About: Hi everyone! Our names are Karen and Chad and we’ve always had a love for dogs since childhood. The thought of caring or rescuing a dog has always been top of our minds. When we got married, we adopted a greyhound racer. We had him for 7 years and lost him unfortunately due to cancer. Since we lost him, we’ve wanted to continue helping/caring for dogs and can’t think of a better way then helping others with their fur animals. We know the working world doesn’t always accommodate balancing out caring for our fur friends and work and would love to help with that! Please chose us to care for your fur friends whether it’s a walk or a overnight stay in our home! We will treat them with the utmost love and care! We are available for stays and walks in our home from Thursday until Sunday night. We work from home Thursday and Fridays so can walk them whenever needed! We have a nice back yard but do not currently have a fence (at this time). We can walk the dogs in our backyard with a leash and or take them to nearby parks. We do have a dog bed and dog water/food bowels with plenty of space in our 2200 sq.ft home.

“Melissa is the most caring and gentle pet caregiver a pet parent could ask for. I hired her for a 6 night stay to watch my 9 year old pup Bear, and everything went perfect. Bear is very apprehensive around strangers, but he warmed up to Melissa instantly. She has a very calming and friendly presence that Bear could sense. Melissa was quick to respond when requesting updates about Bear. The house was more tidy than I had left it, and I had no worries that anything of value would come up missing. Incredibly trustworthy, I highly recommend Melissa more than anyone I've hired before.”

About: I’ve cared for and worked with all types of animals since my best friend mother owned a pet shelter. Which developed a great love of caring for animals. Those friends have now turned into vets and vet techs, so you can travel worry free knowing I have the greatest knowledge of how to care for your little/big/reptilian/fishy/cat/dog 🥰 My schedule is full time but I have a very lax work environment where I can clock in and clock out whenever it is that I need. So I will be able to accommodate whatever scheduling you need with a breeze. I do have a fenced in yard and plenty of space in my home for your pet to roam. I also live in the country so your pets will love their little slice of paradise here.

About: I have taken care of dogs since i was 7, friends, neighbors, family as well as my many of own! I can train, and administer medications to any fur baby! I’m almost always available day and night so i’m very flexible with scheduling, and so your baby will have as much attention as he/she wants! I live near 2 dog parks and i have one right behind my house! I also have 1 dog of my own, a newfoundland lab mix. I also have 2 cats but theyre always in hiding. I let them on the furniture and run in the yard under supervision as much as they please and i will give the same attention and accessibility to your pups too! I can crate as well as follow any schedule you may have your your pup and train too if requested! I currently work an 6am-3pm job on weekdays days a week. So anytime after 3pm all the way until 4am i am free! I also work nights occasionally 3pm-11pm as well. I follow any and all rules. I treat your pet as though theyre my pet! I strive to give the best services possible so you and your pet can feel safe in my care.

