About: Hello, I’m Kat. I LOVE Dogs!!! I have worked professionally with dogs my entire life. I am a private dog groomer, trainer, caretaker and I specialize in off leash hikes on our private trails. Leashes are also welcome as needed. Guest dogs stay in the house with me and my two fun loving and respectful dog pals and are treated like family. We send regular photo updates so you can be assured your dog is having a wonderful time. I mostly work from home, there are days when I need to be away but never for more than four hours. We do a daily four mile hike, off-leash, though leashes are welcome also. Guest dogs are treated like family. I’ve got two fun-loving and respectful dogs who are accustomed to guests. It’s a dog party everyday! We do a daily four mile off-leash hike, which of course can be leashed as necessary. For the most part all the dogs go with me on trips to town etc. Guests usually bring a crate for their private sleeping den. Guests bring their own food. I liberally utilize yummy treats to encourage great behavior. Pet parents can be assured that I have decades of experience in dog handling including vet experience and I am great at noticing the small things with dog health and behavior. My clients quickly become extended family!

I try to work every chance I get to I am going to college part time , but I have a lot of free time. I have a big yard with lots of room for the dog to run around on and I have a dog that friendly to other dogs

“Jessica was great with my big dog. I made a very last minute request and was lucky she was free! When I picked my pup up, he was calm and happy. She also provided pictures during. Thank you ! :)”

About: I grew up on a small farm, caring for animals from dogs to pigs to horses. From a young age my parents stressed the work and responsibility required for happy and healthy animals, so their care was a big part of my childhood. As a kid I spent my time volunteering and our local animal shelter and clinic, and assisting with the whelping and training of dogs for Canine Companions for Independence. I recently graduated with a Bachelors in Animal Science at UH Manoa, and worked for a vet clinic/boarding facility while attending. I am comfortable with dogs of all ages and temperaments, and have lots of experience with administering medications, training, and of course having fun and giving lots of love! Since graduating, I work as a wildlife researcher for the Fish and Wildlife. I am happy to do regular, long term stays or just short playtime breaks. I have my own transportation and am willing to work with your schedule. Every pet has different needs, and I like to work closely with owners to ensure that their pets are getting exactly the level of care they need. I am always available by phone and love sending pictures to reassure pet parents that their baby is happy and safe

About: Our dogs are our family. We’ve taken care of our own family dogs since childhood, and dog sit for our friends and family. We went through an obedience training program with Obi and have had Obi in our family since his adoption. We get our daily walks, play time, yard time and make it a priority to get a long run (optional for your pup) or trip to the park each day that it’s possible. Dogs are free to roam in the house, go in and out of our secure backyard through doggy door, and we have plenty of dog beds and resting areas around the house, including the couch!

Kathryn is a seasoned professional working in the field for decades. We rely on her vast knowledge of experience as a dog owner herself and as our groomer/care taker. I strongly recommend Kathryn without hesitation to anyone desiring to work with her.”

She was raised on a farm with other animals including chickens, goats, geese, turkeys, and of course dogs and cats. Being with, and caring for, animals is her happy place. She is intuitive and incredibly aware of how to care for all types of animals. She has whelped puppies for Canine Companions as well as administering care for elderly dogs.
