion of mines to start my own business pet sitting and grooming. I love what I do so much and I can honestly say I don’t look at it as a job but more so a fun experience where I can do what I love while bringing joy to pets and pet owners. I am currently still working at the clinic part time but I’ve informed my boss about my pet sitting/ daycare job through rover and he has agreed to work around my schedule. On days I have bookings I will not be working at the clinic but I will still help him on my off days. I’ve set my profile to accept booking 2 days in advance so I will be able to notify Dr.Pate when I am busy. I have a fenced in yard so that they can play outdoors and I also will have areas set up indoors as well for small dogs and for when it is too cold or hot outside for your pet. The yard is fenced in from the front yard all the way to the back yard and the fence is in good shape but I will be keeping a close eye on them at all times to make sure they are safe and comfortable. When the pet first arrives I like to let them get comfortable with me before anything. I like to give them a chance to sniff me and warm up to me then I allow them to get comfortable with they’re surroundings such as being inside the house and the front yard. Once they are comfortable and they trust me I like to find fun activities which I like to call P.E for pets. Lol I just find this good for daily exercise for your pets such as playing fetch, swimming, going on walks, finding treats in the yard that I hide to see how well they’re senses are and etc. I picked up these exercises while working at Taylor crossing Animal Clinic in Montgomery a few months ago and I find them very helpful and fun for your pet. They will also have a feeding schedule provided by the owner that will tell me how often they eat, how much and if they have any medication that will need to be given to them.

About: If you pick me to help handle your beloved baby/babies I can guaranteed you will NOT be let down. I will provide them with exact instructions on their daily care. He/she shall receive my undivided attention including being pampered and played along with being treated as if my own animals. I have a flexible schedule on the weekend, and can do drop by as well. I know some people find it uncomfortable for a stranger to stay the night at someones' house and I would like to say if not comfortable I do not I am more than happy to do multiple check-ins a day. And of course i will help with providing clean up. I have watch over tons of animals through the years of all sizes with all different personalities for friends and family and I'm always the first person they call back when needing a babysitter. Weekends I am free (Except in the month of June) Weekdays I work 8-5 If dog friendly I can take them with me or I can stop by each visit for potty breaks, cleaning, Grooming, playtime/exercise, and hugs. *I NO LONGER have a cat. I can still take them as well mine are very friendly with cats but can still be kept separated if needed for boarding. -Served breakfast, lunch, and dinner (or how ever instructied) -If they need to take any medication I can also help with that as long as it's not done by injection. -Tons of play/exercise time -Can be done at home, walking, or I can take them to a park. -Basic Grooming -Being washed and brushed -Basic training and/or tricks -Tons of hugs
