“I ended up needing a short-notice, “panic” cat check-in option from Rover before a 10-day trip. Lillie responded and communicated promptly. When I need cat sitting services again, I will be going back to Lillie.”

About: My number one pet care skill is dog walking. In current life I have now, my family recently adopted an eleven month lab mix puppy who I have been helping to house train and potty train her. I live near a park with a track around it, so it makes it easy to walk her. My other skill would be getting dogs to like and trust me. Ever since I was four, I have had at least two dogs, which has trained me to give dogs a lot of pettings, talk to them, and play with them. Other specialties I have are feeding, watering, bathing, brushing a dog, and training a dog basic tricks, such as sit. Overall, I have had five dogs, in my life time since I was four, including a Jack Russel, Terrier mix, Pyrenees Poodle, Feist, and a Lab mix. Parting outside of dogs, I have experience with caring for rabbits, birds and fowl (chicken, duck, geese, guinea), and a stray cat. Hi, I am a second year college student, and also have a job in fast food. Dog sitting is my side gig, which making my hours limited. I am available all day on Sundays, available after 1:30pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and before 3pm on Saturdays. The number one way I will care for your pet at your home is by being attentive. I'll make sure that they are not doing anything they should not be doing. I will also ensure they have plenty of time outside for potty breaks, walks, and exercise. Furthermore I will keep an eye that they are fed properly, have plenty of water, and loved and cared for. Lastly, I'll make certain to clean whatever mess your pet may make and guarantee that your pet is happy and content.

“Super helpful. Needed her last minute and she was able to put time aside and help us out. She is super reliable and professional. 10/10 would recommend!”

“10/10.”

“Heather was Great! She was able to come over before the trip so I can show her exactly what we needed. While there she was great with communication and taking take of my fur baby. I will be using her again in up coming trips”

“This was the first time we had left Pip, our 12 year cat with anyone. We were nervous about how he would do having someone in his house. Could not have gone better. Dixie was great! Always sending updates, pictures and videos. Very obvious Pip was comfortable with her and glad to be in his own home. Will definitely schedule with Dixie again.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats and hamsters for a couple of years first was my family dog, then my cat in college and roommate’s hamster I only work 2-3 days out of the week for only 2 hours and I am free weekends. Which gives me enough time to care for your pets and spend time with them. I can also care for smaller pets like fish or hamsters if needed. In my home, which is my dorm, I feed my cat twice a day and make sure his water bowl is always full and clean out his litter box at the beginning of each day. In case of a fire I grab my cat with his emergency bag and I have also helped my roommate get her hamster out during a fire drill. I always make sure to spend time playing with them as well. For clients I make sure to care for their pets as I would want anyone else to care for mine; providing the food as asked by the client and cleaning after the pet as asked which includes cleaning the litter box or going for walks and playing with the pets.

“It has been such a pleasure getting to know Brinkley and having her watch my pets. She's an awesome, positive, and very responsible caregiver and I highly recommend her! Thank you Brinkley for going above and beyond to care for my home and animals.”

“Terrific service, timely updates, clear communication. Couldn't be more pleased.”

About: I am your typical animal lover! The one you see talking to people’s pets in public. I currently have a rescue GSD and a rescue cat so whether you have had your pet since a puppy or adopted at an older age, I assure you they will get ALL the loving. My passion is to rescue hurt, sick, or abandoned animals. I love meeting all the different personalities pets bring. I am a travel emergency nurse that finished an assignment in Highlands, NC recently. I am pretty flexible on times currently. I loved the area so I have decided to hang out for a while until my next assignment. I travel back home (AL) to work every two weeks but will have several days of availability! I am very responsible when it comes to mine and your pet. You set the boundaries for your pets and myself and I promise we will abide by them

“Ashley was amazing! I love the convince of the pick up and drop off!”

About: I’ve taken care of pets my whole life and have had a wide variety of pets. I am comfortable taking care of senior pets puppies and ones that require special needs. I have a flexible lifestyle and flexible scheduling and can provide the needed time to care for your pet and will provide updates on a consistent basis. I have a large yard and will keep pets on leash if required but I am located in a rural area a good distance from any major road.

