About: I have had dogs in my life since i was 11 years old (27 years). Last october i had to say goodbye to my companion of 11 years, Wanda. I am not ready for another dog of my own and want to be around your dogs as much as possible. I believe in reciprocal relational dynamics between humans and dogs are the best approach to training and trust, not dominance and control. I would like to care for your dog by building a relationship with them based on their personality and needs. Would love to meet you and your dog! I am currently a self-employed carpenter and bee keeper. My schedule is very flexible and i can work with you and your dogs schedule and needs. I live in a household with 3 other dogs who are my roommates', so I cannot board at my home, but am more than happy and available for caring for them at yours. I am good with all size and age of dogs.

About: I am available Monday-Sunday any time to watch your dog! I am a big dog-person, as I grew up with 3 dogs and ran a dog walking business. I am a returned Peace Corps volunteer, a graduate from Tulane University’s MPH program in New Orleans, and work from home as an Epidemiologist for the Department of Health. I am a caring, reliable, outgoing person that has always had a soft-spot for animals. I have a lot of experience taking care of animals and would love to walk, run, or just take care of your dog whenever you need! I know life can be busy so I would love to help give your pet some love while you’re away. I love to go on long walks and have a big backyard to run around in. I truly enjoy animals and am the person you want to walk, board, daycare or house sit your dog! I work from home so would not have to leave your pet alone. We also have a yard and live near City Park. My dog would love to have a buddy to play with too! My dog, King, is super sweet and gets along with all dogs. He always loves the company of another dog to play with. I can also keep the dogs separate easily, if needed.

“I have a pretty nervous Pitty and Lindsay has been wonderful with him. He has really opened up to her and looks forward to his walks. He doesn’t like a lot of people, but he likes Lindsay!”

About: I’ve had dog, cats, reptiles, and fish pretty much all my life. I love meeting, playing, and taking care of animals. I live to see them happy and comfortable. I tend to get along with animals very well! I have multiple animals that I help take care of daily. They are like my siblings and I love them dearly. I am my family’s pet sitter and would like to expand. I much rather keep the animal(s) in their own home to be the most comfortable. I like to build trust with any animal I come to care for like it is my own.

My open schedule means I can dedicate my full attention to the animal in my care as they need it. I provide a safe, comfortable environment whether in your home or mine. I can also provide basic home care, such as bringing in the mail, watering plants, and ensuring the home stays tidy. Whether it's an overnight stay or daily visits, I always prioritize the pet’s comfort and well-being and will treat your home as I would want mine to be treated.

Kelley N.
“Kelley has nearly 20 years of experience caring for pets professionally and personally. Kelley is extremely trustworthy and reliable and there is no better choice for your pet caregiving needs. Kelley has always taken excellent care of my pets!”

Kenneth D.
“As long as i've known Kenneth Dumas he's always been found to be a compassionate lover of animals, especially dogs. He's taken in big dogs like labs, medium mixed-breed dogs, and small dogs like terriers. Strays off the street and dogs people have trusted to take care of in their abscence, whether the owners were going away for a temporary summer vacation, moving to another state and the owner couldn't bring the dog with them for whatever reason, or simply a family dog that the owner, unfortunately was getting older and less mobile. Kenneth is always the go-to guy to help out in that regard. When I last saw him late last year he had adopted an adorable brown and white mid-sized dog named Bella. Bella is by all accounts a loyal, protective, and fun loving dog who Kenneth has very-well trained whether she's inside or outside chasing sticks. This isn't surprising considering who her caretaker is. Also, Kenneth has told me that one of the more personal reasons he enjoys walking and taking care of dogs is that the daily dog walks he goes on allows him to stay fit, "get his steps in" , I think is the phrase. So in conclusion, I think Kenneth Dumas would make an excellent pet caregiver to anyone who would solicit his services. He's attentive to the animals needs, has no problem taking them to parks to run out that energy, and has a demeanor that any animals that are fortunate enough to meet him immediately trusts and sense that he'll make sure they are happy and healthy. Can't recommend enough.”
