About: I started petsitting as a college student in DC in 2010, until I left in 2013. I took a short break, but began petsitting again in Ithaca NY in 2014, running my own business, and stayed very busy until 2020 when covid hit. Since then, I have kept my clients to a select few, very local clients. I have experience with all kinds of animals, but I have finally admitted I'm a crazy dog lady :) I currently work full time but am a homebody outside of work, and animals are my stress relief...so I love being able to spend time with all kinds of animals! When caring for pets in client's homes, I always ensure that they are safe. If there is a fenced in area, I ensure that all gates are secure before letting pets out. If there is no fenced in area, I always ensure that I walk dogs in a safe location and avoid contact with other dogs.

About: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

About: Animal lover of all sorts. A family isn’t complete with a furry little or big four legged best friend. I have grown up all my life around animals dogs especially, now with children of my own I love to share that experience with them. Your dog or cat will be loved and care for just like you would take care of them. My goal is to ease their worry while you are working knowing they are having a great day themselves. Available and flexible times if needed . We run, we play and meet friends (if like to play with others dogs) long walks in the leaves or snow we come over in all weather. Pick me and your dog will sure have a day to remember

I can come home at any time to feed or let your pet out. I have a large wide open yard. We live on a dead end road. I currently have a small toy Shih Tzu. She’s just over 15 years old, but loves to play with other animals.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life, including dogs, cats and fish. Since they’ve always brought me such joy, and I wanted extra income that could be flexible, I decided to start walking and caring for dogs and cats about 10 years ago. During these years I’ve learned a lot about training, administering meds and dealing with pets that take their time warming up to strangers. I’d love to bring this level of care and experience to your furry loved one’s. Additional references can be provided if you’d like. I am currently traveling the country slowly with my girlfriend. I have a growing bookkeeping business, but it’s perfectly flexible to allow for my passion to care for dogs and cats. I will carefully follow any and all instructions left for me, and we’ll always have fun too. I am very respectful and make sure to leave the home as clean as I found it.

About: I have been around animals all my life. I have always done very well with dogs and have been taking care of my own, my family’s, and my friend’s dogs for as long as I can remember. I can handle all sorts. I am an active individual and do great with dogs that like to play or go for walks. My availability often varies. I work full time 8AM-4PM everyday of the week, but have time in the afternoons to see dogs. I am up through the night and can do appointments in the night as well. My weekends are typically free for appointments. I am a very attentive care giver. I will tend to all of your dog’s needs and pay close attention to their behaviors. I am good at following schedules and instructions. I am great at keeping dogs entertained and helping to get some energy let out. I am active and can take dogs for any length of a walk and play with them for however long is needed. I am able to handle all types of dogs.

About: I have a soft spot for animals of any kinds, and dogs are no exception. My love of animals later lead me to get trainer certified at Petco, and later trained my first service dog for a veteran. From puppy's to older ones, dog for me are no problem. Iv trained everything for few week old pups to old ones. You can generally teach dogs new tricks at any age. I also have perfected a (almost) treatless method that iv used on big to small. If one is patient, it is effective. These are beings in our care and they deserve to be treated well in a way they understand, which is typically pets and praise and a treat every now and then their way This is my job, my hobbies as a droneir fits around it. The needs of your furry family is what takes priority as you lead on with the adventure of life. About: Tell your dog I said hi!!! I have taken care of pets since I was 10. My family and friends rely on me regularly to keep their homes and animals safe! I am in between jobs right now, so I have all the time to care for your loved ones and can stay at your home during the day if wanted! I unfortunately can't have pets at my apartment but dog sitting is a way to get my pet snuggles in! You'll receive cute pet pictures if you want as well! I would come to your home and meet your pets first and familiarize their routine with you before you leave. Very open with communication for your needs.