About: While I am new to Rover, I am not new to pet care! My family has raised boxer puppies for 20+ years and small breeds for 10+. So I have worked with all sizes and ages, from bottle feeding newborn puppies to taking care of elderly dogs and I love every minute of it! I have 4 dogs, 4 rabbits, 2 sugar gliders a cat, and a duck, and all 12 of them are very spoiled furbabies! So if you have any “exotic” animals that need to be checked on while I’m around that won’t be a problem! I spend every minute I have with my furbabies and look forward to being able to spoil yours as well! While your dog is in my care I will love them like my own. I love being outdoors so hiking and dog parks are part of my daily routine. I can’t wait to meet your furbabies!

About: I've raised and cared for dogs and cats my entire life! I'm familiar with them at all stages, ages, and sizes with basic or special needs (medication, extra snuggles, house rules, etc.). I'm also skilled with caring and training pups! My current dog, Duck, was raised and trained using Zac George's inside-out training which enforces positive behavior and builds a strong relationship with your pup. Duck has also experienced some long-term healthcare needs and emergencies, all of which were handled with absolute care, precision, and peace to cause less stress on him. I'm familiar with medication regimens and adapting to an animal's needs. As for cats, I have two of my own that I love dearly! I'm here to provide any care they need as well including snuggles, treats, and playtime. **NOTE OF AVAILABILITY** I'm available all day Sunday-Tuesday for pet care. On Wednesday and Thursdays, I'm unavailable 12:15 - 6:15 due to work, and again I'm unavailable on Fridays 11:15 - 5:15 due to work. I can check in on your pets or walk them anytime before or after! As the owner of a rambunctious pup, I understand the value of rules! If visiting or staying in your home, I'll obey all house rules for myself and your pet. I clean up after myself and your pup as well as crate them, treat them, or whatever else they need.

“Julia was perfect with Maggie. On her first visit, she spent a long time trying to earn Maggie’s trust, and by the end of the three-day sitting, Maggie eagerly waited for her at our doorstep. Even when we got home, Maggie stared at the door waiting for her to come back again. We will call on Julia again in the future without hesitation.”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats, and now take care of four dogs of my own: a lab, a great pyrenees, an Australian shepherd, and an American bulldog. I have experience with puppy care, elderly dogs, and have cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I work remotely, so my schedule is flexible for home visits or overnight stays as needed. I work part time remotely and stay at home with my infant son. My wife works in education, so I am very available during the summer months when she is home from school. My availability during the week is sometimes limited depending on the length of drive and type of care needed. I am comfortable with the different needs of different dogs and cats. My own dogs have free reign of the house and yard and are well trained, but I am comfortable with any dog whether he or she needs to be crated, walked, or has specific needs or restrictions. I know that day-to-day consistency can be really important when a pet's owner is out of town.

April W.
“You only have to know April for a few minutes to discover she has a clear passion for animals, especially dogs, horses, and cats! She is extremely knowledgeable about animals from her youth of owning various animals, working after school for a local horse breeder, and spending time in a local vet office. This, along with her ER nursing experience, gives her a confidence that I appreciate when she takes care of my pup. When April keeps my dog, I travel without a single worry for his safety and health. I know I will come home to find him healthy, happy, and usually not wanting to leave her! There are very few people that I consider leaving my dog with for brief business trips, but when I needed to be in Spain for a month, I would have canceled the trip if April had not been available. She treated my pet as she would her own, maintained consistent communication (soothing my separation anxiety!), and was unwavering in following my dog's unique diet plan. I would not hesitate to recommend April to anyone seeking devoted, outstanding care for their furry family members.”

Taylor C.
“Taylor is great with my pets - He communicates very well. He sends updated pictures and lets me know how my pets are doing while I’m traveling. I go out of town quite a bit and Taylor has always been exceptional about watching my pets and making sure that they are loved and taken care of in my absence. I don’t know what I would do without Taylor. He’s the best!”

“We have two cats and one dog, who has very specific medical needs. He is a handful, and very energetic and strong, but Anna took great care of him, kept him happy and healthy, and was able to administer the medicine he needed each day. Anna is very patient, loving, and kind. She even taught our dog some new tricks! I would highly recommend Anna for any pet sitting needs, and I know she'll be watching our animals again in the future.”

Christopher P.
“I can't recommend Christopher enough as a kind, caring, and highly knowledgable animal caregiver. Christopher has spent a lifetime rescuing, rehoming, and caring for animals. I personally have worked alongside him as he raised, managed, and cared for farm animals, gaining valuable animal first aid experience for all types of furry, hooved, and feathered friends. Owning multiple pets of his own, Christopher knows well the needs of dogs and cats of all ages, always holding their wellbeing top of mind.”