“I am a little late in getting out this review, but in no way was it because I was disinterested or not wanting to do so..On the contrary, I absolutely felt the need to write this because of the loving service I felt my family had received from this Pet Sitter. Our family has 2 pets, a dog(Susy) and a cat(Milu) and like most on this site, we deem them to be our precious little babies. They never have really been away from the family for any great length of time, so finding someone to watch and care for them was very important to us. My family was to be in South America for a week, while I was away from home that same time for my work. I had found a Pet Sitter very close to our home for Susy, but could not find anyone for Milu. After much searching, I realized the Rover website and there found numerous Pet Sitters available for Milu. After much searching, we were able to procure the services of a Sitter on Rover and set the contract. Then, with 1 week before our departure, the contractor informed us that she had to cancel our reservation because of health issues in her immediate family and would not be in the area during the needed time. That really put us in dilemma to find someone in such short time. So we searched the Rover site and found several, but all the family agreed to contact Melissa... There were several things that greatly impressed us about Melissa. First there were the reviews. While there were not many, Melissa's reviews were actually very accurate and factual about the care that our Milu would receive. They spoke of the great love she had for animals, as we all experienced firsthand. As I had mentioned, our babies had not been away from us and Milu is very timid with strangers. So, we were surprised when we actually brought her to Melissa and after Milu s brief inspection of her new abode (Lol), she was right there, on the couch and happy as can be. I know that animals sense our love for them and I was amazed at how comfortable she was at that time. Later photos, which Melissa sent through the week, also confirmed how tranquil our precious niña was. In fact, when I returned a week later for Milu, she went to Melissa, not to me and she actually cried when I took her away. That experience was special to me and I knew then that our family had made the correct decision in choosing Melissa. Another proof to me that Milu was very comfortable there, was how she interacted with Melissa's young son. Normally, she runs and hides from children, but the pictures showed her actively playing with the boy! I have never seen her do this with any other children, but my own. I can think of no other magic that could have done that, but love. Yes, I am and family are so pleased with the decision we made to contract Milu's care with Melissa. I think that anyone who loves their pet would also have the same impressions with Melissa's care. I almost never write reviews, but felt the need to express my thoughts and feelings with this one. Thank you Melissa for taking care of our Milu! And, I actually do think that Milu misses you!!!!”

About: I have loved & cared for both small and large dogs since I was young. I currently have two smaller dogs, that are fed the best quality of foods, long walks & going for a run/bike ride every Sunday for 5+ miles. I am always trusted with caring for family pets when family leaves out of town. I currently work from home full-time, so you can rest assured that someone would be able to be with your pet for the entirety of their stay. Typically try and go for a walk through the neighborhood after work, weather dependent. I have a fenced yard that allows your pet to play in, we also have a full basement for playing in rainy days. Lots of living space to never feel cramped, and pets are always allowed on the couch for their comfort.

About: Hello there! ☺️ I’ve been volunteering with animals (mostly dogs & cats) since I was 12 years old. I am now an experienced dog sitter that families rely on to sit their fur babies! Sometimes you wish you can travel with your fur babies but you just can’t :( While your pet is in my care, it is my number one priority to make sure their needs are met! They will get tons of love & affection. I care for pets in my home just like they are apart of my family. This goes the same for all of my clients pets as well, of course. I’ll be sure to keep them from feeling lonely while their family is away. We’ll play games if they’re up to it, a walk if preferred or even a trip to the dog park! I’m always down for an adventurous walk with the pups. :)

About: Hi there! 🐶I've been a dog owner since I was 8. My first puppy was a dachshund named Katie! 😌 Before that I found stray cats and would try to let them into my home or at least feed them and leave a box and a blanket out. I've been an animal lover since a very young age! Teaching my children to love all creatures and treat them with kindess. I currently don't own a dog (ours passed 3 months ago) but I do have a kitten, who has been socialized with dogs so she's used to them! I also look after my friends animals when they're out or on vacation, or just try to get them over for a sleepover to get some doggy love! ☺ I'm a stay at home mother of two boys so finding time for dog walking/animal sitting can easily be accomplished and I have open availability for the most part. I have a huge field behind my house that your fur baby can run and play in. Two kiddos at home to help give them all the love and treats (an appropriate amount of course). If your fur baby needs to be crated, I will do so as long as you provide their crate.

About: I have been thing care of dogs since I was 10 and I love them so much from tiny dogs to huge dogs they are all welcomed here! Your dog with be safe and comfort with me! I am also very strong so no worries I can't walk your fur baby. 💪 I currently work at a hospital but I create my own schedule so I have all the time in the world for your fur babies!! About: I’ve taken care of animals of all shapes and sizes my entire life! I have loved and cared for big dogs, little dogs, cats and several rodents! I currently have a full time job that is 8-5 but I’m working from home so as long as I have access to wifi, I can snuggle and care for your pet all day I make sure to follow a feeding schedule of the clients choice and keep a full water bowl. I make sure pets have the chance to go potty every 4hours and even play with them! In the afternoon I like to take them for a walk and give them lots of love
